The biggest problem in the xiaomi phones are the ads in the builtin apps. The popup ads automatically comes when you use xiaomi phones even without installing 3rd party apps which is quite disappointing
Their actual flagship killer was the Mi 9T Pro which is on par with 11 Pro Max and Note 10 and it's only $400. This one is too expensive. It's amazing, but expensive.
Because of the base model of the Samsung Galaxy S20 having the Exynos chip and not having 5G here in the Pholippines at $1000 (Php 49,990) and Huawei P40 series not having the Google services, I think Mi 10 Pro is the best option for me.

It does not have IP68. It's a P2i waterproofing. The P2i waterproof of the Xiaomi Mi 10 series belongs to the waterproof principle of "nano-coating". To put it simply, in the last link of mobile phone production, atomization coating is used in the position of a mobile phone circuit board, components, USB interface, shell and so on, if water repellent coating is used to make the solid line partially waterproof.
Every Xiaomi has an App Drawer. It's just not enabled by default. Go to "Settings" - Tap "Home Screen" - Tap "With App Drawer". That's it. UA-camrs always mention it as a negative. Well it does have one. There's also a Theme store to change the iOS(ish) icons and overall look of Android to your liking for free. And even if it didn't, you could change the launcher and put a default pixel launcher, poco launcher if you don't want to config anything. Or If you like to personalize your phone there's always Nova Launcher.

Wait 6 months. It'll be significantly cheaper. I did the same for the Mi9 and got lucky to get a cheap Mi10 Pro. I can definitely tell you its an awesome phone!!! Just wouldn't pay full price for it at the moment as Xiaomi isn't a well recognized brand and won't retain resale value!

In the day where flagship "killers" are now flagship, yes, just _flagship,_ the Mi 10 Pro is following the trend. However, i'm still wondering why they changed: - All-screen, from the pop-up camera/hidden camera. - Not-so-expensive prices - I couldn't call this a trend, but it is now a trend, no 3.5 mm jack. Some people are getting used to it, but, me, representing people who use mid-range phones, cannot get on to non-headphone jack phones. "Courage" is just another joke in the internet back in 2016. - To be honest, are macros better than telephotos? So, i wanted to make up with this with the following: - Stereo speakers are, like, the overrated sense from Xiaomi. Everytime I opened Instagram, a video of Mi Academy showed me why they got DXOMark Audio no.1, because of the _symmetrical design_ and _7-magnet design._ But, to be honest, how about the jack's au- oh wait, you don't have it. Do you really need to count on stereo speakers but not the other aspects of the audio, Xiaomi? - Cameras are more or less the same story as the Mi Note 10 Pro. Aside from the camera, it still has a great OLED (albeit only 60Hz). You will lose stereo and flagship chipset (730), but hey there's Mr. Jack. Also, there are better selfie cameras in the markets of the flagship "killer". - I'm kinda surprised if the phone only supports 50W of charging. Oppo is much faster than this (Find X2 Pro), as well as Realme X50 Pro (hey brothers!) with the Find X2 Pro proofed 98% in 30 minutes. But the Mi 10 Pro has a better score in endurance, so you decide, better endurance or charging. - In other specifications, it's always flagship worthy, do not ask about it. - EDIT: One of the highest brightness for such a phone. The conclusion is that, in emerging markets, maybe a Realme X50 Pro is a more sensible (yet cheaper) option. It offers more value for the money, that's for sure. Realme is the new king in town for midrangers and maybe it will surpass Xiaomi in popularity. Then again, maybe I am wrong, because it's just my opinion. And finally, please don't kill the term "flagship killer". Problem for Xiaomi isn't convincing people they produce good phones with great specs or whether they have the ability to up the level of hardware quality on their phones. The biggest issue they have is convincing people that they are more than just a wallet friendly Android OEM. Unfortunately, changing your brand conception is something that's far more difficult to evolve when you have previously sold phones with fantastic hardware at low prices.

512 GB of memory are not available for the global version, despite it makes so much sense with 4K video and a 108MP camera. Also, differently to the Chinese version, the global version does not have Dual-SIM capabilities. So, for the global version we have to pay 50% more than the price the pay in China, and we get much less value! Well done Xiaomi, shame!!! 🤮
The Mi 10 Pro is not really a "flagship" without an IP rating. Doing away with the 3.5mm jack, microSD card, and being limited to 1080p is one thing, but if you're going to have the price that high (I've seen £719 for a 256GB and £829 for a 512GB version), customers should be _demanding_ an official IP rating.
That brings up an interesting question, what good does it do to have a low res telephoto and a MUCH MUCH higher res regular camera. In other words, is a 2x 8mp telephoto any better than a cropped 48mp regular photo?
To answer your question, NO. In many tests of higher Megapixels crop the only benefit you get is when you hit 3x and above anything below that and you might as well just crop from the main sensor
Any owners here? Realised that the 4G or mobile data disconnects after awhile but the signal bar is at full strength. Tried restarting and switching on/off airplane mode to no avail. Temp fix is to swap sim cards. No issues with sim card thouggh as it works with other phones. Any idea how to fix this?

2 years in and my Mi 10 Pro is still snappy! Can play Genshin Impact on high with very minimal to no stutter. Camera is also great 👍 no regrets here

There actually is an appdrawer you just have to activate it in the settings. It was introduced with MI UI 11

To answer your question, NO. In many tests of higher Megapixels crop the only benefit you get is when you hit 3x and above anything below that and you might as well just crop from the main sensor
@@CallMeRabbitzUSVI That's kind of what I thought, so really an insanely high resolution main sensor can negate the basic zoom.
Any owners here? Realised that the 4G or mobile data disconnects after awhile but the signal bar is at full strength. Tried restarting and switching on/off airplane mode to no avail. Temp fix is to swap sim cards. No issues with sim card thouggh as it works with other phones. Any idea how to fix this?

I have the S10 but my next phone will probably be a Xaomi. And here in eastern Europe the price for this phone is around $527. Of course some places may rip you off depends where you buy it.
