To qualify for the easiest course in the country the criteria we set was it had to be a mens tee set, 18 holes and 18 individual greens. For anyone that wants to go try this course, it is the Men's "Red" Tee Set as officially listed by England Golf, playing 4,500 yards. Let me know how you get on and enjoy!
I have great memories of Oakland Park. My Granddad, who got me into golf is a member, and therefore I have played it many times over the years, (less so recently). As you say, if you can hit the ball a fair distance the course becomes a lot easier, but a relatively challenging course for those who can't hit the ball as far. My Granddad still plays here every Monday with his Monday's Old Gentlemen's Group, also nicknamed the moody old gits!
Ur savage at golf mate . I’m trying but struggling right now . I might get par if I’m lucky. I always scuff my driver or second shot . Keep up the good work
I was playing behind you when you shot it!! Glad to think you agree that it is actually quite a test with especially how tight it is :) Would love to see you come back and see what you think of it off the whites!! Great video :)
Great video. Subscribed. Playing a easy course for the first time still means some holes will be trickier but once you know the do's/dont's on these holes, they become easier too. I assume this course is easiest because it is short and flat. I'm not sure how a 230 yd hole can be a par 4 or a 440 yd a par 5 (I guess it's all changed since I were a lad). Great shot ouf of the laurel and your final score was excellent!
I’m a member at Mill Green in Hertfordshire and I think we have the easiest par 5 I’ve ever played. A nice wide and dead straight fairway and at 470 yards it’s a very good eagle opportunity to start
Asking whether a golf course is easy is like asking whether a question is easy. If you know the answer to the question, of course it’s easy. If a golf course suits your game, it’s going to be easier than one that doesn’t. But whether it’s easy or not, playing any course sets you a target - can I play well. I always struggle on certain courses with ratings of less than 70 but I usually play well on some courses with ratings over 72. That’s why I love golf.
It's not easy to say wether a golf course is easy or difficult. It depends on the type of player and his or her strengths and weaknesses. Course rating will be the most actual measurement in general, so I would agree with the start of the video. If I would play from the red tees on my homecourse in Norway, it would be 64,2 and I would have to score an 83 from those tees (par 72, PL.HC 17). The point is that you have to be spot on with the direction, otherwise it's hard to find your ball back. (blueberry bushes, trees, pits) As a beginner golfer that's not easy. But easier to go under 90. But does that count as a genuine sub-90? I see the yellow tees as my correct ones and if I score below 90 from those, at a 72 par course, then that counts for me. Not from the red.
Great video Seb, I reckon you should try either Worldham Golf Club in Hampshire or Hurtmore Golf Club in Surrey, while I've never played at Oakland Park the two courses I mentioned I think might be might even easier. Looking forward to seeing you smash it at the BMW Wentworth Pro-Am!
I was a member at Worldham for a long time, great for game improvement but it can be tricky. Especially on the front 9! Hurtmore is easier in my opinion
I think this is a course that really suits Seb’s game. His only weakness is he lacks a bit of distance and that’s not an issue on this course at all. In fact, it may help him taking a big-faced driver where others are taking 3w or hybrid to reach short par 4s. And, his short game is lethal.
Theres a par 3 very similar to the easiest one at one near mine, i think a little longer. Bit of water in front too, but its just about right club and clean connection and youre on a pretty flat green. Easiest ive played. Im awful, but i birdie that one often.
Great video but a little bit of feedback for future videos, if you don't mind could you please make the graphic of the shot on the right a good bit smaller and appear on screen for less time? It's taking up far too much of the screen imo and very distracting. I'd say it isn't really necessary at all when you have the shot tracer as well but it's still kinda cool to see, just takes up too much room.
I thought that's what it looked like (that's what I play as well), but it has a kind of top on it that I didn't recognize. Love the putter, love the content!@@SebOnGolf
Yes cos it’s the easiest of everything , easiest course playing on the easiest tees. At rockliff, he played of the back tees making it the hardest tees on the hardest course. Caught me out at first too tho haha
As Seb said there is literally not much room for mistakes/bad shots. It might be the easiest course for a scratch golfer (CR), but the slope has to be taken into account for higher handicaps as well. The easiest course for 20 hcp might differ to the easiest for 10 hcp.
Thought man was talking to me when he said it got away from me Craig lol. Assume that's the name of the cameraman but I was half focusing and heard my name and got hella confused!!
I’m not going to lie, you’re way better at golf than me… But your swing looks like you’re holding Excalibur it swings back and forth and you’re just hanging in 😂 great video too
I’m a member of Orida Golf and this course is included and I can assure you it’s not the easiest course in the UK! Try it off the white not the ladies!
Hertfordshire golf club easiest course I play…. Taylormade nails marketing so well and Seb is a great man to have on their team! I love p790s and am still gaming the originals but would love an upgrade
Watching that made me feel so much better, as a high handicapper still using my beginners Slazenger irons, even I think I could keep it within 10 on that course. The biggest takeaway for me was the course management using the 7iron off the tee on a par 4. Never would I have thought to do that, going to have to think more in future where to avoid the trouble. Thanks for the video.
You don’t think it’s the easiest you’ve ever played but hit a 63. What’s your lowest round? I’ve started playing from the forward tees recently to rebuild some confidence and been really enjoying it.
For me the fringe of the green is the green ! The fringe of my hair is still my hair. It’s a name for part of my hair. If I’m 1inch on the fringe and put it in the hole, I don’t count it as a chip in !!!! It’s a putt on the green in my eyes !
Seb - why did you play off the ladies ( red) tees ? I don’t recall ever seeing a grown man play off them . I can see how you may come to the wrong conclusion about how easy the course is if you do that.
This was the whole point of the video, to play off the easiest tee set in the country. They have a red tee set there which is rated as men’s and had the lowest course rating in the UK
I’m afraid that’s a rubbish answer - men Never, Ever play off the red tees in any serious event. Your conclusion is not valid on any level . @@SebOnGolf

There’s an easier par 3 course near me at 50.1

Amazing! I loved it there too
Lovely little course, definitely not a push over ! you were saved with some great knee knocking putts, well done. Cheers.
I gen enjoyed this video, the enthusiasm and just the playing and thought process, great video... :-) also great player..

Keep grinding mate, it will come

Might have to take you up on that
Play Cranham in essex - par 67, straight forward, greens are lovely
Played it before, not for a while though
Played this course many times Seb and it’s a little hidden gem, love it! Makes the game feel better😂
great track

Just caught up with this video. Well played, great finish!
Rick, we've found a course where you should break 75.

i do agree, shorter courses def suit me as fairly straight off the tee and means I dont need my long irons which are my weakness

Brilliant round. Would love to play this course.
Hi Seb, what app do you use on your Samsung watch
Pretty sure its Smart Caddie, it comes with the watch.
Come and play Portsmouth golf course in crookhorn. Interesting course and quite hilly
Take a look at Fosseway Golf club, Midsomer Norton.
Seb awesome bro 👏, absolute drainer on the last 🥳
That sunset on 16 was glorious. Great little course. Looks like its worth a visit
It really is!
What a finish! 🎉

great video Seb! if I didn't live in Denmark, I would try that course. When is the closing date on the giveaway?
Great video. The state of those tee boxes 🤦♂️
Enjoying the content very much since I subscribed. But, out of curiosity, what is that putter you are using? I've never seen anything quite like it.
Taylormade spider 🔥

I played there the other day for the first time and shot 83. I play off 17 fun little courses,( also out drove you on the first ;)
Nice work!
That rescue shot on the 13th was class

Brilliant! I wanna play this. About 1.5 hours from me. I guarantee I can make it look difficult though 😂
Give it a go!

Play of whites

I play off reds at my course I’m 9 handicap
I play off reds I’m off 4
Enough said

Great job 😊
That 17th hole was hilarious 😂

Yes seb
Sooo close to a hole in one on the 14th keep up the vids 😀
Thought I had it
Man you deserve more subs
Thank you mate!
The title of this video has really humbled me as a golfer, play here often😭
Not as easy as the stats say IMO
Some birdie that on 13!!!
Looks pretty damn easy to me! Just loads of very short par 3’s and 4’s. 😮
How many shots did you get on this course Seb as a 3 handicapper. Because you birdied stroke index 2 and only went to -1
My score was gross I just counted total strokes
Love it sebby 👍🏻

Yes! finally something in my home town
What app or program does he use for his watch to give out read outs for golf courses
Pretty sure its Smart Caddie, it comes with the watch.
Just saying vivary park golf club is my local and it’s 61.8 course rating par 65
What app do you use for your watch?
Pretty sure its Smart Caddie, it comes with the watch.
Nice video. Would say that the channel needs to be a touch bigger to justify the volume of ads. Keep going though!
Fair play mate, YT placed them automatically but I will go in and manually check if you think there were too many
Rickmansworth down the road is easier than this I reckon.
Tips ?
Poult Wood Golf Course is easier. Has a par 68 course but very short. Give that a go at some point Seb and you will shoot very low.
Thanks mate will check it out
Seb why you gotta do my club like that with the caption 😂
Facts don’t lie
At 5:43 there’s a suspicious looking fresh divot mark in the bunker right beside where you play your ball. Didn’t have two go’s at it did you Seb?
What app was he using on his watch?
Samsung Golf watch
Pretty sure its Smart Caddie, it comes with the watch.
It looks impossible to lose a ball
How did Ben get on?

8 iron 126?? Need to hit the Gym mr CB
didnt want to force a 9 do laid off an 8
@@SebOnGolf fair, just finished the video, quality round mate, doesn’t look that easy especially with the slow greens too 👍🏻
I think the main reason this course was rated easy is because of the distance and slope that’s it
Distance for sure but slope uses course rating as part of its measurement itself
Westonbirt courses is too easy with no bunkers 😂
That swing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What are the easiest golf courses in & around London?
This one apparently, near London
well in Seb coyi
⚒️
Your a great player but your back swing broken ah my boy 😂
Probably the easiest I’ve played I’d Gullane no.3, but it wasn’t that easy 😂
Will check it out
Why are you playing off the Red Ladies Tees.
It’s Micky mouse length course..
Very nice condition..
But the red tees is just a piss take chief
Why are you playing off the ladies tees??!
Oakland has a Men’s Red Tee set, which was sort of the point of the video
was this a samsung watch ad? 😂
No, just use it a lot
leave my home town golf course alone
I rated it!

👍🏻
I would watch it but I hate your swing.
Didn’t look the easiest course 😂
Agree
Good old Ben foster begging to get famous

It is the rating of difficulty for a hole on a course, 1 is hardest 18 is easiest
