Took my parents to see them this tour....Carlos, Chester Thompson, Alfonso Johnson, Graham Leer, Armando Perece, Alex Winter, Greg Walker, and Wayne Sorter turned up for several shows on this tour. If I remeber correctly the Neille Brothers opened for part of the tour as well. I have seen Santa over 25 times from 1983 thru recent tours and this lineup was the best it gets. Leer, Johnson, and Chester were an astounding backline
This was a wonderful tour as I saw them play twice during it. Each show was unique but all out, kick-ass Santana! I remember the soulful Neville Bros opening and then Carlos, CT, Graham, Alfonso, Armando, Raul, Orestes, Greg Walker and Sterling Crew (backup keyboards) bring down the house each time... As good as Carlos and his band are in the studio, they are magnificent, inspirational and truly awesome live!
