  • Dear friends
Before you start watching this episode, I’d like to caution you that although the title is addressing Tropicana but I’m only featuring one particular eatery located at the nurseries under the high-tension wires. I have to mention Tropicana since this is the most significant name I can think of. What’s really important in this intro is the contact of this LaoMaZi Kitchen, Please WhatsApp 6010 2421132 should you decide to patronize them.
Also, there’s an offer from Garry’s product that you must check out: wa.link/sth75o
Thanks, and see you in the next video

Basic, simple and yet so appetizing at Lao Ma Zhi restaurant. The dishes served were some of my favorites and looking at the textures , ingredients and color of each different dish- it really does look very home making type of dishes indeed. Yatt Lau 👌🏽 Mou Tak Deng !!!
Thank you Elmo for this 1 restaurant ( Lao Ma Zhi ) and one homely cooked meal that warms the hearts of many !!! Great job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.

Just to add some fun facts; Sweet potato leaves have good health benefits with its antioxidant properties. In addition to helping with hypertension, sweet potato leaves have been identified as a potent anticancer food source against colon, cervical, breast (Vishnu et al., 2019), prostate, colorectal and lung cancer cells (Feng et al., 2005)- (Gundala et al., 2013) due to their high anthocyanin and polyphenol content (Konczak & Zhang, 2004). Cheap, easy to cook and soft to eat, eat more sweet potato leaves. Cheers.

Plus, sweet potato leaves are easy to plant. With enough space, can provide approximately at least two persons' portion per week but some sweet potato leaves are different species

Speaking of cooking at home, i would usually ask my mom to make a simple scramble egg with onion or steam tofu + stir fried sweet potato leaves. That's a good enough dinner for me. Can't complain 😂

All the dishes shown in this episode are delectable to me, especially the blanched chicken! Couldn't be more true, mom's cooking is always the best! Sadly my mom is no longer with me.
Social media is really a two edged sword, proper utilization of it could invent magic, but it also could make a tragic!
Not a big fan of vegetarian food myself, but "lo hon Jai" is an exception. Very interesting episode indeed, longing to see more recommendations like this in the future.

Thanks for featuring this place ... i hope the food is good but unfortunately my experience with them was not a good one. I tried to make a booking ,... twice ... 1st called them up , the lady on the phone very arrogantly told me off & say to book you must come and personally book , no phone booking. So i went to the restaurant the next day and wanted to book a table for dinner, unfortunately the date selected was fully book, so i asked for the next available date for dinner. The lady ( i assume was the same lady on the phone) , arrogantly told me off saying the date i selected if it was fully book then say another date , do not ask her to show or tell when is the next available date as this restaurant is very popular and she has no time to entertain such request. Upon seeing her reaction , i told her thank you and walked away never to patron this place every again . This happened way before covid struck .

4:15 This would be an excellent announcement to make on your *community* tab, such a shame, 2 months just passed and they had to vacate the premises. Perhaps you could also update their new business locations as they open up again on the *community* tab

@@malaysiafood328 Vendors are alright. My 2 favorite stalls in there are the Nasi Kandar and the Penang mamak mee but sadly the standards have drop after price increase. I remember when the mamak mee 1st open, the boss used to give big chunks of sotong, not anymore despite the price increases. Lots of other places to eat in USJ/SS area now days. I was at that big family restaurant you reviewed in one of your videos. The CKY and Curry mee was pretty good. I took the LRT from USJ 19 Wawasan to SS15. That restaurant is just besides the SS15 LRT very convenient. RM1.10 for Warga emas 😂 No need to find parking
