I feel this came out at a good time (for me at least). I’m in a rut, doubting if my desire for marriage will ever be met. This is a good reminder about love and what it means!
Okay, I am making this post without watching the video. Ready, I read the title and the FIRST thing that popped into my mind was 🎵“What is Love? Baby, don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me, no more”🎵. Congratulations you now have this song stuck in your head too.
Familiar with the four loves from the Greek, which has proven useful in life this far. Thank you for sharing “love” from St. Thomas Aquinas’ point of view, it’s nice to hear it in a different way. Illuminative and very helpful to help order things, especially the way the virtues are used a few times to illustrate some of these loves. Good stuff 😊
This is REALLY cool. I was just in discussion about what love is. Of course I did go straight into 1 Corinthians 13 4-7 for the straight up action defintion. But this is cool. I try not to use the term incorrectly but it's so often often used to express something you really like, but that cultural use of the word love to is degrading of what love is. In Scripture it even says God is love so... I try and be careful to not say, " oh i love that ice cream" etcetera.
Amazing video. Great explanation of that love thats fueling us toward completion and happiness as that response of having that which further perfects us. An important lesson there as well as the subsequent meanings of love
Love you, Father Gregory!!!!❤❤❤

I deny Jesus
But Jesus does not deny you
That's your pride speaking. Prayers for you .
@@imago9059 You don't know that about this person. Please refrain from that kind of assumption/judgement.
"those who deny Me before men, I shall deny before My Father"
Oh brother I also thought I did too, but you cannot deny what you do not know
