Always love these videos, man! I’m happy with this season being my first one as a season passholder, for I got to experience passholder preview of Spinvasion and visit the spectacular Phantom Fallfest and Holiday Lights for the first time. Can’t wait to see what the park does and improves upon for next season. Until then, I’ll see you later
I went to Kennywood August 1st in 2023 and I had a really good time there i even rode the phantom revenge for the first time and it is one of my favorite roller coaster now
I went to Keeywood for my first time on June 30th this past year. Apparently I picked an unlucky time to go as Steel Curtain was closed, Black Widow was closed, Rapids were closed and Phantom's Revenge was on one train with the other sitting there torn apart. We still had a good time though. I will have to go back one day and hope that they figure out the Steel Curtain issues.
for me curtain is still pretty good I still feel like overall for me it is opened on most days and the whole day when it is opened! I Love Spinvasion on the first pass-holder perk day for it they ran it with both motions the whole day and I got to be a the first and last ride of the night on it! Spinvasions Lighting package is incredible, I realy wouldn't be surprised if we see more Zamperla Gryphons opening at other parks in the future! I love all the continuous updates the park makes and I cant wait to see what all is in store for 2024! I think the new Malice In Wonderland Unleashed is there new best haunt at the park now and I love its new sign! Had my best Holiday Lights visit ever with many beautiful lights, Jack Rabbit, and Spinvasion rides! Overall just like last season and or year 2022 one of the best seasons ever at the park and I cant wait for 2024's season to begin!
Great video as always, agree with your mostly everything as well! I too hope steel curtain is finally operational for 2024, but like you, I’m not holding my breath. While Kennywood has been improving over the last two years, with kennywood being a smaller park, it makes some of the underutilized abandoned area of the park more apparent, so I hope the park looks to fix this in the future. In addition to the Steelers experience building, the Bayern Kurve plot, the 4D theater, and the games building in Lost Kennywood are a few areas that come to mind! Overall great video, thanks for the recap, and cool to look back at the season from my home park as well! Two other things I really enjoyed this season, the 10pm Saturday night closings were great and it was nice to have those summer night rides along with the third week in August where the park was open during the week 3-10, that was one of my favorite weeks of the year!
Awesome video! I like these recaps there very good for the off season to watch and enjoy. Wow I’m shocked you didn’t call Steel curtain a lawn ornament like in previous videos. But funny how you used to get mad or annoyed when people called the phantoms revenge, ravens revenge lol.
3:13 I saw that Shooting Gallery the first time I went to Kennywood in 2000 and thought it was some kind of extension to the Old Mill. What was the incident?
7:54 Or have it redone by either S&S or a different manufacturer like Vekoma with the same layout. I read somewhere that Kennywood's 2010s management demanded cheaper parts from S&S which made the ride as faulty as it is so I'm hoping Kennywood's 2020s management doesn't ruin their relationship with S&S over how Steel Curtain was built because I'd like to see S&S drop towers built at Kennywood.
Do you mean drop towers replacing Steel Curtain? Or do you mean Drop Towers in general. I would not be on board with them replacing Steel Curtain with drop towers
@@MrSRArter oh, I gotcha. I'm not a fan of Drop Towers. However I do think it be cool if they added a Drop Tower where Sky Coaster use to be. That's just empty real estate right now.
I really don't want to see Steel Curtain go. However, i will say get your rides in on it while you can. I really think they might remove it in the coming years
I haven't been to Kennywood in years, Thanks for the memories old and new. I hope that 24 will be my year.
It’s always a good day when rampaging Rex posts!!

Highlight of the year is the addition of Primantis Bros! 😀
I love your videos dude! great video as usual, keep it up!
Always great to see your videos!
PHANTOM!
I LOVE PHANTOM
Another great year in review! Thanks for sharing
Lets go been waiting for this since the season ended also surprised you didn't mention the white trim on the thunderbolt coming back
I'm gonna hold off on that and start my eventual 2024 video with it

7:01 The only Kennywood water ride I've ridden after 2010 was Pittsburg Plunge though I'm not a Pittsburgh area local.
Great video Jonathen

Everyones reaction to the steel curtain for 2024: 😐
I was lucky as during employee preview the wave motion was still on
Hear me out skyline P’sgeti bowl coaster in the Steelers experience building
I still wish they ran it with both or alternating it between attack and defense mode
3:13 I saw that Shooting Gallery the first time I went to Kennywood in 2000 and thought it was some kind of extension to the Old Mill. What was the incident?
Someone brought a gun into the park. That's probably why they removed that game

@@jpgiles1725No the drop towers would not replace Curtain, they would compliment Curtain.

I turned 21 on october 29th
My cousin is moving to Pittsburg
“Not the biggest fan of Primanti Bros”
Are you okay? Who hurt you?
I've never liked their sandwiches, too huge and too much bread. They do have good wings though, I'll give them that.
They should take the L and remove Curtain at this point. And get a B&M invert

Steel curtain? More like still broken am i right?
More like ALWAYS broken!
Kennywood is lowkey half of a park. They need to take a year off and just fix everything, including the Steelers experience.
How about no.
