- "Pokémon GO" isn't just about catching as many as you can, it's also about making your Pokémon stronger and using them in battle. While tossing a Pokéball is fairly simple, figuring out how to fight can be a bit more difficult. Here's a quick rundown of how the process works and why you should be visiting gyms as much as possible.

sadly if your top 6 pokemon ain't higher than 1000cp, you're gonna have a bad time
there should be a way wich where beginners and people with weaker pokemon could battle with each other

Buttery Skater it's 2500 minimum requirement for top 6
Buttery Skater Pokémon at Gyms now have motivation meters, the longer a Pokémon has been at a gym, the lower it's CP goes. Once a gym is defeated and the Pokémon returns to their trainer the CP is restored.
At your own team's gyms, feed defending Pokémon berries to restore their motivation.
dont just catch pokemons in your town , i got my 946 pokemon level 7

You can never go wrong with POTC! :D
Tips:
-Use ditto when you're going to fight a raid boss (it must have hp higher than 50 because it will take time to transform)[Most effective when using it to lvl5 boss]
-Hp=Power but Hp/Speed sucks
-Some pokemon with low hp could be a blast.(Ex: My Umbreon has 114hp but defeated lvl2 boss)
-Never use a ditto while fighting ditto
-In today's update, CP does not matter anymore. Because it decays every time.
-[Optional]Never put your strongest pokemon in the gym if you still want to fight another gym.[Use other pokemon that is not below 500CP]
-Never throw any of your items(Use it)[Exemption][Optional: Throw nanab berry because its the least useful berry]
-Evolve your pokemon first before powering it up
-Beach will be the best spot where you can find a lot rare pokemon
-Don't disregard common pokemon[Example: Ratata] because it might be a ditto
Glitch:
-Some pokemon fled but in reality, they're still there
-If you catch a pokemon and it took a while to load, It might flee but when you check your pokemon, it might be there[Same thing when I caught my Hariyama]
- GPS Drift happens when you're using Data, you're on the subway, Low Signal, moving car, at the main floor of 2-30 story building.
These are the kind of tutorials I like, straight to the point, abc 123 and thats it.

Recently started playing GO and already wish they had based it more around the actual games, Standard attack system, actual pokestops that heal your pokemon, a Home where you can be healed also, battling wild pokemon. Its not a bad game just not good.

Thanks man. I was battling a team rocket grunt and I was waiting for my TURN to attack. I didn't know it wasn't turn based. I just had to sit there and watch as his macho beat up all 3 of my Pokémon

You might need to go to a different place to find a gym

How can i make my character move?
I have enabled gps everything....but my character doesn't move an inch and i walked two kilometres away from home.
It worked for me after changing the Location settings to High and accurate. It is not working for Device or Battery Saving

I wish if you battle, you battle with people of the same skill level. Whenever I battle, I'm matched up with players whose Pokémon are CP 1000+ and mine are like CP 500 at most. If they added this feature, everything would be more fair. Some people might say, "Just level your Pokémon up" or "Catch more Pokémon". But during Covid, people can't go out and level their Pokémon up or catch more Pokémon easily. I myself started playing while Covid is still around so I can't do much. I just have to sit around waiting for a Pokémon to show up. So my point is you should be able to play with people that are of the same skill level as you because it's hard to catch more Pokémon and level up the Pokémon you already have during times when you can't go out. Like Covid.

no you dont lose it. its just dead and you need to revive it. and give it potion so ur pokemon able to fighting again

you were probably at your own gym can only use one to train with. Use 6 when at opposing gyms.

Yes, you are fighting real people that are defending the gyms, so you might very well see them in real life! :)

If only this game allowed you to battle random pokemon on the map for levels, and allowed you to battle random people on the street.
You can do that in the battle section but you might be too low level
but the problem is i live in uae in a local city and i cant find any pokestops or gyms or arenas or these stuff
Try going to a Walmart or a semi busy store
also a church is likely to be a pokestop for some wtf reason
