I don't think they were feelin' this interview too much. David didn't even mention Cesar doing lead vocals at times. By the way where is Cesar or Conrad. Conrad is very quiet...but he is a very gifted bassist. His bass playing paired up with the drums really gives many of the Los Lobos numbers a lot of its drive especially the Rancheras and Corridas. I remember punk rockers slam dancing to Anselma at the Street Scene in San Diego, 27 years ago circa '86. I'll never forget it as long as I live.
Don't quote me on this, but I have a feeling it was Richie Valens' uncle-? I'm pretty sure it was a relative of his because I have seen him sit in with them before at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz several years ago. I honestly cannot say which family member it is, I am guessing on the uncle part.
"Hi, Internet" Classic! :) I think celebrating 40 years at Summerfest should be tops on the list (you forgot that you love Milwaukee because that is where Michelle is!)
The questions flashed so quick I had to rewind pause them while they were on to read them. If I just went by what they had to say I still couldn't figure out what the questions were. Some of the questions were alright but I could care less about many of them. I think the band felt the same way, like the one about writing songs after the banquets. Look at Louie savoring it over....like is this really worth a serious answer.
