The reason we who lived the original EPCOT soundtrack and remember still do so is simple: It was POSITIVE. It looked forward not with the fear and dread and political correctness and "austerity" of our current era, but with the belief that problems were solvable, mistakes were fixable, and the world was truly a place where if we could dream it, we COULD do it. The world hasn't changed. Only our prevailing attitude has. I invite my fellow "children of EPCOT" to rekindle that hope, and I' thrilled to discover this wonderful musical tribute not to the past, but to the "Future World" we can all live in if we just get on with it and dream it...and do it!

These are all the songs I sing to my daughter when I rock her to sleep. She will learn all these classic epcot songs. This gave me chills. Thanks for posting!
I went to DisneyWorld for the first time in 1992. I was eight years old, then. I returned in 1994, 2000 and 2012. I always want to return, but my fondest memories are from 1992/1994, from my childhood. This brought tears to my eyes. I love those songs so much.
Disney: hey can I copy your homework Whoever put this together: yeah sure, just change it so it doesn’t look like mine Disney: yeah sure Disney: **Epcot Forever**
Nick Pelayo : Encore! Cast Performing Arts is dedicated to providing Disney Cast Members and their families an outlet for creativity and expression in the performing arts as well as supporting charities that make Central Florida a better place to live.
I remember listening to all those as a kid!! I was born in 1993, and didn’t know about them until early 2000s. I recall of them by musical rhythms, but can’t remember the lyrics. The most favourite ones that are stuck in my head are “Canada” and “Tomorrow’s child”. Thanks for sharing the Medley! 💐🥰🥰🥰
tomorrows child! Universe of energy!! Horizons theme song!!! the original figment song!!!! omg veggie veggie fruit fruit song!!!!! i think the orignal the land song omg amazing!!
This needs to stay posted up for all of us who were 80's/90's WDW kids! Especially now with rumor just posted of No Sponsorship for SpaceShip Earth AnyMore!
I found this by accident but I am so thankful you shared it. The music from the origional EPCOT can't be beat. I still listen to it all the time. Thank you for sharing the Magic.
Me too! So good. My only complaint is that the baritones/basses singing the "Come through time, set the course..." section are overpowered by the rest of the chorus. Otherwise, love it!
I was there on opening day... (and before!.. as press). YOU CAN NOT IMAGINE HOW WORLD-CHANGING Epcot Center was! I feel sorry for younger generations who will never know what it was like. Much of the World Showcase still has that feel. But Future World is a shell of it's former glory.
Vintage Epcot was the best! The artists, designers, engineers, musicians put their heart and souls into it and it was the pinnacle of Walt's Dream. But Michael Eisner came along and destroyed Epcot and took away what we all loved so much. 🤓
You do realize Eisner took over Epcot only 4 years after it was built? Which means, he kept it going like this for a good 20 years. I honestly don’t understand why he gets so much hate, he really tried his best, and wanted to make Disney a magical place, like the one he experienced as a kid. If there’s anyone to blame, it’s Iger. He’s the guy who wants to connect everything with an IP.
I feel its a combination of esiners cost cutting after euro disney and igers IP implementation. But we can all agree that chapek is one of the worst CEOs the company has seen
Sure do miss the original shows and rides. Just got to go on Universe of Energy again for the last time before it goes away. It's still not the good old version, but I hate to see it go anyway.
Being jammed directly in the front row made me wonder what the hell people were cracking up about on Veggie-Fruit. Now I know! They can get away with so much back there! Thanks for all the show videos!
How is it that I am finally discovering these theme songs in the year 2021? And yes, "Universe of Energy" is fantastic. Were all of these songs written by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn?
this is an amazing performance and also whish there was an available score. WDW should do a performnace like this when future world closes for refurbishment next year.
Does anyone know whether the gentleman in the purple shirt singing "Energy (You Make the World Go 'Round)" was the original singer on the version of the song used on the original Universe Of Energy preshow? He sounds exactly the same. Amazing song and vocalist.
That's Scott Hendrix. I know him through work (WDW/Entertainment), though not his exact age. Thirty-something, maybe pushing 40? He's definitely NOT the original vocalist, but did a GREAT job!!
Maybe, but he also brought so many things to Disney World: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Park. All of which are still enjoyed and beloved today.
Christian Williams While you are right, a lot of these things are enjoyable because the company has since fixed a lot of the problems that were very evident with most of these things. I think Hollywood Studios is probably the least problematic out of these.
I agree that Eisner was bad for the parks, but he was the one to pick up the Disney company from the rut it was in after Walt died. he was exactly what the Disney corporation needed.
The D23 event actually happened after this concert. Encore Cast Performing Arts performed musical shows for years as benefit concerts in venues on Disney property. Beginning in 2015, the group moved to the new Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando. Encore is now presenting full musicals featuring the choir, orchestra, ensemble, etc. The first show in 2015 was "Aida in Concert," followed by "Ragtime in Concert" in 2016. A smaller ensemble performed "Godspell" in the spring of 2017, and in July 2016, they will be performing the musical "Hairspray." Tickets are available on the Dr. Phillips Center website.
The original Epcot will be remembered with reverence
The "Energy" guy sounds identical to the original! Excellent job on this medley!
I listen to this and I just have tears rolling down my face. Vintage Epcot is the best thing ever!
[late post] been watching a lot of old school Epcot rides and shows. Such memories ☺️☺️☺️
They were such beautiful songs. They didn't make me cry back then but listening to them now I am crying tears of nostalgia.
I LOVE THIS 💖
This is amazing!
Literal chills during the "Universe of Energy" portion. Beautiful.
It looks like everyone started to have a lot more fun when Imagination started. I would too! I love the guys jamming to Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit too!
still get chills..... tomorrow's child and horizon's "if you can dream it..." i mean i love mission space, but yeah :)
Why does this make me cry every time I listen to it?! I'm not even an 80s Epcot kid! I just get the feels...
Because even the most cornball music from back then is better than the best music from today. Bring back music education!
Because you are tomorrow's child.
tikirowboat 😭 You're so right. I mean now I'm today's adult, but... hahaha
I was a 90’s EPCOT kid. 🙂🙃
I am 100 percent an Epcot 80's kid. I wish I could go back to the park in its heyday. I'll take you with me. 😊

You hit it on the head!
stoled?

+Jose Antonio Did you really want a robot wife?!
+Michael 1 Your words (and the ones from Back to the Future) were inspiring. Well said.
(((((((((
I love these renditions.
Oh hey dude!
How I miss the old Epcot Center from the 80’s!!!!
These are all the songs I sing to my daughter when I rock her to sleep. She will learn all these classic epcot songs.
This gave me chills. Thanks for posting!
Parenting: you're doing it right.

Epcot’s changed a lot from when we were kids, but we’ll always have great memories of this wonderful place and time!
I went for the first time in 1993, so I'm right there with you.

Tbh this is exactly what happened (I hope)

Thanks for sharing the Medley! 💐🥰🥰🥰
EPCOT needs this magic back!
What Disney needs to do is recreate all retired rides (in all 4 parks) 1:1 in VR technology
Energy, (You Make The World Go Round)- best Epcot song ever! It’s greatly missed!
Excellent job on the performance! 👍🏻
Was always my favorite - something about that melody
I'm a huge Dreamfinder and Figment fan. Even more, I'm a fan of the imagination pavilion. One little spark is amazing!
tomorrows child!
Universe of energy!!
Horizons theme song!!!
the original figment song!!!!
omg veggie veggie fruit fruit song!!!!!
i think the orignal the land song
omg amazing!!
The last one is Listen to the Land...so you got it right.
So happy I discovered this by accident. Great singing to all! Wish you all do another concert and do the full soundtracks to all the EPCOT classics.
6:37 - One Little Spark
I love how they have a Figment puppet!
:3
This needs to stay posted up for all of us who were 80's/90's WDW kids! Especially now with rumor just posted of No Sponsorship for SpaceShip Earth AnyMore!
I started crying a little when "One Little Spark" started playing.
I found this by accident but I am so thankful you shared it. The music from the origional EPCOT can't be beat. I still listen to it all the time. Thank you for sharing the Magic.
Classical, eternal, wonderful, full of glory in a glorious time
I get chills when the Universe Of Energy song starts!
YES! I thought I was the only one!❤️
Me too! So good. My only complaint is that the baritones/basses singing the "Come through time, set the course..." section are overpowered by the rest of the chorus. Otherwise, love it!
Horizons - best song ever from Epcot.
*cough cough* One Little Spark *cough cough*
Classic EPCOT! This is amazing.
I love this medley...so very much. EPCOT Center music is some of the best, nice job!
i miss hearing these songs in epcot!
Freaking love this, a medley of the best theme park music ever.
This entire show was AMAZING! I can't wait for the next season!
aww 6:37 gives me the feels
6:37 is my favorite song in this musical. :D
That rendition of the Universe of Energy song gave me goosebumps. :D
You are so freaking lucky Joanna for being able to see this. AMAZING!
Bravo to the talented CMs performing...awesome medley!

Wow! They were really good! I so Loved this performance they were awesome! 😀👍🏻
Sure do miss the original shows and rides. Just got to go on Universe of Energy again for the last time before it goes away. It's still not the good old version, but I hate to see it go anyway.
Guardians of the Galaxy do NOT belong in Epcot. Epcot has been ruined.
This is so amazing in so many ways. So glad I just found this!
The vibes are immaculate
Being jammed directly in the front row made me wonder what the hell people were cracking up about on Veggie-Fruit. Now I know! They can get away with so much back there! Thanks for all the show videos!
Happy 10 years to this great video!
This video is amazing every time I watch it!
I just bumped into this and love it. Deserves more views. Especially from Disney nuts like me
So many great memories. If only we could make the parks what they used to be instead of the cash cow that the directors want.
Great arrangement and performance; thanks so much for sharing!!
This totally kicks ass!!! 🙌🏼
Favourite part starts from 3:10 , this performance is brilliant!
Better version of epcot forever
This is Awesome!!
free instant replays of 6:38 6:38 :6:38 ONE LITTLE SPARK
4:33 Horizons! :,)
This is so fierce!!!! I love it!
Missed this by just a couple of days, I should have shown up earlier! Fantastic job!
spectacular!!!!
I want to go back to Disney!! :(
This is incredible!
LOVELY!!!!!
@kermitdefrog123 A portion of Golden Dreams, sung in a lush acapella I may add, was saved for near the end of the show.
Love this so much!!!!
They forgot “it fun to be free” from world of motion
Wish I could get my hands on the full arranged score. Nice performance, even though it has been forever.
Awesome
Mani wish I could buy a music CD with the original Epcot center songs on it I miss hearing the sons from the 1980s
U can! Look for Disney World official album CDs from the late 80s or maybe early 90s... there’s used copies floating around. Amazon, eBay...
How is it that I am finally discovering these theme songs in the year 2021? And yes, "Universe of Energy" is fantastic. Were all of these songs written by Al Kasha and Joel Hirschhorn?
No, they were not written by just them.
very cool! I wish i could have gone, but i was working those nights:(
I love it Good job
My heroes. :-D
Brava!
Centauri
this is an amazing performance and also whish there was an available score. WDW should do a performnace like this when future world closes for refurbishment next year.
Man… it’s been four years like this? Man. Time flies by. R.I.P. Original EPCOT.
I miss the "old" EPCOT
My only wish was that there was a “follow the bouncing Figment” sing-along bit for One Little Spark
That’s sad. The original version was the best version.
50s to 1994 was the real Disney RIP PS all of the PC and how Disney is complet shit now these days is all thanks to do with Michael Eisner
I actually agree with that. Eisner messed things up a lot.
Maybe, but he also brought so many things to Disney World: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Park. All of which are still enjoyed and beloved today.

I love this and listen to it regularly.. but every single time it bothers me that the title says melody instead of medley.
"Magic Journeys" and "Golden Dream" would've been good.
4:33 !!!!!!!
RetroElectroville Horizons
Great job!!! But where's World of Motion? :)
Scott Hendrix as featured soloist, yea!
When a musical group with no relation to Disney or EPCOT can make a better show than EPCOT Forever in 2010.
The singers and orchestra are all Disney cast members. And the show was performed inside the World Showplace facility in Epcot.
@Disneydanny I think the main aim was Future World songs.
I loved this!! Where was this done?
😭
1:32 I don’t know who she is, but I like her dress
What’s the opening score? Is it the entrance loop back then? It’s amazing.
What is the orchestra playing at the very beginning?
"we've just begun to dream"
IT was the opening-day fanfare/opening. AH, those were the days!
Who did this? Anybody know who wrote and/or performed this?
What is the song at the very beginning?
We've Just Begun To Dream - Instrumental
It was the opening-day Fanfare played for the festivities. Kind of an "Epcot Overture"
Who is the organization performing? Where was this?
The singers and orchestra are all Disney cast members. And the show was performed inside the World Showplace facility in Epcot.
what is the music from :6:29-6:36 from?
That was just them finishing the song from Horizons.
Was this concert done at Disney?
yes it was part of a D23 event
The D23 event actually happened after this concert. Encore Cast Performing Arts performed musical shows for years as benefit concerts in venues on Disney property.
