Shout out to your mom, she seems to be everywhere helping things move along, keeping all you kids (you'll always be her babies) in line. You're all lucky to have her! Great video.
Jan , I'm very happy your back at YT. I enjoy you and smile and sense of humor. In a way I'm glad you took some time off. I'm sure you needed a mental holiday from all the extra it requires to keep things running like a well oiled machine. That being said you put a 😊 on my face. I have started watching your sisters Goat channel. I'll let you go for now. Tom in Minneapolis, MN.
Can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos, even when you are doing things I have seen already. Specially liked the cheese project part. This is a wonderful new addition to your farm enterprise. With you fine people, it will be a success. I look forward to ordering cheese if possible. Looking good up your way. SO SO glad that you are back young man. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jan for the new episode. Good luck with the new cheese company. May it be a year of great prosperity in the crop fields and better numbers in the dairy. 👍👍
No more frozen doors, iced up feed bunks or foggy barns. I am betting the fact that you have a whole room full of sampler cheese does not bother you at all. Mirjam learned from the best and given time I am sure she will produce an excellent Howda. Thanks for the look at the lagoon, I knew it must be getting close. You might be in for some fun times ahead.
I absolutely love the the way the farm family is into more products with each family member it’s extremely exciting to watch. Thanks so much for sharing your time and family with us. I truly love how incredibly interesting and informative it is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I really think it’s great to make the cheese at the dairy. Brilliant in fact. Everyone is moving to a farm to table mindset when able and this is another way to get a product that is completely tracked. Good on you and bonus is your sister and mom get some fancy new outfits. Hahahaha
Jan’ thanks for posting another video looks like you have a lot of work to do around the Farm I wish you all the best, prayers for your mom and sister to get their cheese venture going sooner than later’ and yes I would like to see a close up of your truck . May God Bless your entire family and farm 🙏🇺🇸 🇨🇦🙏.
Miryam and your mum look so alike. 'I hope there cheese making is successful. It seems very labour intensive. What about considering a biodigester. Spring has sprung here in UK too. The hedges are turning green. No frost forecast for a while for us. Must be nice to see the snow go.
A biodigester would be an expensive investment, and would use up the manure they use on their fields -- then they would have to buy expensive fertilizer for the fields.
@@timothymbonham4453 No it wouldn't. They'd only lose about 5 to 10%. There's a by-product created called digestate. It's better quality fertilizer than raw manure.
Great farm 🚜 you guys do an awesome job ,state of the art farm ,cows receive the best care awesome nutrition, well kept barns, excellent ventilation, awesome beds for the cows Great farm 14:0914:1114:1214:1513:5913:57 keep the videos coming
Sure hope the cheese making business takes off for you. Great call on leaving the tarps on until you take out the insulation panels. I just had new tires put on my truck today and I cannot imagine what your tractor tires cost. Sure would enjoy a review on your truck. Best of luck to Nic in his new venture.
Glad to see the cheese making in development. Look forward to seeing it go on sale and available to the public. Love good cheese. Hope medium cheddar is on the menu!!!
Spring is in the air indeed. That's a nice farm your family has there. I have a question regarding your nice smooth bedding in the stalls.. what make is your skidsteer power rake? I got a dairy in Ontario.
Don't count your chickens just yet lol... We had days of almost plus 20 degree weather in Ontario in February already, and just like that it changed back to Winter weather and then Spring and then Winter again lol
Would I ever love some Curd cheese. growing up as a kid in the country there was a small cheese factory across the road. We would get free samples. best of luck ladies.
Cheers to Mirjam for creating her niche on the Farm! Nothing will beat the video of your Dad driving your brand new truck but an update would be great now that you have had it a while.
I'd enjoy a review of the Raptor. Anything impress you more then expected? I enjoy the cheese updates and hope to see more. Thanks for another great video .
Oh Jan, you do live dangerously, don't you !! I know, here in Montreal, to never second guess mother nature. A snow storm is due overnight tonight with 15 to 20cm. Ontario is the weather maker, depending on which side of the province you live on. When Sask froze, we were on the milder side. Now you are into real Double Digits. And it's gonna snow tonight. UGH !! We have not seen serious double digits as of yet, and not till next week. I won't de-winterize here until we get a week of double digits steady.
Lucky you. Here in Ireland its been raining almost consistently since last July. Most farmers are out of or nearly out of silage and ground is too wet to let cows out to graze. Theres at least two weeks rain forecast. The joys of it 😅
Hey Jan!! If you're going to do a review of your truck and need to clean it up, you should head over to Manitoba and get the Detail Geek to detail your truck. That would be a sweet crossover
The cheese looks fantastic the aprons and hair nets not so 😂great video jan I really hope the cheese goes well for your sister if you need rain I can send you some from England we’ve had enough for ever now 🤣👍
Love the Channel and the videos as always. Watched you from the beginning! Your sister is doing great on the cheese making. Want to make a suggestion for her. Have her drain the whey out completely from the curd and then cookie cutter them up by flipping the mold with the screen in . Just makes it a bit easier so you’re not having to hand scoop the curd out and sifting through it. Made cheese for years so like I said just a suggestion and we made Gouda as well. Tell her keep up the great work!
Jan jongeman, How it the soil fertility improving since you are adding so much organics to it with the massive amount of manuer Can you say something about it
I’m keen to find out more about the raptor, we have them here in Scotland but I’m guessing it’s the tamed down version, ours are 3ltr petrol v6 290bhp roughly
Uh I like cheese, and I like to drink that liquid that come from cheese! In Croatia that liquid we call SIROTKA .I don't know English meaning. I think it is WHEY but not sure
Hey Jan I’m probably too late to make this comment, but I would certainly be interested in hearing what you think of the Raptor having owned it for a while. Thanks bud!
Spring has sprung??? If the tires still hold air, I would keep using them. It might even be worth getting an extra set of rims to put new tires on so that you could switch the old tires on and off depending on what you were doing. If you are mainly driving on the road and don't need much traction, you might as well be running the old tires.
I think you might be confused or you don't realize how easy it can be done. If you have tires mounted on an extra set of rims, you would pretty much only need an impact wrench and a socket to switch them. You would probably want someone helping to line the rim up with the holes, but it would not take any special tools. You would not even need a Jack as you could drive the inner wheel up onto a 3 or 4 inch thick plank to lift the outer tire off the ground. To help you better understand what I am saying, you would essentially run the bald tires on the outside of the duals most of the time and just put on the spare new tires and rims if you really needed good traction like plowing in a muddy field. You would not be switching them back-and-forth on a daily or weekly basis, but you might do it a few times during the year.
Mirium needs her own cheese making channel ❤ I love all your family farm lives
Cheese Guinea Pig tees.....
Cheese channel, cheese channel , moooooo

NICE TRUCK
I am a cheesemaker maker. I make Gouda, Cheddar, and fontina. Those are the good hoops. Very nice for pressing
I bought my 4 year old grandson a diecast model of a Raptor because Jan had one. He has been a big fan of your videos for 2 years.

After seeing how much fun your Dad had when the truck was brand new I think you should have him do part of your truck review video.
I think Papa Dutch needs a raptor as well
Hey Jan!! If you're going to do a review of your truck and need to clean it up, you should head over to Manitoba and get the Detail Geek to detail your truck. That would be a sweet crossover

Would you guys Consider building another lagoon for extra storage?
The cheese looks fantastic the aprons and hair nets not so 😂great video jan I really hope the cheese goes well for your sister if you need rain I can send you some from England we’ve had enough for ever now 🤣👍
Actually, I prefer people preparing my food to be wearing aprons, hair nets and such hygiene clothing.
That is too funny. What you said about what's on today's episode on how it's made.😅

Those spring temps for you are New Zealand winter temps for most of the country - that is why all our livestock stay outside all year round
All I want to see is the first dent or scratch. haha

Cheese shop on a dairy?!? Impossible! --- kidding, it's has been so for thousands of years - good luck Mirium!
Wheatland Tractor is a 'Massey Ferguson 2000 Series specialist' ! Fantastic. Standard Canadian. :)
I’ll buy some cheese when it becomes for sale and in production factory
Excellent video as always but you really need one or two wireless microphones, In some parts we can barely hear you
I would like to taste the cheese.
I would definitely buy cheese and fresh cheese curds if you get a website up and going . You can’t find fresh cheese curds anywhere’s in Florida.

It's better for your business to make your own chess, well done. From Yemen
2:37 jan some people are just born operator's and don't need as much help as others😊
True he had great teachers in his parents, and he started early
I don’t think people would complain about making a video for your truck
"but you guys got to remember we're never going to sell any cheese made in here..." So, you are giving it way for free? I want some!!
🇨🇦
Have you ever tried cheese curds them are pretty good
