Which one do you like better, BIG or SMALL haha? Or are we not gonna play favorites?
😆
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to recreate the swipe so close to the first one, and can’t be more happy and excited about my result! The most perfect cells EVER!
I like the big one more. Only because it's more of the same as the little one.
@@ThePunk01 haha that is true! the more the better
I like the bigger one just because there is more detail. They both look amazing
@@queensaharaice7376 thank you!
@@OlgaSoby Love, Love them both, but I Love the BIG one more, because 'Go Big or Go Home!" 💙💜💚💛💕❤😊😉🧡🎨
I am a beginner, and I’ve been exclusively watching you and Molly’s Artistry for ideas and inspiration. I absolutely want cell creation in my pieces, and I’m extremely inspired by your instructions on how to create them. Thank You Miss Olga. You are as creative as you are beautiful.
Thank you so much, Scott! Happy creating!😉
I absolutely Looooove that swipe piece!😍🎨 So beautiful I definitely want to try this method. I just love your channel Olga keep those beautiful pieces coming!!
😃👍🎨💕
this looks like a field of flowers, yet nothing like flowers… It’s hard to explain. Another mesmerizing piece from Olga Soby
i LOVE how you use the left over paint that falls off the canvas to make other things with it!
This is so beautiful, I love them both equally. I cant wait to try this. Thank you for sharing 💕👍🏻
Good on you for promoting a multiple use silicone mat that will help prevent use of so much single use plastic sheeting.
мы из Беларуси. детский дом семейного типа. дети в восторге от ваших картин. будем пробовать так же. Я уже купил почти все необходимое. купим краски и начнем творить!)
Love it! Olga, you are so wonderful to listen to & watch. Charismatic for sure! They both are wonderful! Thank you again for this wonderful demo!
Beautiful! I love that white lacing look!! That's what I'm after! Thanks for sharing, been wondering about the Artist Loft ready mixed paints.
Fantastic result! Use your skins for an abstract art work. They are great fun to work with and stick onto canvas with medium. Love your videos! Cheers, DEBBIE T (NZ)
The skins are awesome.
Oh, how pretty! Love the small and the large.
I think you are the first person to do that. It looks exactly the same, how cool is that. The painting is beautiful.
thank you! And definitely the first time in my practice when I recreated the result so close to the first one 😀
I would love to see you do a pour directly on that mat. Let it dry. Then peel it off and stick it to your window. See if it acts like a stained glass window.
Or place it over wood and seal it with epoxy!
She would need to do a very thin pour. Otherwise it would tbe transparent enough for light to pass though. Good idea though. She could probably do it with a different type of pour medium. Something that's not so opaque.
That's exactly what I thought when she peeled it off. Put it on the window
Yeah window........
Hi Olga. Most viewers replying here say you should stick it on the window. You could go one step further and cut out star and other shapes and then stick them on the window. These would be ideal for glass patio doors so that they can warn people that the door is closed. i.e. That they do not walk into the door.
They're both exquisite! I love how the cells looked. It's a momma and baby set!
Thank you so much for including your Amazon shopping lists in the description. I just placed an order for a few materials to get started and try my first pouring art and I'm so excited!
Absolutely beautiful... I want one of those silicone mats so bad, lol, it’s on my list! Always look forward to your videos, love them!❤️😍😎👊🏽
thank you! And I have been looking for such mat for sooooo long, but craft mats only come in small sizes, and everything else I tried always stains. So it's a great find for me!
I Love it! They came out great! I like the idea of using the plastic wrap. I make jewelry organizers and I use a pour painting with a swipe technique, but I have not used plastic wrap for the swipe. I'm going to try it. ( that silicone mat also seems like a really good idea! )
Have fun with it! I also tried plastic sheet in another swipe - worked great
Can i do it in a huge canvas? It has a size of 5ft by 3 ft ...
The paint skins are amazing as well…
Pete and his big brother Repeat. I like much. Thank you for sharing and stay awesome.
I would LOVE SOME OF THAT JEWELLERY
Thank you 😍
I am so happy that it turned out the same!! No favorites, both beautiful. You are brave with the plastic wrap. I can't even get it to work on food!! This is a saved video and I will be trying to duplicate your results. LOL
Nancy Veich did you add any water to the acrylic loft ready pour paint or just the silicone?
so nice to see someone using a reusable base NOT plastic that they throw in the trash!
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE UR SWIPE..FABULOUS!!♡
Thank you so much, Debbie! Happy you like it!😊
I think it will be great if you record the drying process in time-lapse mode.
Great suggestion... that would be cool huh?
Have u ever done a pour?
@@joshlowe2233 have you
@@ex35240sx yes and I could say that while it would be cool to watch the shift from wet to dry and the changes that come with it..that expression "like watching paint dry" comes to mind..BTW is does that stand for 95 Nissan 240sx?
Please see what those skins look like as window ‘stained glass’ stickers - would look amazing especially if you have done a pour using mostly transparent colours...
Omgoodness these 2swipes are absolutely gorgeous💗I think when I buy my paint to start pouring after the first of the year I will try these paints💗
Wonderful to see that mat and how you take care of the surplus paint! So important!
Wow! I'm really not a fan of silicone normally (often it just seems to look pitted and a bit wierd to me) but I love both of these; they've turned out really beautiful and the lacing is just stunning. I think if you could do a second small one like the first one they would look amazing on the wall as a triplet with a small one either side of the big one.
oohh... that is a great idea!!! 😍
not sure if I get lucky for the third time tho 😂
@@OlgaSoby Just the opposite from me then, that's when I usuallY do get lucky! hahahaha...
Oooh... imagine making a lot of little random shapes of that "skin" you peel off the silicon mat, randomly arranging them on table tap, a coffee table, then doing an epoxy pour over that... could make one heck of a pretty table.
I was also thinking about doing such 3d pro just out of all the skins! That sounds super cool to do a coffee table like this
Ok. I’m liking what you’re making. Nice.
That was amazing, and the effect, very beautiful.
Can this technique be applied to objects with some shape to them - like a car body or similar - or must it be perfectly flat to avoid paint from running.
I would Love to know as well!!!
I have tried it on a terra cotta pot. It did not work well, but I think if it was semi-flat it would work.
I haven't done the 3d object, and can't give any particular advice. I know many artists who do vases and ornaments, but nothing with cells. The problem is that gravity really plays against you in this technique. And personally, I always make sure the surface is 100% leveled when I want to get cells.
Possible alternative - pour over contact paper and stick to where you want it.
@@OlgaSoby I had considered also just pealing a film off the silicon and applying - though I am sure I would tear it. Sounds like I have some experimenting ahead of me. I appreciate your video and your feedback!
@@justaddwata you are most welcome, and I'd be happy to hear about your experiments 😉
These results are amazing!! Your artwork is inspiring! Thank you for sharing your experience, you rock!!
I like this swipe technique ♥️ looks super cool. Love both!
Hey there! How many ounces of paint did you use for each color i want to ATTEMPT to do this using my regular artist loft paints? Also what is the best consistency for a swipe painting? I just tried my first swipe last night and i think i added to much silicone or made my paint too thick.😭
I went through this process. You want the consistence to be that of warm honey. Use 1oz cups to start with and 2 to 3 drips of silicone in the paint. Boom!
i would love to see this done on a motorcycle tank
that is a very cool idea
How great is that, that you were able to repeat it! I love it!
Now that was gorgeous - just like you. such a great inspiration
Can you please tell what kind of silicone is that?
I use this silicone amzn.to/2FYV3U0
Great job, it turned out amazingly just like the 1st piece. Very beautiful. 💙💙💙👍👍👍👍👍
That's amazing that you were able to recreate that swipe! It's gorgeous, too!
thank you! I wish I could do it all the time haha
It’s so beautiful, I can’t stop looking at it 😍😍😍😍
... real great cell-effects !!
once again, a great result. I like both very much, the bigger and the smaller one. Amazing they look like identical twins.
Wow! Just gorgeous! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing. Love your work ❤️
Oh My gosh! gorgeous, I really love it!
So excited to see that large silicone mat. I use little ones for nail art but if I'm doing larger scale stuff I need something BIG.
That is AMAZING! I really love the colors. So vibrant. Thank you for sharing your art. 👩🎨🇺🇸🍀💖California, USA.
Absolutely love em! I will definitely be trying this 😍
Nice swipe. That is a winning combination. So bright and pretty.
WOW!!! both of these are just Gorgeous!!!!
Very cool. I can't wait to try this.
IT'S INCREDIBLE! I Love it, I have to keep trying. I used a thin plastic sheet instead of the plastic wrap, but I'm trying it next time. Those cells and colors are so beautiful!
Beautiful Olga😘😍❤️
WOW!! Result is amazing
Ma’am, thank you for sharing so much edutainment about pouring techniques and materials. Stay awesome.
thank you, Doug!
Love your work and all the great tips. You have inspired me to try different techniques. I am going to check out the silicone mat. Awesome
I love the "mistakes". Beautiful.
Stunning!!!! 💚 💛 💜
Love them both but big brother is my fave!
Amazing! Absolutely beautiful!
Soooo beautiful,!!! And I will get that mat!
This so amazing. Just learning about this art form, and I love it. Thank you for showing us such an amazing swipe.
Glad you like it!
That's a pretty cool way to do a painting, thank you for the video upload
I'm so happy this worked for you on the larger canvas. Couldn't have happened to a sweeter, more talented acrylic paint pouring artist. If you still wanted to swipe with plastic wrap, maybe wrapping excess around a dowel or other thin stick, then using stick to pull wrap through paint. I can't even see edge where wrap didn't go through paint--cells must have grown into the space.
I was thinking that it would probably be easier / more even to pull the plastic wrap towards you, rather than reaching across and pulling it side to side.
I absolutely love it! 💕💕💕 love them both
That is cool and trippy. Wish you had a time lapse video of the cells growing/expanding over night.
Cool idea 😉
BEAUTIFUL! 💓💓💓
Gorgeous, as always
Wow Olga , Amazing swipe . Thankyou
wow this is beautiful
This is absolutely beautiful, and I see zero scattering of pigments that can happen with certain paints. So smooth and lovely.
Scattering of pigments. Can u explain this please?
Wow this turned out gorgeous! I'm going to have to try a swipe piece after I get some silicone oil.
You made very good texture it can be useful in fabric printing
Wow this is so beautiful!
Amazing!Love it
I like that side the plastic missed, its a nice peek of what you used for colors.
So beautiful!! So inspiring to try!!
Amazing! It is absolutely gorgeous! Great job!
Great piece of art to compliment the smaller one, thank you Olga for sharing your time and Talent
Wow! I love this
Love the silicone mat!!! No plastic waste!!!
Love them both.....very clever..🥰
Beautiful, so glad you could recreate, awesome job!
thank you! yes, does always works so good haha
Ahhhh....another awesome piece.👍👍👍
Beautiful!!!
Best video Ive seen yet for this medium. Well done. Trust me ive watched hundreds, this was so pleasant, and what a beautiful outcome.
Wow, that’s identical ❣️
That is very cool. Thanks for sharing and cheers.
Thank you so much for not wasting paint! I love the jewelry idea and I hope it works out!
Thank you, and by the way I have a tutorial on my website on how to do this smartartmaterials.com/how-to-make-acrylic-skin-jewelry/
I love listening to you beautiful painting btw
Just love it!
Wow - nice result!
I have enough of the Lolivefe mats to cover my whole bench and the sink areas - 5 or 6 including the Mega Mat which is huge - 100 x140 cm. I think they are brilliant. I’m using less piddle pads and they stop paint going into the waterways because you can just peel off the dried paint as skins. You’ll never be sorry you’ve bought one. Olga, this piece is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Me n Phoebe pull prints off the spills..... From all over the dinning table! My daughter did almost get cross xxxxxxxxccc
Love your art❤️ Thanks for sharing
Beautiful. Great job. Congratulations
That silicone mat is HEAVENLY! Oooh ooh. I would love to learn how to create this kind of art. Seems so loose and fun to do.
it's very enjoyable form of art, and also extremely addictive 😆
