A few notes: A few notes: Today we compare SoFi, Capital One 360 and Discover High Yield Savings accounts (HYSA), and which gives the best benefits, and this is coming from someone who's used these organizations in the past. We go over the interest rate, maintenance fees, minimum deposits, and overall, which is better in my personal opinion and experience. Al of this with the hopes of helping you make better decisions for yourself, and improve your personal finance (remember, I'm not a financial advisor).

I have Sofi as my primary with direct deposit set up. I have funds in my HYSA for emergency at 4.6%. I also have Wealthfront at 5.5% for house savings. And lastly have Amex HYSA at 4.36% with emergency funds but am thinking I should close that account and move those funds to either Wealthfront or SOFI. Lastly have Wells Fargo for easy access to ATMS should I be traveling and want straight forward atm access and Zelle.

Im curious; why do you have multiple accounts and not combine a few?

@@alexisidro Amex was my first HYSA and I’m going to move all those funds to SOFI at the end of this month. Will keep SOFI as primary and Wealthfront for emergency funds and home purchase money too at 5.5% APY

Is that $5,000 deposit separate deposits or one deposit?
The way they worded it was seeming like as long as I make deposits of $1,000 or more, and do 5 of those, then i can get the $300. It doesn't really say if I can use the money or not. Do you know?

Capital One is my cup of tea. Best online ,brick & mortar hybrid approach

For sure! Seems like a great option for hybrid approach. Are there any other features you like about it?

I like the fact that I don’t have to have direct deposit with Capital One in order to get high decent APY unlike SoFi . For me, Sofi has too much going on the app UI . I like simplicity and minimalist approach. I don’t like to have all my eggs in one basket ecosystem
