I recommend not pushing your finger against her tummy to make her step up. This very likely feels uncomfortable for her. I'd rather encourage her by holding a reward (maybe millet?) she can reach by stepping on your finger. And be patient - if she needs time give her some time. Our little Olly used to make the same squeeks when getting good scritches. It always melted my heart and Mellow now does the same.
