Going to church on Sunday is what brings me joy.i am old and all my friends have passed away. When I go to church and get my hugs, makes my week. I am 93 years old. Today is my husbands 104 thheavenly birthday.
It’s always a good day when you upload a new video. I installed miles upon miles of electric fence in my younger years and walked every mile of that fence several times a year repairing it after storms and checking for shorts.
Just found this channel! My mom and I used to watch you on tv several years ago! She passed away in 2017 and I haven't watched since. She always wanted to live in Alaska. She loved your show!
I really enjoyed watching and am impressed by your respect for the land. Right now our family is getting chased out of our house with no where to go because the farmer 100 ft beside us sprayed round up on 200 acres of hay so he could plant soy beans cheaper. He has a multi million dollar operation. My family is Organic and I don't want my kids to get cancer so we are choosing to be homeless over sitting here and getting poisoned .
Thank you again for an excellent video! I love the way you instruct as you share your life, from the TopLink to the fiberglass splinters! Love the rain and your appreciation of your ancestors too. Your love for your land shines in every video!
I watched each week on the Discovery Channel for years, but I'm enjoying these tidbits of real life even more. Especially since I follow several other homesteaders in Alaska and in the lower 48. Otto needed to harriow the meadows yearly, but did we see or hear of it from Discovery? I don't remember if so.
Good Morning Otto! i Love watching your videos. i miss watching you on tv. watching this videos reminds me that i have to work on my Little troy-built yard tractor so i can mow my lawn and also i have to work in my garden. i Love your chain drag! i Love working on my Family tree and learning their stories. GOD' Bless your whole family. Amen. :)
You have Accomplished more than Any of us will Ever Know but your Channel allows us to Appreciate some of the Work you do on your Farm. A Blessed Life. 👍🙏
I miss my granny and grandpa's farm. That was a long time ago. I, too, love how my ancestors came over from Germany and Scotland. I visited the old home built back in the late 1800 a couple of years ago, which is still standing and kept well preserved. Thanks for the informative video.
Otto is the hardest working man always working on some kind of project. He reminds me of my uncle always figuring things out and building some kind of contraption and welding
Done many hours on a tractor dowing dressing, it's could in England and the breaks we could them independent breaks have a great day from Halifax England
Hey Otto! Another AWESOME video! Every day is a good day~~~ above ground! God Bless your Dad for raising such good kids! You and your family are so cool Otto, keep these great videos coming.... so glad you are on UA-cam!
My dad used a manure spreader. It was shared by a couple of farmers. That's a good deal when farmers come together to share jobs. I know it's different for you. You do have a sizable family to help. God Bless. My dad did build a kind of fork lift for the front of his tractor. That thing came in really handy. 😊😊👋👋❤❤
Loved watching your prep the pasture. I remember doing the same kind of thing when I lived on a place in Nevada for a year. Now that I’m down here in southern Arizona and in my 70s I have the same little trick you do to roll my electric fence back up, it works really great. I really enjoy watching all the little shorts that you put out and I really miss the original show. I hope you stay safe. Stay healthy and God bless from Southern Arizona.
Otto Thank You soo much for sharing your life with us. I love this format soo much better than all that produced stuff !!!! I love the REAL you !!! Keep on keepn the dream alive !!
Thank you. I used to watch your channel never missed an episode until Dish network went up so high I had to cancel. I'm happy I stumbled across your UA-cam channel. Great show!
Otto, Sir, you're going life right. I haven't turned on my TV in 11 years. I'm sure glad to see you and your family going good... As always. We used to burn old box springs and drag them. Keep doing what you're doing.❤❤❤
Hi Otto, my favourite drag is what I call a smudger it's made out of 2 rows of old truck tyres that are held together by chains with steel rods welded through the links once passed through holes drilled in the tyres, it great for flattening down dry dead grass and spreading manure all at the same time and is heavy enough to uproot thistles just prior to flowering and spreading seed
Love the channel! Discovery is missing out, but we’re not.
Otto, the man, the myth, the legend!
Thanks to Cameraman August for doing a Great job. The Mountain View’s look Spectacular and makes ALL your Hard Work keeping Nature looking Beautiful. 🙏

Hi Otto how’s your lovely wife? Hope she’s well. I’m glad you started a channel.

That's how I feel too - I think I like these videos more than the Discovery Channel show.
Always put back what you take out and you'll never be left wanting. Nice one Otto.
Hello Kilchers. This is so much better than the TV show, I’m glad that you decided to keep going and do this UA-cam channel. All the best from the UK
So glad Otto is back to his fit self after his near death experience with a rogue cow.

I’m glade I found your channel! I always wanted to seem more of the farming aspect in your life that the show didn’t display.
Almost your neighbor at one time...
Almost bought a cabin at Caribou Lake, but the wife got 'cold feet' about it...
I'm curious about the electric fence, it looks like nylon rope. Enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your story. 80 year old guy in Georgia. 🤠
Done many hours on a tractor dowing dressing, it's could in England and the breaks we could them independent breaks have a great day from Halifax England
