Thank you so much for your worthy informations I just wanna ask about lubricating my roller brake because I bought it new and yet it started squealing and making uncomfortable noises, and I saw your video talking about Shimano roller brake grease product and unfortunately we barely don't have that product in country and I'm currently in a case of emergency, what should I use instead of that roller brake grease? Or must I let the brake as it is???
Hi Abdü, thanks for your question. I would love to help but unfortunately I'm not familiar with the alternative. The Shimano roller brake grease is quite unique, containing talc, bentonite, and quartz, making it abrasive and serving different functions than standard bike grease. There might be a similar type of grease that I'm not aware of, used on other types of vehicles, and machines. Some one lese came accross this: "The brand Elvedes makes a grease for rollerbrakes. I've read on some forums about people trying other greases and having success, but I'll stick to rollerbrake specific stuff". If you come across any, feel free to let me know! 🙂
Hi Dave, thanks for your comment.🙏 I'm thrilled to hear that the video was helpful for you! It's great to know that it saved you time and made the process smoother. If you have any more questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to let me know.🙂

Perfect video. First time fixing roller brakes, 5 minutes watching this saved me multiples of that time messing around

Gracias por este nuevo video. Como siempre aprendiendo sobre aspectos técnicos importantes que en otros canales ni siquiera tocan.
