I am so excited!!! I am ALMOST 57 years old. I have ALWAYS wanted to learn how to do french braid ANY WAY! This week? I have learned how to do it. I had three girls and would have LOVED to know how to do it all their years growing up etc WHOEVER it is that says you" cant "teach an old a new trick?" is totally all wrong. Thank you!!!!

Thank you so much!! This is the first time I've been able to do a french braid in my hair without it being horrifically messy and uneven. It looks and feels really secure and nice. Can't wait to try the other braids!
(Also...I did NOT realize the fishtail braid was so easy! Going with that one tomorrow. And next time I see one of those barbie hair dolls at the thrift store I'm buying it to practice my hand movements 😁)

Woo-hoo! I did it! I made a Dutch braid! And it's pretty decent! Sorry for all the exclamation points, I'm just excited :) my 3 yo has amazing blonde hair and a mom with 2 left hands ;) I started doing okay with regular braids and figured it's time to learn some new styles. I always feel like I am missing a hand or a few figures to manage her hair successfully, but with your very very very clear visual instructions (I watched on mute as it made me verbally process for myself what's going on and thus make it easier to understand what to do) I was able to get the hang of it! I'm gonna practice the Dutch braid for the next few days (hoping her silky smooth hair will hold well with it) and come back for more 👌🏻
Now I get it. Can't wait to go home and try this to my daughter 😁

I find it so difficult to find a updo or braid when you also have bangs, and if I find some, it's so hard to follow alone, because they just go superspeed 😬
