The Sims Gallery Me and my mommy love your hair! We watch you everyday. You are the reason we started my channel. Can you please check it out and tell me what you think. We get so excited when we get a new subscriber!
Hi Ashley👋 I'm trying to satisfy my craving for traveling in these shit times by watching videos like that and I stumbled upon your comment, which made me very happy:)
Travel skincare! Skincare is your fave, and traveling is huge, so what skincare do you take while you travel?? Masks, cleansers, the whole shabang. Since everything has to be small for planes, I just wonder what you prioritize when travelling!
I’ve travelled with my light blue small carry-on Away luggage for awhile and I LOVE it. I got the monogrammed luggage tag, which is sleek and practical. That along with the color makes it super noticeable if I check it. It fits so well in the over head compartments, and I love the laundry bag, charger, and lock features. I find I can fit much more into this bag than I could my last one. And, my bag isn’t dented or scratched after 2 months of having it and bringing it on 5 trips. I have no complaints about it. Another thing to consider is that the bag has a warranty - if it gets scuffed beyond prepare, or something breaks, Away replaces the entire bag free of charge.
Hello from Romania girls! :D here we have the Babyliss curler and straighter ,this is the name. Have two options ,to curl your hair or stright and u need use glove to pretect your hand . U can buy the Babyliss from Ebay or Amazon :* kisses
Hi Ingrid. I'm studying abroad next semester in Scotland and have been trying to plan how to fit a wardrobe that will work for 3 - 4 months. Do you have any recommendations for packing for a trip of this length? Thanks!
Cora Dudash I know this probably won't be much help, but I think your best bet is to make a capsule wardrobe with basic pieces that you can create tons of outfits with. If something comes up and you don't have the appropriate clothes, you can get some online for very cheap, rent them (if you need, say, a cocktail dress) or even borrow from someone else. Congrats on this opportunity!
I studied abroad in Scotland last semester! My tip would be to only take items you really love and can see yourself wearing during different types of weather/seasons. I found that I didn't really need that many different types of jackets or shoes. Just a rain jacket and rain boots, and then whatever you wear normally. Buying stuff like toiletries and bedding when you get there saves a lot of room in your suitcases. Also vacuum seal bags are amazing. Have fun in Scotland, it's incredible!!
Packing layers is essential for the seasons. Fashion is so different throughout the world so leave lots of room for bringing home stuff. I had to pay 150 Euro for an extra bag coming home from my study abroad experience in Vienna >.< . You don't need to bring basic toiletries (except for what you need to get there). Buy shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc when you're there. You can also bring stuff that you are okay with donating when you leave if you want to shop more. Also make sure you have a backpack/small duffel for weekend trips.
I just got back from two and a half weeks in the UK and Ireland. Packing cubes are the best - I found mine on Ebay for a really good price. My advice is to roll your clothes, not fold them. Saved me SO much space!
Depends on what your needs are. If you travel frequently, investing in a carry on that will last and you won't worry about is definitely worth it. If you travel once a year, maybe not
I bought the tan Away carryon bag for my husband. He love how easy it was to roll. His bag has the soft file zipper pouch on the outside and he loves that for his work files. I purchased the smallest carry on in White and love it. Yes it will get a little scuffed up during the trip but when I returned home I used just warm soapy water and the scuffs came right off. It looked like new. I’ve now had my bag on at least 5 trips and it cleaned up after each trip. I love it.
I'm finding myself going back to the same vids for tips! Something about her soothing voice also.. Makes packing seem like a fun and exciting prospect :D
I would love for a video on how to make the most of your time while travelling. I just went on a trip and I feel like I didn't get to do as much as I wanted.
1 word planning. Seriously do all the research & organizing before, have half days & days planned out so you can move them about if something pops up you want to do. Make a list & you can research BOGOF tickets, travel discounts etc too.
Pro tip! My boyfriend has the grey and I have the white bigger cary-on, and the scuffs are easily removed by Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Also, the “flimsy” material might be intentional as they have stricter luggage weight limits in many airports and I’ve found it very useful that my empty suitcase alone didn’t weigh 10lbs
When I travel, I always travel with 30 kids😀and we never have the option to wash our clothes during our stay. So I have to pack a lot, but over the years I have perfected my packing so that I still don't overpack. Love packing videos like this, soooo inspiring!
I love you so much. You're one of my OG youtubers that I've watched for years now. So genuine, sweet, and even years later motivate me to get my life together more lol I love you Ingrid!!
Your How-to pack videos are my favorites on YT - definitely the most informative and helpful around. And beautiful to watch too - we can see how you work hard for your channel content. Thank you Ingrid! Love you!! x Davie
I just watched your "skin story" video again and I loved seeing the products you use and how often you use them each week and would love to see an updated video showing what and how often you use each product! ❤️
2 minutes ago I was trying not to overpack for vacation and it got pretty nerve-racking, and so I went on youtube to search for packing videos AND then I saw your video in my subscription box! Thank you, girl!
I really liked your review of the bag. It's the first one I've seen which felt honest, since everyone else seems afraid to say something negative about the bag. Thank you for keeping it real!
I recently saw a insta story of you out of town and you did a quick makeup look where you didn't use foundation. I was wondering if you can do a make up tutorial on it. Just thought I would ask.
I'm going to have to come back to this when I pack for my trip to Austin in September! I'm super excited for it as I've never been to Texas. And I get to go to a conference that should be really beneficial for my career too. So it's pretty much a win-win both ways!
Got here so fast. I was literally hoping you'd post something like this! I'm going to England and France in the fall for my honeymoon and needed packing recommendations. THANK YOU!
Thank you, you're one of the only in depth reviews I've been able to find that discussed both pros and cons of the Away luggage and I seriously contemplated buying but your cons were big deterring cons for me.
I'm going to a 5 day trip on Monday, so thanx for this :D But one question: How can you workout while being on a vacation, I don't workout even at home lmao
Sprousehart :3 you make the time and just do it. Easier if the place you're staying has a gym but it's defly not a must. One can workout in the room, park, etc. A good effective body weight workout can be done in 30 mins or even less. No tools necessary.
Do you have a video like this where you show the features of your other luggage? I travel a lot and my suitcases are in need of replacing really soon and I'm looking into investing in high quality luggage that will last me a while. Also I'm a travel nerd and I really love these videos.
I was so in love with your last packing video that I immediately went out and bought the packing cubes from the direct site you linked! I've been using the packing cubes every where and every chance I get because I absolutely adore them and their efficiency! Yet another great video! Thank you for the honesty! As someone who enjoys packing, I saw so many people acquire the Away luggages but always wondered about the quality of them. Scratches and dents are a big NO for me! Thank you for this review Ingrid!
Thanks for the review! I was thinking about this luggage for my next piece. Personally, I feel like dents and scratches on luggage are part of the awesomeness of luggage. It means you went somewhere. Purses can look nice, but I like when my luggage looks like it's tumbled down a mountain and survived! And I feel like the really nice luggage just screams "steal me!"
I always love your travel packing and suitcase/cubes info. You travel often and I value your opinion and especially your honesty! Thanks and keep 'me coming! Bon voyage!
The film/editing quality in this video though.........soooooo pleasing to watch hahaha I actually have a ton of traveling coming up this fall, both long weekend trips as well as week long trips so I'll probably come back & watch this video several times for reference. Also, thanks for the thorough review of the Away luggage; my fiancé and I are starting to come up with our wedding registry and we're definitely gonna put luggage on the list so I'm starting to do my research on different options.
Would love to know how you keep fit and healthy while traveling-- what hotel breakfast you eat, what workout routine you follow, do you skip alcohol at dinner, etc. I travel a ton for work and it's always a struggle to not come home feeling bloated and gross.
Thank you so much for adding the review of Away luggage! I'm looking for a new carry-on suitcase and I was interested in Away. This is very helpful and it's true that there aren't many videos about them online. This was a very helpful video too (I'm such an overpacker) thank you x
a note on the tsa lock. it (and any other tsa lock) will only be useful in terms of airport security in the u.s. as other countries won't have that universal lock (tsa is a u.s. organisation). the lock may be helpful outside of an airport though.
Hey Ingrid! I am going to Europe for three weeks next month and this video was so helpful! I am interested in the packing cubes and was wondering if you have links to purchase them?
Would you mind posting a photo of the medium suitcase after you checked it? You mentioned that it dents easily - this is a deal breaker for me when it comes to buying an Away suitcase. Thanks!!
you can only have one liquids bag for a carry on, you had 3... i learnt this the hard way when i had to rearrange mine and throw stuff out :( edit: also you packed it inside a suitcase, normally they ask you to take the liquids out, so must be annoying getting them out when queuing up as you have to open it all the way
Sherisa S Not saying she doesn't know the rules and I understand the video, my comment is more of a 'be careful' cos i don't want anyone to copy her and have to throw stuff away (and it's annoying getting liquids out if it's not in an easy place, I travel a lot internationally and I hate going through security so I have a lot of tips lol) :/
I've found that not all airports actually follow that rule! I've flown through three different airports in the past couple months and haven't had to pull liquids out of my carry-on at any of them. But you're right that it can be important, especially for international travel! Just know your airports basically :)
Nicole Ackman Yeah, JFK in ny for a while didn't require you to pull stuff out but now do again, every airport I've used in London/Europe does too, but I guess YMMV as always, good to know though :) I just hate going through security so much I want it to be as quick, easy and smooth as possible haha.
@IngridNilsen I recently bought the Away carryon with set of 4 Away packing cubes but didn’t know how to use the cubes. Searched for good instructions on packing cubes use with this bag. Out of over a dozen or so, yours’ is the only good one. By the way, roll clothes rather than flat pack, saves space.
Great packing video! Thanks for the info and tips! I just ordered an away suitcase online for my upcoming trips. Is the checked suitcase in your video the medium or large suitcase??
why couldn't this have come out when i packed for texas and not 2 days before i left! i wish it had but i still enjoyed watching this! gonna come back and watch when my next trip comes around!
Hey Ingrid! Been watching your videos for years :) wanted to know a) where the little black backpack is from and b) where the packing cubes are from? ❤️
Well timed. I travel a lot for work but vacations are fewer and farther between. I am going on a 10 day vacation in 2.5 weeks and I'm thinking about what to bring. Packing cubes are life changing. I really appreciate the Away review. I follow some flight attendants and they have been getting it for free but obviously don't check bags or anything like that. Your review was great as were the follow up comments.
This is perfect timing! Thanks Ingrid for the updated packing video & Away review! I've been considering purchasing a set of Away luggage this year so I'll definitely keep your review in mind. :) Happy traveling!
Omg this is perfect timing on this video!! I just got back from my first trip out of the US and I overpacked way too much! I'm looking forward to my next trip and I'll definitely keep this al in mind.
I bought my suitcase about 2 years ago, and have been extremely impressed with it. the brand is Penguin, and it was 80$, carry on size. It has been everywhere with me, has gotten caught on the conveyor belt and it still didn't scratch it. it looks brand new and untouched after many long trips and comes with a luggage tag. it also has a fun pattern on the inside and doesn't feel cheap at all. it has two sides and 4 wheels that roll super smoothly and can expand if needed. super impressed, especially for the price. I highly reccommend if anyone is looking for new luggage. I got it at TjMax.
Can you do a video where you talk about moving out for the first time and different responsibilities that comes with that? I'm moving out soon, and I could really use some tips
I choose not to take things in a carry on because the airlines I normally fly on allow 1-2 bags free so money isn't an issue and also, I don't have to pull a suitcase behind me as well as a backpack and/or duffel. I've never had bags lost either and printing the stickers put from the kiosk is so satisfying :D
You can avoid getting scratches and marks on your luggages by purchasing a luggage cover! I did a 5 week trip in Asia recently, and I noticed that a lot of people at airports were using them. I have a few and they can be pricey, but they're super useful.
Can I just say how pretty your hair is!!
Yes, you can

What is your curler/straightener in this video called? I've never seen one like that before!
Yes please let us know!!
I used to have one like that. It was by conair
Hello from Romania girls! :D here we have the Babyliss curler and straighter ,this is the name. Have two options ,to curl your hair or stright and u need use glove to pretect your hand . U can buy the Babyliss from Ebay or Amazon :* kisses
Alison Leavitt it’s from Bellami!
can you link your straightener/curler ? i need a dual voltage one and yours looks awesome
it looks like kardashian
Thank you for separating your shoes from your clothes. It bugs me to no end when people just throw their dirty shoes in with their clothes, hahaha! :P
Hi Ingrid. I'm studying abroad next semester in Scotland and have been trying to plan how to fit a wardrobe that will work for 3 - 4 months. Do you have any recommendations for packing for a trip of this length? Thanks!

$225 for a carry on is high end in my book 😂
Amanda Titus I will have to agree, but I must say these luggages are totally worth every penny :)
A good carryon is worth its weight!
I agree. I use a $35 carry on from Primark and it's just as efficiënt
Depends on what your needs are. If you travel frequently, investing in a carry on that will last and you won't worry about is definitely worth it. If you travel once a year, maybe not
mexiaznann in Australia we lay more than that for the major brands just bought 4 away bags for the price on 2 to 3 piece set in Australia

Where is the nude tanktop you're wearing in this video from? I love it!
It looks exactly like the one I have from allsaints, a bit more pink in color than it looks here

I've watched Ingrids travel videos and have been subscribed since 2014 and she really has the best packing advice and organization tips!! ❤️❤️
I'm finding myself going back to the same vids for tips! Something about her soothing voice also.. Makes packing seem like a fun and exciting prospect :D
I appreciate how honest you are about Away suitcases when you talk about them, it's super helpful advice!
Could you do a road trip packing video? Like what you bring on road trips, what you wear, and how you pack for it? Thanks!!
Where did u get your backpack?
yes would love to know too! It looks sort of like the Whistles one
I have a similar one and got mine from TJMaxx. the brand is nine west
Just found it: www.clarev.com/collections/backpacks/products/agnes-backpack-black-gravel
I would LOVE a video all about your favorite luggages/bags/cubes/cosmetic cases etc for traveling (both higher and and affordable alternatives)!
I have to say this - YOU ALWAYS make videos with so much useful information and tips. Seriously THANKS A LOT x
Where is the grey blanket sweater from?
Maggie Cottrell does anyone know where the corset leggings were from?
Great video! Thank you for the honest AWAY luggage review. I've been looking into getting a new suitcase and this helped me narrow down my decision.
can you also do the same video in winter version? thanks in advance!!

You should do a follow-up video where you should different ways to mix & matches these items of clothes! :)
Any update on the Away luggage now that it had been 3 years? Thanks! 🥰
I just watched your "skin story" video again and I loved seeing the products you use and how often you use them each week and would love to see an updated video showing what and how often you use each product! ❤️
IM LITERALLY TRAVELING IN A FEW DAYS!!!! BEST TIMING EVER
where is that supercool backpack from?
2 minutes ago I was trying not to overpack for vacation and it got pretty nerve-racking, and so I went on youtube to search for packing videos AND then I saw your video in my subscription box! Thank you, girl!
Could you expand on that little detail you included about the luggage denting easily?
For scratches, you can use a magic eraser sponge to wipe them right off!
I really liked your review of the bag. It's the first one I've seen which felt honest, since everyone else seems afraid to say something negative about the bag. Thank you for keeping it real!
I would love to see what you keep in your backpack for traveling and what you have in there while on your trip!!
I recently saw a insta story of you out of town and you did a quick makeup look where you didn't use foundation. I was wondering if you can do a make up tutorial on it. Just thought I would ask.
A video on what you carry around during trips and how (as in backpacks vs purses, etc) would be awesome!!
Why is watching Ingrid packing soooo satisfying?!!!! 😍😍😍
I love my away luggage and the backpack. You’re right about the dark colours and stuff though, I got the green away carry-on and the backpack in navy
THANK YOU!
Thank you, you're one of the only in depth reviews I've been able to find that discussed both pros and cons of the Away luggage and I seriously contemplated buying but your cons were big deterring cons for me.
what did you end up getting?
I'm going to a 5 day trip on Monday, so thanx for this :D But one question: How can you workout while being on a vacation, I don't workout even at home lmao

Perfect timing, I've been rewatching your old packing videos from when you went to Asia!
Charging dock on the luggage? Super neat!
yes! i was just looking at your old packing videos because i love the way you pack and i'm going away in two days, and then i saw this!!! 😍😍
Would love to know how you keep fit and healthy while traveling-- what hotel breakfast you eat, what workout routine you follow, do you skip alcohol at dinner, etc. I travel a ton for work and it's always a struggle to not come home feeling bloated and gross.
Do you have links to the packing cubes?
Alice Hard I looked up close.. they’re from a brand called Eagle Creek. I need some, too! Lol
This video came just in time! I've been getting ready to buy Away luggage but now I might shop around to see what else I can find. Thanks Ingrid!
Does anyone know where her leggings that she showed for wearing on the plane are from
She replied to an earlier comment about this!! They're from Bandier
Thank you so much for adding the review of Away luggage! I'm looking for a new carry-on suitcase and I was interested in Away. This is very helpful and it's true that there aren't many videos about them online. This was a very helpful video too (I'm such an overpacker) thank you x
What is your backpack brand? I am always looking for new bags. Could you do a what's in my bag vlog soon?
im so glad you uploaded this, i rewatch your old packing vids every year lmao
a note on the tsa lock. it (and any other tsa lock) will only be useful in terms of airport security in the u.s. as other countries won't have that universal lock (tsa is a u.s. organisation). the lock may be helpful outside of an airport though.
Does anybody know where to buy those packing cubes she used? I like how the one had dual sides
Where is that backpack from?! I've been looking for one for months now and this one is adorable!
LOVE those packing cubes! Such a great idea! Super cute travel outfit too :)
Who makes the curling iron/straightener combo you pack? I've been looking for one.
This is such great timing, I just got home from a trip and I leave again one Tuesday for another 2 trips
Every time you post a packing video, I'm about to go on a trip! Yaaasss 🙌🏼 you get me!
Thanks!!
would've loved to see how these outfits are put together in different combinations!
I'm on the hunt for a new luggage. What a candid and thorough review on this particular brand--thanks!
Great review of the away luggage! I was thinking about picking one up recently. Can you comment on the durability of the wheels?
you can only have one liquids bag for a carry on, you had 3... i learnt this the hard way when i had to rearrange mine and throw stuff out :(
edit: also you packed it inside a suitcase, normally they ask you to take the liquids out, so must be annoying getting them out when queuing up as you have to open it all the way
BeyondBrii I'm sure this was an example of how to fit a lot in a small space. She travels often so she knows the rules of airfare.
Sherisa S
Not saying she doesn't know the rules and I understand the video, my comment is more of a 'be careful' cos i don't want anyone to copy her and have to throw stuff away (and it's annoying getting liquids out if it's not in an easy place, I travel a lot internationally and I hate going through security so I have a lot of tips lol) :/
I've found that not all airports actually follow that rule! I've flown through three different airports in the past couple months and haven't had to pull liquids out of my carry-on at any of them. I just hate going through security so much I want it to be as quick, easy and smooth as possible haha.
She probably has TSA pre-check. If you sign up for that you don't have to take your liquids out at all.
Thank you for the review! been wanting to buy it but didnt know if it is worth it. Do a review for the Tumi luggage you have! thank you!
Great packing video! Thanks for the info and tips! I just ordered an away suitcase online for my upcoming trips. Is the checked suitcase in your video the medium or large suitcase??
I FREKIN LOVE Ingrid's travel videos the most!!! They are my fave!!!
why couldn't this have come out when i packed for texas and not 2 days before i left! i wish it had but i still enjoyed watching this! gonna come back and watch when my next trip comes around!
I think you have converted me to packing cubes now... I need them in my life

Hi Ingrid! What brand is this leather backpack you take on the plane? I really love it!
Your review was great as were the follow up comments.
i cant tell if you truly like the AWAY luggage or not? still deciding if I really want this luggage.. ahh im torn!
Can you do a video on how to pack for college or moving out of your home?
This is perfect timing! Thanks Ingrid for the updated packing video & Away review! I've been considering purchasing a set of Away luggage this year so I'll definitely keep your review in mind. :) Happy traveling!

omggg those packing cubes! what are they called and where can I find some?
Hi great video I’m trying to decide on color for my away luggage. Do you find the Navy color to be quite common? Also medium vs large?
Ava Hill I got london fog carry on from tjmaxx a beautiful bronze color
