We get up close with Cory Monteith, star of FOX's highly anticipated series, "Glee." He gives us insight into his Canadian upbringing, the quirky jobs he did to get by, and how hes preparing for the surefire fame thats coming his way. Hosted by Michelle Marie. Distributed by Tubemogul.
It's crazy that despite the fame and love from everyone around him, he clearly never felt worthy or deserving of it. He was fundamentally good- he fought hard everyday to say and do the right thing. You nailed it - he was SO much more than his struggles. As long as he was working or with Lea he was protected. Whenever he returned to his hometown alone, all bets were off . He carried his past like a cross, but tragically he couldn't see that he moved so far beyond it

Cory is just as amazing as thought. What a sweet, charming, eloquent & intelligent young man. I'm impressed with him as a person. He knows who he is & is very humble. That says volumes.
When he was working - he DIDN'T drink or go out or do drugs. Just when he went back home he would relapse. When a person goes back tot eh place where bad issues arose from, it is very easy to relapse. I know, I live in the Devils Playground out here.
Cory will keep on inspiring people on a whole new level - to go get the treatment they need and surround themselves with love and positive light and people who support them no matter what.
He is so down to earth ! i really like it !!

not only is he talented but i'm also glad that there is FINALLY a young actor who is talented, down to earth, isn't a sloppy drunk/ drug addict, and is humble. a good role model for young people = ]

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed this. The same shift in uneasiness when speaking of the subject matter shows in the interview 2/20 with George Stroumboulopoulos . When asked about why he's chosen sobriety and what keeps him on a straight path, he gives very vauge answers and it's almost like you could see right through him. He was so much more than his struggles. I wish he would of known that.

He seems like such a nice guy! He seems to know what it takes to be a really good actor, and wants to make those steps. Cory seems mature and funny. He's cool and hot haha. He just seems like a really good person.

High school doesn't make you "smart". It teaches you the skills to study at a higher level education and eventually to specialize in a particular area.

I think he is a really nice and good heard person! He is Funny and he know what hes talking about ;) I really want to meet him! Not only because his Hot,it will be such an owner to have a conversation with Cory Monteith :D
When drinking comes up @ 5:45 you can totally see his facial expression subtlety change. The stark disparity between his vanilla clean cut public image and very dark reality must have taken a toll on him. Most addicts have an intense feeling of unworthiness, that must have been amplified X 100 for Cory - he was living a lie and he knew it. It's so sad that he couldn't find the middle ground in all of this.
I hope he finds the peace in death that he couldn't find in life
