I truly think this story would make an insane movie. like a mature movie. it would have to be done so well and give it justice. right up there with lord of the rings. it's so allegorical and powerful, it covers depression, despair, evil, even like intrusive thoughts. it covers every aspect of life in such a beautiful way. I love that he didn't shy from the dark elements, because they are just as real as the light and truth, and if we pretend like evil isn't real or ignore or hide from darker stories, or good stories with dark tones that is, we are missing out on some of the most powerful stories ever. and if we let darkness manifest in the dark and don't bring it into the light it will only grow. guess what I'm trying to say is it's the stories with the hardest journeys that make them worth it, it makes the end sweater, the joy more real, and it is an example of the pain we all must go through in this life, but we must stay strong in the lord, or it was all for nothing.

I saw this in school (I homeschooled a few years lol) and thought it was boring at first...until it got into the dark bits. The artwork is superb and the story just proves that you can still be a God fearing man and still point out the mature/dark nature of the evils that surround us.

"In shadows deep, where pilgrims roam,
Each heart seeks out its heavenly home.
Through trials fierce, and paths unknown,
They walk by faith, not faith alone.
The voices rise, a thankful song,
To praise the Lord, to right the wrong.
With every step, through joy or pain,
They journey on, in hope, again.
From childhood's awe to wisdom's grace,
They run the race, they seek His face.
For though the road be dark or bright,
The end is sure, eternal light."

    No Other Gospel
    remember Galatians 1:6-7

You wanting to believe that God isn't "real", doesn't make Him any less real. The reality of God is in creation alone.
When we love our sin, we run and hide from God like a criminal runs and hides from the police.
I truly hope you do turn from yourself and surrender to Christ Jesus, as we all must do to feel God's love, peace, joy and so many more blessings.
This is coming from someone who has dealt with a lot of pain and suffering in my life, yet I honestly do feel God's presence right here in my own spirit. I don't deserve Him and just so grateful to and for Him.

    • @Samsstuff10
      @Samsstuff10 10 місяців тому +1

Here's a revised version of your text with improved grammar and clarity:
there is so much proof of Gods existence. I see you must have had some sort of spiritual abuse, and if you have, I am so so sorry. I have too. but dude, the thing to consider is: what is the alternative? Not believing in God is just as unfathomable as believing in Him may seem to you. and without him there is no point.
One thing I believe you should contemplate is that Christianity isn't about instilling fear; it isn't about God condemning us to hell. We, as humans, have broken His law, and we are lost without Him. He didn't impose this upon us; rather, He granted us free will. That's the crux-we aren't puppets. Yet, sin without consequences implies that anything goes-murder, rape, anything. If there is no God, life loses its purpose. However, the fact remains that nothing could exist without Him. The evidence of the Big Bang doesn't disprove God; rather, it suggests that there was a creation event, which, to me, aligns with the concept of God.
I'll keep you in my prayers, but I want you to know that I empathize with your perspective. I've been where you are, I've gone through a lot of spiritual pain. we exposed our corrupt cult of a church for what it was and lost like everything. I've had to re learn everything and have had a lot of very painful mental battles. You might think I'm naive, just following my upbringing, but that's not the case. I over think and research like everything. I've concluded that I can't know everything-why God created the world, or why suffering exists. or why realty is the way it is. However, when every other aspect of life points towards God, despite my inability to fully grasp it, there must be something to it.
so, I choose to live my life believing in God, I will live my live knowing there is a God, knowing the bible is true, and separating the false religious teaching of cultists and heretics who twist Gods word to fit there consuming and spiritually abusive cult which is sadly a lot of churches today. It's so important to study the Bible independently. I may be rambling, but if, hypothetically, you're right and there is no God, then we'll simply perish, and our souls will cease to exist or wander endlessly in space. But for me, the richness and complexity of life pushes me to believe in God. True love, emotion, and healing is only found in Jesus. I urge you to contemplate and pray about it. everyone now adays are looking for something to fill that void. but I'm telling you there isn't anything like the true love of Jesus, a lot of my friends have Gone through so much spiritual abuse and come out on the other side so much healthier, No religion, just the truth, and a relationship with Jesus. also saying someone fabricated Jesus to cope with suffering Is BS. when things get their worst, I bet the strongest atheist would shout out to God. it's when emotions are at their strongest that we feel the truth and implying that someone just made him up to cope with suffering is so disrespectful. you're implying that they aren't smart enough to research and look into stuff for themselves, you're saying their real experiences is BS, because you believe you have reached peak smarts and can't be topped, and every Christian is just delusional. at least respect them as humans that may have researched and truly looked into this stuff for themselves, even if you disagree. Christianity is the very old, and the bible is the oldest book, so someone in suffering didn't just come up with the idea of God to cope and saying that is bull and just a bad argument.
