    both of these have been proven afield & on our pattern testing so i am stoked to put them side by side with as many loads as possible to see just where the difference is

    I’d open that up to a .675-.690 and see how it looked. That’s a bit overkill for a 12 GA pattern unless you’re hunting field birds. I love that all this work you guys have put in has seemingly uncovered the secret sauce that is 8/9 blends. It seems like every one from every company in 12-28 GA just hammers.

      8/9 is just king ahahah
      It really is a perfect blend and you can easily adjust the style of pattern you get out of them

    Those patterns are very close to the same size. Just more shot in the 3in. Good showing for both BCO blends!

    The only way I am shooting my 12 gauge again is if it is needed as a back up gun. And if I was going to do that, I would probably shoot the 2 3/4 inch, 1 5/8 ounce load. Other than that, I am sticking with the 20 gauge. Both of those loads are good enough for me.

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  5 днів тому +1

      Right! I really didn’t think the 2 3/4 load was bad at all but I did understand moose’s points

      I sent them the 3.5" 2-3/4oz with #8/#9 as well.

    • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
      @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA  5 днів тому

      We do but with tss or even with lead 3.5’s aren’t worth the cost they just do not pattern as good as 3 inch shells regardless we do still pattern them and have a ton already on the channel

    Enough with the dumb patterning test seasons over. Bring out the bows and broadheads.

      One just has to realize the variety we film keeps us extremely busy, especially with the additions I made to our archery tests I’d rather start with then included than start and change once they got here
      You’ll get plenty of tests but we film for tons of different hunters many like me don’t care much about whitetail and would rather pattern waterfowl/turkey setups year round but we aim for a clean mix to keep everyone happy
      It’s really hard to film everything evenly
