I'm super inspired and excited to start my own manga! I've been working on my art skill everyday for almost 7 months straight now. Watching this just gets me more excited to start on manga. I just need to get a drawing pad that allows for pin-point pressure and a screen to look exactly at what I'm doing instead of staring at my monitor screen drawing blindly. Very very excited!
I don't know... Screen tablets have the problem of your hands hiding whatever the hell you're drawing, so... Imma stick to my Intuos for now, though I might decide to switch to a Cintiq at some point if I find that I want to have a computer on the go.
It's been a year ik, but, u also need to practice story telling, designing characters, both look-wise and personality-wise, you need to know world building, manga layout etc, 2 years could be enough but I don't think so

@@Tenchigo100 oh damn, I really love ur style actually, it's really cool, but one thing I've noticed is that you are using pc Fonts for ur comics and it looks really off if it's not done properly and you are a good example, Im not saying this to hate but I've read my share of manga and comics and only one used the default pc font and it still looks worse than if he used a stylized font, so what I'm saying is, u might want to either change the font your using for ur manga or just practice it more cuz as of now it looks rather off

I pretty much already had the program and the Wacom tablet to do the work and yet i never got started on the digital illustration side of thing, so i'm pushing to change that and share more of my progress for next year. My story board is pretty much planned out from beginning to end with a near decade worth of material, for 2020 my resolution is to finally show that progress of my story to the world as well as start being a part of in attendance of my local convention artist alleys.
I’m getting this soon just because it has auto color lol. It’s better than Medibang, which is what I use (cause it’s free). I don’t really have an art style but I draw manga style arts usually and now I’m trying to change my style of drawing to more American cartoon-ish style like Cartoon Network and such. I can’t color so if I draw a “comic”, I can use the auto color to help me a lot. And if I draw manga, I will have more tools to use.
Been using CSP for a couple years now and only recently started using it for comics, as I’m doing that professionally now. One thing my clients were concerned about was if the text/frames created in CSP were vector so printing would be accurate. I imagine that because CSP is a program dedicated to this exact industry their tools would be very printer friendly. Regardless, I think I’ll be using Affinity Publisher going forward to composite the comics and simply make all the artwork inside CSP. Thanks for the video! Love this program and it’s great to see someone making Manga use it to its potential!

Well, I draw with Krita (mostly because its great assistant tools that really help with getting perspective right and because it's free), but you do you.
csp is just such a powerful piece of software all around. I used affinity designer for drawing before but the programm was prone to lagging on more complicated illustrations but I can go crazy high with dpi or resolution on csp and never experience any slowdowns...
I would use this, but I'm too used to the program known as GIMP. I've already developed a strong skillset for that program, and it'd be annoying trying to learn another program's interface lol
I love manga studio. I have ex manga studio 4.. I still have so many lovely memories.. when I didn't understand how to do the color layer.. my main cover of my manga is when I used ex manga studio.. using sketch colors to use colors and I drew it with no tablet.. no mouse and no upload. So I am very proud of it.. regardless that I have all that stuff now.

I tend to make a lot of 2 page establishing shots, so having that as an option, in addition to having a preview mode for all the pages (cover, back, and spine,) is insanely useful. Also, you can publish through clipstudio, if you have that tier. It's a monthly service for IOS and the Japanese version, but it's a onetime purchase for the international pc version. You can upgrade to it at any time, and discounts from goldenweek and such apply to that upgrade cost.
Man, I'm a total beginner, like I can't draw traditionally, but want to get into digital drawing as well, and this video caught me by surprised, so many useful tips and tricks, and it all went sooo fast in 22min, keep it up man, will see if I can support by purchasing and sharing your work. Subbed

I used Manga studio for the longest time and it was great, then I realized that it was Clipstudio that was its predecessor, I'm gonna get it for myself or for Christmas either way I made up in my mind I'm going to get serious about my comic

A way for drawings to pop out is the polyline frame tool with add to selected folder and unclick draw border.

CSP is the future, man. I bought the EX version a while back just for the animation workflow and I have never looked back. It's so good.
