I lived near Clear Lake Iowa for ten years. The Surf was a destination for great concerts. Lots of memorabilia from that day. 😮Visited the crash site. 😢 Even got to play the Surf Ballroom once. Over 2000 people that night. Pretty much a career highlight that night. R.I.P. Buddy, Ritchie and J.P.
