- कभी इंडियन क्रिकेट टीम की जर्सी पर चमकने वाला बायजूज़, इन दिनों अपनी चमक खोता जा रहा है. 2011 में बनी बायजू रवींद्रन की कंपनी बायजूज़ के लिए फ़िलहाल सबकुछ ठीक नहीं चल रहा है. भारत में कंपनी छंटनी कर रही है और विदेश में कर्ज़ को लेकर क़ानूनी लड़ाई लड़ रही है. बायजूज़ के सबसे बड़े इंवेस्टर प्रोसेस ग्रुप ने भी इस कंपनी की वैल्यूएशन को 22 अरब डॉलर से घटाकर 5.1 अरब डॉलर कर दिया है. यह गिरावट 75 फ़ीसद से ज़्यादा है. आइए जानते हैं बायजूज़ के आकाश तक पहुंचने और फिर भंवर की फंसने की कहानी.

70-80 percent of Funds was used in advertising, acquiring companies, marketing & expanding while only 20-30percent was used in hiring teaching staff, preparing course material, innovation in learning..so it was never a question how it will fall..It was when it will fall

That also after worldcup win.The brand value of Messi increased after that win. Imagine the amount of Money Byjus offered him whereas employees crying for their salaries.

Byjus is going to be the enron of India. I saw there was something fishy in 2018-19 by the incredible abnormal growth they were having due to insane optimism. There business model never had the capacity to become a billion dollar company. It was flawed from the begining. Everyone was praising byjus and their marketing jingoism. Now when the funding is drying up and no profits to show, the things that were swept under the carpet has been uncovered. It has a lot to do with the inside politics of venture capitalism and the manipulation happening in the Indian education industry. Byjus was trying to dominate the entire coaching nexus. A lot of politicians are involved too. The strategy backfired.
The companies which byjus acquired were having much better work culture before the acquisition. But after acquisition employees working in the respective companies were all deceived, disrespected,became slaves, continuously tortured.
Every month it was a new norm to get delayed salary.
Hatts off to the byjus.

Byju’s approached me in 2018. On taking a small test of my child, the sales man convinced us that the child needs coaching and for that we have to pay 18K initially. However, I did not buy the subscription. Later, in 2020 my child joined Akash for NEET. There was nothing extra ordinary in teaching but only we joined the band wagon. Meanwhile SRK was in ad saying that Fall in love in learning. I had pulled for such idiot caption on their Fb page. Surprisingly, that caption was later removed. In 2021, Byju had taken over Akash with same teachers and study material. AKASH already has very mediocre teachers and copy paste from web sources kind of study material of a poor quality. However, in two years time, we had paid 2,04000 for such stuff only to learn that without all such coaching students can manage all entrance tests just by attending college classes regularly. The PG B. Ed. teachers at higher secondary level are far more better than AAkash and Byju. Just by seeing continuous ads of these education selling brands parents and children have only FOMO that they may not be able to qualify entrance tests. It’s a MYTH. Be aware.

I taken a course for my sister in byjus online classes, i paid an advance amount of Rs.12,000. due to some issues I cancelled a course within 3 days. The byjus sales man said that within 15 days the amount will be refund. It's happened 2 months before, still didn't get amount. Byjus pressuring me to pay EMI amount. No use of reaching byjus costomer care service. I completely stuck what to do further process. Please 🙏 let me know if any possible way to get refund legally...🙏🙏🙏

Anything may get modernised, but student's brains will follow laws of evolution. Padhai classes mein hi hogi, woh bhi real teachers ke dwara, woh bhi conventional ways mein. Online wala process kisi kaam ka nahi hota... I'm a teacher and know this thing better.
