It’s been 10 years since the end of the first season. 3 years since the end of the manga. A lot of the manga was changed or taken out of the anime which was a bit confusing to me at first. I wish for a 2nd season though! I’m still in love with it, the chemistry, kuranosuke slowly realizing his feelings for Tsukimi, I really wish there was a 2nd season. It would be a good chance to redeem everything and make the ending a more solid concrete romanc-y ending. I wished they kissed too hahaha. I’m sure if they readapt this and add a second season now, I’m sure it’ll earn a lot of popularity and more love!!!
I felt this soooo hard I never stopped thinking about jellyfish princess because it really did reach my heart I wished there was a second season with all my heart
I don´t know why it´s so hard to get the main couple to kiss in lots of animes and manga. The only kiss in the whole manga was with Fish instead of Kuranosuke and it would´ve been such a great clousure if they kissed.
I remember reading the ending. It was so rushed and half-assed. I didn't expect the mangaka to end it so soon after they came back from Singapore. Seems like she ran out of ideas tbh. I hate when authors do that. It would've been better to take a hiatus/break so she could come up with a good idea on how to end it. The "romance" between Tsukimi and Kuranosuke was still developing and not that deep tbh.
I still don't understand why they didn't end up together. :'/ since the beginning was more than explicit how kuranosuke was more than a source of confidence for tsukimi.
@@ppronironi9554 They did end up together i think. All i know is at least Tsukimi declined Kuranosuke's brother to get married😂 and the ending made it look like they ended up together or something.
I think the ending was actually really good, but it’s a pity they ended it, not because it was bad or rushed, but because it was left open ended and they have material for more. However, I do think that there is a charm in that, you start with all of these characters kind of stuck on these very narrow paths in life and you end with their lives full of possibilities and interesting things to look forward to. I really liked it, though I can understand that not everyone may think the same, and I respect that
I totally totally agree I felt the the Singaporean guy who was supposed to be the major antagonist had little to no development when there was so much buildup for it, The ending was just lacking honestly. Still, I enjoyed the series v much
You know out of all the Main girls in the Josei series, Tsukimi is one of the best girl that have really developed & change (Even the other girls change as well)
I don’t know why y’all are saying it was an open ending or a platonic poly ending. She clearly ended up with Kuranosuke. Shu even accepts defeat and his broken heart because he knows he lost. Kuranosuke won, the end.
Kuragehime is funny, emotional, touching and inspiring. Never cease loving what you love, believe in yourself and know that it's NEVER too late to make your wildest dreams come true. ♥️
I hated it. She kissed some guy who appeared for a few chapters but didn’t even kiss the main lead or had moments with him after he confessed , that’s so annoying it left me dry and empty
I usually hate this type of ending, but I liked it for this manga. I like both the first and second lead men. Whichever guy would lose against the other guy would make me sad, so I think this ending is fine. I'll use my imagination. It would be kinda cool to read some fanfic though (the rare non-sexual kind of fanfic though lol)

The BL mangaka WAS A GUY! I love that! But he fell in love with Chieko! I was rooting for Shu he's so cute and innocent! Ah this manga and the show is so fun
This does kinda gives me hope for them but I'm still sad to learn about this, I'm on vol. 3 and I look up if they get together but this is honestly better then her rejecting him, I know this the final thing but still upset
