You're a tool if you consider this a proper screen endurance test. Think about what most people do with their phones to damage the screen. It definitely isn't knocking it with a hammer from an inch away.

Tough glass but putting phone into a coat pocket with a zip and zip teeth scratched the glass deep (plastic film was removed). Samsung told me it's normal for the glass to scratch and are happy to replace the screen for £200/$277. My oppo and blackberry phones have never scratched.
Yeah, I get it, everyone was expecting to see the phone break in 2. But realistically you will be getting hots closer to the ones simulated in the video in your day to day life (probably less powerful and less often, I don't expect anyone using the phone to drive nails through wood on a daily basis). So good effort :)

i dropped the phone once and it broke. the screen wont even turn on. had to pay 318 to get it fixed. I dropped my old one plus 1000 times and it never broke. samsung screens are terrible.

I haven’t used a screen protector in over a decade... and then it happened. I got my Ultra last Thursday and on Friday it had a deep scratch on the left hand side. Not 24 hours later I had a scratch that I cannot explain. I put it in my purse, no keys or anything sharp hit it. I went to Trader Joe’s and when I got home, I had the scratch. Still can’t figure out what happened. 🤔
I've had the s21 ultra since it launched and i dont use a case or a screen protector i work at the railroad as a machinist so i work on locomotives all day everyday and i have my phone in my pocket the whole time laying on my side where the phone is I've actually grabbed my phone with oil all over my hamds like a moron a couple times and i couldn't tell you how many times I've had metal shavings or sand in my pocket from work and my phone screen is not scratched at all now i do try to be mindful of it as much as i can remember to lol I've forgotten it was in my lap when i got out of the car and hit the ground screen first and again no scratches so i wouldn't wast money on a screen protector and if your super careful and clean your phone regularly like me then dont even bother with a case show that sexy phone thats almost a tablet off lol

Bro the screen is so breakable, I'm not sure how but it managed to chip in my pocket and it made a spider web like appearance on my screen. For a flagship that was very expensive this definitely needed more thought to the screen

1 st Day I had mine it fell to the ground from a extremly short distance... Screen broke...even though I hade protecting cover and screenprotection. Improved gorilla Glas my ass...
I guess we just lost the point, the purpose of this test is just to simulate the “normal” solicitations that could happen in a while you have the phone in the pocket or if you drop it. If you use an hammer and you just beat super strongly the phone I can assure you, doesn’t exist any model who can survive. In the pocket you don’t have the knives which are constantly fighting with your phone... Is surprising when they are just stabbing the phones with the knife and after...oh it’s scratched... yes mathe****er is scratched, it’s normal. So I agree with this test more then my other one, because this is the type of solicitation you can get on your phone if you use it as a normal person.

Metal doesn't scratch any type of glass, so this is useless as a scratch test. Dust particles will still scratch this screen like any other

The are cases that supports such load even full water resistant till 100 km

@@jaketapper8910Not the glass, the chip will be greater and faster, the device will be cooler in general now and the software gets a major upgrade for the camera and battery life. Plus its now coming in with the NOTE design for the ULTRA so it has that S pen functionality
@@Volanity We've already seen these very incremental gains with processors. Even the iPhone 13's A15 chip that is 30%+ faster than the iPhone's 12 A14 chip in the real world is negligible. Most people do not care about the Note S pen as most people who wanted that feature got a previous Note series. How do you know the battery life will be better? Battery life is not guaranteed to improve there have been releases where battery life is the same or in some cases worse. There are some amazing deals on the S21 Ultra right now. Deals you will not be able to get with the S22.

Bro the screen is so breakable, I'm not sure how but it managed to chip in my pocket and it made a spider web like appearance on my screen. For a flagship that was very expensive this definitely needed more thought to the screen
Dude you did someone other than simply having your phone in your pocket. You either had something in your pocket with the phone or you damaged it by bumping into something. There is ZERO chances your Gorilla Glass Victus chips and spiderwebs by chilling in your pocket.

I guess we just lost the point, the purpose of this test is just to simulate the “normal” solicitations that could happen in a while you have the phone in the pocket or if you drop it.
If you use an hammer and you just beat super strongly the phone I can assure you, doesn’t exist any model who can survive. In the pocket you don’t have the knives which are constantly fighting with your phone...
Is surprising when they are just stabbing the phones with the knife and after...oh it’s scratched... yes mathe****er is scratched, it’s normal. So I agree with this test more then my other one, because this is the type of solicitation you can get on your phone if you use it as a normal person.
