Hi there woman with a naturally lower tone. I'm a tenor singer with a vocal range of F2 to F6 (I can whistle in the 7th octave but I don't know on what key). What's my point? You're vocal texture doesn't have to determine your range. Take singers like Dimash, Brendon Urie. Just train your voice if you wanna sing higher. Though I personally prefer the lower register. The 3rd Octave is my home. Whistling is fun though.

2:47 makes me tear up everytime. that specific snippet no one else I could listen to on repeat for days and not get tired of it.
I love the Pippa Soo version too. I love how both Denée and Pippa both have their own, beautiful way of dining the song.
Literally got the biggest chills when Anna Kendrick was singing
OMG you put Sierra Boggess in there! YES, hit that high note!!!

um..... it's literally illegal for a single vocal moment to bring actual physical tears to my eyes @ denee benton, especially when i haven't even seen the musical
The section dedicated to Laura bell bunny made my theatre kid heart v happy
3:11 im so glad mary kate morrissey was my first elephaba. she was so amazing! i want to see her Janis so badly!
I got to see her as Elphaba too! She's the best in my opinion, but I might just be biased.
thank u for putting anna kendricks kennedy centre performance in bc i died upon seeing it
Don't think you noticed, but the image of the Elphaba during Idina's singing at 5:58 is actually Stephanie J. Block! 😬
i know lol it’s just the background to the video i got the audio from idk why. i think the original publisher gave each song a different elphaba
@@CrapBag Ah okay. Makes sense

He would turn up for the opening of a toilet
I love how you included the studio recordings vs the live performances which often sound so different but it just shows how talented they are. 😆😊
