I've been taking these lessons and using them on the course and yesterday I officially threw my furthest so far...442ft... not bad for a 45yo. Thanks for these tips!!
Great video bud! A quick hammer and nails comment from my own practice. I want to footnote your video when you talk about creating or perhaps maybe contributing to rotational torque with the offhand to say without sacrificing any protraction from your throwing arm's shoulder. Would you agree, Connor?
Thank you my friend! What exactly are you meaning by protraction? I am having trouble understanding your advanced terminology but with some clarification I may be able to help!
@@ConnorOReillyDG For sure! There are some fellow form nerds I adore (@dgspindoctor and @armorydiscgolf for example) that have pointed out the fundamental of getting your throwing arm as long as you can make it, by PUSHING your shoulder to the forwardmost position, protracted. Retraction is when you pull your shoulder blades together. So, I was practicing your tutorial and reminding myself to keep my upper arm up, out and away and protecting the pocket from collapsing as the rotational torque kicks in with the punch down. Does that clarify?
Off arm is something I've been struggling with lately and been trying to work on. I tend to not get it close to the body. Do you have any drills for correcting this? I get the theory I just don't know how to reprogram my muscle memory.
I think working on some standstill power deliveries can help you isolate this motion so you can tinker and become familiar with it before you add it to the full swing!

@ConnorOReillyDG Noted. Thank you!
Both Vaino and Niklas use their off arms similar to each other.
Those Finn’s are all conspiring together I say
