I recently looked at the sportster S. Nice modern looks, and great performance. I can see why the younger riders might like them but it did not feel like a Harley to me. I went with a 2022 very low mileage 48 instead.
@@jakedee4167 It had a street bike feel, and the sound is subdued. This could be a selling point for some. Honestly my 48 with Vance & Hines pipes is a bit loud for heading to work at 6am. There is no mistaking it for anything but a HD from 3 blocks away though.
Thanks for the feed back 1st of all, I'm thinking the style an look of the new one is solid .. tho .. my best mates dad has a 2022 48 an that's thing is insanity! I'm trying to get as much info I can about both those bikes ..... before I change my mind an get a fxdx
In my opinion, without the DB killer it’s sound really aggressive, with the DB killer installed it’s a perfect balance tone is smooth, no rattle can sound!! First ride with cobra exhaust there is a noticeable difference.

Do you have an issues with heat off exhaust?
Did not go for any long rides yet. Not sure, it’s the OEM heat shield setup, I’m guessing it will be the same amount as stock.
Is the decel pop and unburned fuel igniting in the muffler supposed to be selling this system?
I dont know, didn’t know it did that before installing, will tune it out eventually.
