We are back! And what could be a better return than a highly requested genre: Melodic Dubstep! Today, Will shows you how to create huge sounding, spectrum filling chord stacks in FL Studio’s native plugin Harmor as well as Serum. What are your requests for upcoming videos?
This video just took my song I've been struggling with all week to a new level. I knew the chords were the problem the whole time and all these tips just changed my whole mindset and how to make my chords for now on in melodic dubstep!
Surge is a free synth Its unison is unique, you can switch from the usual cents to semitones and you can extend the values both to get some heavy detune
One question, do you hear any difference between the OTT plugin and the OTT in serum FX? Because you could just use the OTT plugin and not serum FX in my opinion or do you hear any difference?
Every compressor has a slightly different algorithm so there will always be a bit of a difference between the Xfer OTT, the Serum multiband compressor, and Abletons original OTT, but for the most part they all do the same thing so I wouldn't stress about which one to use. I feel like I can crank the Serum multiband compressor louder without clipping, but its mostly just up to taste.👍

Love the compatibility for any user! Really makes things convenient.
Ay Will, are you able to make a melodic dubstep video? This video helped out a lot btw.
Your voice is so much comporting. Thanks for amazing tuts.
quick tip: instead of right clicking the mute/unmute button and then selecting solo, you can just crtl + left click it
Can you make melodic dubstep chord stacks using Vital??
Yeah you can since serum is very similar to vital. You just might need to do some post processing to get that right sound if you are using vital.
17:50 maybe fruity stereo shaper would work. You can use it as effect in mixer and it can make stereo for you.
I love Harmor and Harmless. Been using them for 3 years now!
Can anyone tell me the song name if it is a song that was used hear 3:39 - 3:42
i got a ghost hack ad during this video... lol

Can u make this tutorial only with VITAL ?
why do you add 5 billion octaves to chords and then low cut them? just dont make them at all?
Probably only men and boys here
