We all love James Hoffmann and we trust him about coffee BUT after trying the lovely Annalisa's method, I've decided that moka pot is really something that Italians have mastered. If you've ended up here, that mean's your moka pot coffee is lacking something. I've tried both of the methods. The only difference was; I've used Colombia Supremo Excelso beans and freshly grind them just before use on my DF64 Gen 2 grinder. You wouldn't believe the flavor improvement of Annalisa J.'s recipe. I strongly recommend you try this one. You will not use another method for the rest of your life for moka pot... Grazie mille Annalisa :)
I just watched a Hoffman mocha pot video, the this one by Annalisa, and I cannot discern any real difference between the two methods. Hoffman suggests preheating the water (so the time to brew is reduced a bit) and points out the optional paper filter. Other than that - no differences between the two instructors. What am I missing?
Growing up in Long Island in the 1960s, our next door neighbors were from Italy, as a young kid I would go over to their house and they would always feed me (whether I was hungry or not, lol) I would sit on one their laps at the table and they would let me sip their coffee (expresso) before they drank it, they all drank it without cream or sugar, I must of been 6 or 7 when they gave me a whole cup to myself, I was so proud. They gave me my love for good food and drink, always to be shared and enjoyed with family and friends. They're long gone, but I still think of them. Thank you Annalisa for taking the time and effort to share the correct way of making Italian coffee, you're so right when you say ritual, aroma, memories and home, I think enjoying the simple pleasures in life is the secret to true happiness.
Frank, thank you for sharing this beautiful memory, I could see it! I was 6 when I started drinking espresso, it’s so normal for us 😆 Everything tastes better with family and friends, and I truly believe that many simple moments treasured and stitched together make for a wonderful life. ☕️✨
I loved how you showed us how to make café!!!! I'm in Italy right now, I've been drinking this awesome café every day!!!!! Also you are so calm I can listen to you all day!!!! Gracias!☕️
Leslie when you first get your Moka, make a couple of pots with a cheap coffee as you will throw it away (the first 2 or 3 are just to prime the machine and don’t taste good), after that use the good stuff and enjoy ❤️❤️☕️ let me know how you like it ❤️
Thank you for this lovely video. When I first started using the moka pot I did it in the way you show it - using illy coffee, same method, but it tasted bitter. I started looking it up as I wanted it to taste nice, and tried all the tricks that "coffee experts" recommend - using hot water from the start, putting a spoonful of water in the upper chamber, using freshly roasted coffee from a specialty shop, and switching off the heat as soons as the coffee started to pour (always keeping the lid open). It got too complicated and didn't really improve my coffee. I decided to go back to basics and was happy to see that is how italians make it :-) I'm now using filtered water (that made a difference) and ground coffee from the supermarket (against all "experts" advice), and I take it off the heat and pour it as soon as it starts sputtering, and that's it, I can enjoy my home espresso. Just haven't figured out how to keep the coffee hot for more than a brief minute... Any advice you can give?
My husband and I have our own Bialetti espresso maker. He prefers Illy Robusto espresso and I prefer Illy medium roast espresso. It’s such a lovely morning ritual. Thanks for sharing your way of preparing the espresso and the various espresso beans that you prefer. Lovely video.
You have explained very well how to use and what you really need to know about it. Thank you, I do have one and you explain what I did wrong with it Coffee is important as well, I do have the same as you with illy, I love it and have been using it for a while. I cant wait to try your technique of letting it rest first and stirring it before pouring.
it was the first time of me using the moka pot and thaks to you it turnned out perfect! so delicous ! i drank it as "espresso" with a dash of vaninlla syrup i made. thank u!! u seem so sweet and kind i love ur vibes
finally i get to learn it frm an italian...never expected it to be presented in such a sweet manner...not the usual italian style lol you're too sweet for an italian. thankyou for this
I bought a Moka pot last year but I’ve never felt comfortable using it because the instructions were not as clear and concise as yours. Thanks so much!
Love this! I grew up in a coffee family and it was the center of our lives. Now I’ve been living in southern Italy for a year and I relate to the coffee culture so much! Learned a lot about my moka pot coffee journey in this video :)
I've had my mokapot for about a year; it makes a good little cup of coffee. I got a few tips from you that I will try. I will try filtered water, and stirring it in the pot before I serve it. Also I will stop washing it out with soap, and just use water. It didn't dawn on me that the patina of coffee might help the taste. I also will keep the lid closed; I had been doing it with the lid open so I could see how full it was. Thank you for your advice. I love coffee. I have been using Starbucks ground esspresso, but I will try the Italian brands you suggested.
Thank you Annalisa! I just recently bought a Bialleti Brikka. I have watch many videos and my coffee was still coming out kind of bitter. I saw your video yesterday and applied your method this morning. It worked! I was so pleased with my coffee. Thank you so much for your video. So easy to follow and the results were wonderful!
That's exactly how I make my coffee, now I'm going to have to try the LaVazza coffee combo, I've never mixed the two or even considered it until you suggested it.
Annalisa this is the most perfect timing for sharing your precious coffee secrets. Thank you! After watching your video on morning rituals I bought Bialetti pot last week along with Illy coffee. No more cold water from my fridge filter! And I shall stir it from now on! Next stop perfect Turkish coffee ☕️ . I enjoy your every video and comments from your beautiful community here. So heartwarming!
Turkish coffee or Armenian coffee as I prefer is very easy to make, you do need the irbik or jasveh. They are available on Amazon. You will need coffee as well the coffee mentioned in this video is good but you will need to grind it a bit more until it is almost powder consistency. To make the coffee fill the Demi-tasse cup to the top with room temperature bottled water and pour it in the jasveh add about a teaspoon of sugar to the water then with the same spoon a heaping teaspoon of coffee. Leave the coffee to float on the top of the water. Place the coffee on the heat. Medium heat is best. As the water heats up the coffee will start to mix and dissolve when it is completely incorporated into the water give the coffee a good stir from then bottom then let it finish. You will see the coffee climb the sides of the jasveh and gather towards the center. As it reaches the center it is done. Immediately remove from the heat. You can now pour. Each cup should have a layer of the coffee foam on the top, so with the teaspoon divide it between the the cups then gently pour the coffe to fill the cup. If there is coffee left in the pot that is okay- it is the jasveh’s portion. The coffee can be made black but traditionally it is sweetened, medium sweet is best. For multiple portions just increase the coffee water and sugar for was cup. Three coffees - three demitasse of water, three teaspoons sugar and three heaping teaspoons coffee. Lastly- never ever turn you back on the coffee while it is making- it will overflow and make a horrible mess. Enjoy what is arguably the best coffee in the world equal to the Moka.
For Anna: if your Bialetti is brand new, Follow this tip as well; when you first get your Moka, make a couple of pots with a cheap coffee as you will throw it away (the first 2 or 3 are just to prime the machine and don’t taste good), after that use the good stuff and enjoy! For Coco: I am so going to try this! Sounds AMAZING!!!! 🙏🏻😘
I find that lighter roasts truly have more flavors than darker roasts. You taste more of the coffee seeds' natural flavors and less of the roasted or burned flavors. I actually never enjoyed the flavor of coffee until I tried a medium light roast with floral, tea, and coffee like flavors. It was very sweet, fruit acidic and lighter than any coffee I had ever had before. Just a thought for anyone who doesn't enjoy the "standard" coffee flavor.
It’s amazed me how people have so much different taste of how they like their coffee. And coffee has all of its variety to please each individual different taste all the same
Thank you! Grazie mille for the fantastic video. I use Bialetti Moka pot but buy whole coffee beans & grind my own coffee. Great tip on freezing the leftovers. Thank you again.
Dear Annalisa, awsome video. I bought a bialetti moka pot a few years ago and made coffee in it but it eas too biter for me. I supose I did something wrong. Now I gave it a new try and after I saw this video, and made as you show, I taste my coffee diferent, much more better. Than you revive me the old moke pot. It is a real good tool to apreciate coffee as it is, black and wonderfull. Lavazza is my favorite too. It is very affordable and taste amazing. Wish you all the best.😊
We just got to an airbnb in Italy and all they had was a moka pot. I watched your video, and oh wow!! Delicious!! Thank you! I am now buying a Bialeti before I leave Italy! Ciao, grazie!!
Beautiful. This is how they make it Puerto Rico. At least one of the ways. My grandma always had this in her stove. 💗 It’s funny she would just drink black coffee, most have caffe con leche ( with milk). And I told my daughter couple years back to freeze the left over coffee because she makes her iced coffee and it’s just so watery lol Great minds think alike for sure! ☕️
Ooohhhh. That was fun I really haven’t had espresso coffee. But I like the ritual. Because of the ritual alone I’m going to buy a pot and start to have an espresso with friends. Americans have a coffee on the go,run. The Italian way has you slow down take time for relationships then go to the next step for your day. Really enjoyed your video, as usual. Thanks for the lesson.
Hello, just want to say thanks, my wife and I, started to prepare latte, capuchinos and other and we watched your video and we decide to use the lavazza mixed with the lavazza cream. And is perfect. Thanks a lot. Hello from panama city Panama.
Hello Jelena! Ohhh so happy for you! A few others are buying the Bialetti, here is a tip for a new machine: when you first get your Moka, make a couple of pots with a cheap coffee as you will throw it away (the first 2 or 3 are just to prime the machine and don’t taste good), after that use the good stuff and enjoy!
Thank you for this video. I got my Bialetti Moka about a month ago and the "coffee making process" was incosistant. I knew I was not doing something correctly. This video helps a lot. Thank you for the tips and instructions.
@@photina78 the traditional way is a "chorreador" which is a cotton cloth bag you put on wood base and fill with the coffee, then you can pour the hot water there. The result coffee is not so strong so we drink a big mug!
I really appreciate your video. My husband mentioned the other day how the lattés he's been ordering haven't tasted that great. I thought I would look into an affordable way to make it at home and found your video. I immediately purchased a Bialetti 3 cup, Illy Classico and made his favorite latté at home. He was thrilled with the result! It tasted so much better than at our local coffee shop! I also enjoyed the process of making it. I don't think we will be going to a coffee shop for a long time now. Thank you!
Thank you Annalisa; I have been using my Moka pot for a few years, helped me survive COVID, and Lavazza is the only coffee I use at home. However, I was using it wrong by always turn up to high heat thought that it will generate stronger steam, your video help me enjoy my espresso even more.
You had to alert everyone that if they have a brand new Bialetti (everyone in Italy has a Bialetti Moka 😊) it's better to threw away the first two, three coffees they make. The first coffee of a new moka machine is ALWAYS disgusting! 😅 Your face is so satisfied and proud in this video! Lovely 💕
Cate! This is a super good point! Thank you! I have had a few comments of people buying the Moka and I shared this! I have mine for so long that I literally forgot 🙈 🥰🙏🏻☕️🇮🇹
Yes! I forgot this when i got a new moka pot yesterday( why did I get a new moka pot? Lets just say i found my old one ruined in the dishwasher.) she said it was so dirty🥺
If only Mr. Bialetti would know...at least twice I forgot I had my Moka on the stove and coffee boiled for an infinite amount of time...when I realized (the smell was so strong and yeah actually strange 😂) all the plastic parts of the Moka were completely melted...can you imagine how strong and strange was the smell? 😭🤢😂
Grazie mille Annalisa! We have a Moka but, when we have made the espresso in it, it was never quite what we know it to be when we enjoy it in Italy. This was a really good instructional video on how to do it right. We'll give it another try. There's nothing better than a hot, delicious espresso first thing in the morning. When we were in Rome on our last visit, we stayed in a lovely apartment right near a tiny little bar that served amazing espresso and cappuccino and wonderful cornetti. I could hardly wait for the sun to come up so we could enjoy our morning coffee. A presto! 😋❤️
Thank you for such an amazing podcast. I got a coffee just like yours and was at a loss as how to make a great cup of coffee. Now I feel better to use daily.
What a wonderful instructional video. My mother & grandmother used to make espresso all the time in this Moka. I have one but have never used it. I will now after watching this! Thank you!!
I just came back from Italy and I had the best coffee there at Sant’ Eustachio il Caffe in Roma. I’ve always used a moka pot (in Puerto Rico we call it greca), but I’ve been using it all wrong 🙈. I fill it up with water all the way and put it on high heat. I’ll try low heat and the stir to see if I notice the difference. Thanks for the tips!
I loved your video. I just met the most beautiful Italian lady! And I bought her coffee maker. I never knew that I would also gain a friend for life. We shared so many great conversations over this Bialetti! For me coffee was just a morning ritual I did on my own, on my way to work. But this little device changed my life. It made me enjoy coffee in a completely different way. Along with great conversations! I loved your video! I brought tears to my eyes, especially when you stirred the coffee, that is what Emanuela does! 😢. Thanks for sharing your personal story.
A very honest and not pretentious video about how to make a great Espresso. My new afternoon ritual is to make myself a Ciococcino… I believe I made that up not a Chococino but a Ciococcino! I take a square of at least 70% dark chocolate or a Lindt truffle ball of 60% dark chocolate and make it melt in an espresso cup. I pour the espresso coffee in that same cup mix it well and top it off with 2 tablespoons of warm 35% whipping cream (or heavy cream). It tastes amazing.
@@sarai5467 Please share your appreciation of the experiment with me and also if you found your own twist to improve it. Don’t say you added alcohol that’s cheating 😜
I have recently bought a small bialetti pot, it makes 3 very small shots or one large cup or mug with hot milk, it’s true it’s taste fantastic and I love the ritual. Next time I buy coffee it will be Lavazza. My favourite time to drink it is mid morning, guess I’m a typically English girl, as I still love a cup of tea first thing! Thank you Annalisa
I love this video! I love my Bialetti and have been through so many gaskets, but you're right it still lasts and lasts.I've been making the mistake of tamping down my espresso, so I'll leave it loose now. Thank you so much for this tutorial
I too have been tamping down the grounds, which I will now stop. Otherwise, I've been doing it right. Over the years, I've had to replace the Bialetti a couple of times due to melting the handle!
Thanks for your take on the stove top espresso maker…and happy to see you use the Bialetti. I have a good collection of Bialetti’s and find they are superior to many other brands….no issues and no drips! I never thought of stirring just after, and before serving so I thank you for that! Glad I found your video.
I absolutely LOVE her, she is just precious!! Thank you for a perfect video, I am new to this way of making coffee! I only used a French press until now! Anyways, as a new fan of your channel, I have subscribed and shared with my family to do the same! Ciao!! ❤
@@AnnalisaJ I changed my grind size to fine on my burr grinder after watching your video ...what a difference, thank ...I keep watching this ... most of the gimmicks they post here in America are just foolish such as running the lower part under cold water water brewing and other thing ...we are blessed with excellent water in my region if the country and I always let the water sit for a few days...my mother was from Greece and I felt like I was having a friendly chat with one of my aunt's ...of course I'm much older than you , but coffee also was Central to family life growing up and remains so .. ❤️
You just stepped me through my childhood with my Italian parents. Lavazza was their favourite. Leftover coffee is also good to have on hand to make tiramisù, either frozen or fresh.
I only like the Lavazza, the red and white package. I've tried other kinds and it just isn't the same to me. It's pretty bad that when I travel it goes with me!
Hello , I found a different way to make my moka , in a very stable way , day after day, so I want to share it with everyone I only use Sidamo Ethiopian, with a coarse ground ( same as with the french press) . I used hot water ( here the water is. Very good). I use the same amount of coffee as you do. As soon as the bottom of the coffee pot is covered with coffee, I take it out of the stove, till it doesn’t flow anymore. Then back on a gentle to finish , I stop again when it is gurgling again. I get a very nice flavour , and a taste that is reminiscent of the Turkish , or Greek coffee. Pardon my broken English! Oh yes, and I only use a 3 cups Bialetti. Bernard.
Thanks to you Annalisa, I can once again enjoy my coffee - black or milky! After watching so many UA-cam videos on how to use the moka pot, I was almost on the point of throwing the pot away as I didn't see the point of pre-heating the water or running the pot under cold water etc to enjoy a good cup of coffee. I just wanted an easy way to make good coffee. I follow all the steps you mention except for two. I don't use filtered water, just use water from a carafe of tap water left at room temperature and I also use Lavazza organic coffee (for Amazonia). The results have been amazing!
I love learning about your rituals! I love my coffee and especially espresso. I especially liked hearing about your favorite brands of coffee. I just love the way Italians enjoy everything I a leisurely way. Thanks for brightening my Sunday mornings!❤️
Annalisa, this is the best and clearest explanation I’ve ever encountered. Is that an espresso demitasse cup in the video, or a cappuccino size cup? Thank you, Ed
Must be timing. After watching this video, i went on FB and found someone selling a Bialetti for $5 looks in good shape so Im going to go pick it up. What a blessing. Now ordering the coffee expresso coffee on Amazon. Blessings!
I have a Bialetti who is 40 yrs old and still going strong, I just changed the gasket. My aunt told me to clean the moka once in a while with baking soda, then wipe it dry.
Thank you,.great video. I use a mokka pot often and have tried both Lavassa blends . I'll definitely try mixing as you advised. One small point, I believe espresso means pressed.out.or.forced.theough. A proper espresso needs high pressure to force the.oils.out.of the ground coffee which then forms the creme. I'm not sure you can make an actual "espresso" with a.mokko pot as there is hardly any pressure. But, your tips will help make greater coffee, so thanks. Subscribed!!!
True by technical definition of Espresso yes you need 9bars to make espresso, however here in this video I am referring to what in Italy we call “at home espresso”, which is done in every household with the Bialetti when you have a friend over and serve it in espresso cups with a treat… It’s a cultural thing! 🥰☕️
Thank you so much for this! I have another brand of this type of coffee maker, and I followed your instructions in real time- I got a perfect, strong cup of coffee (finally!) My grandfather used to spend a few hours every week making very super-strong coffee on his little machine. He called it "essencia", and he would fill up four cleaned ketchup bottles with it. When we wanted coffee, we would put some essencia into our cup and add hot water. I liked to make mine very strong. Now I can have that memory every time I make a cup. :)
Thank you so much, Annalisa! ☺️ I have tried following tips from other videos such as using soap, boiling water first but it was never quite right. I finished making espresso in the moka pot following your tips here and my espresso is so much more delicious! Grazie Mille!
I’m inspired! Ordered my coffee and Moka. Next thing you know I’ll be studying Italian! There is just something so lovely about your presentation. Happy thanksgiving Annalisa 😋
Oh my gosh I am so glad I bumped into yup and your channel! I love you! Thank you for sharing. Could you please show us HOW to make an authentic latte and cappuccino at home without any machines other than the mocha pot. Thank you so much! & how to make Iced Coffee & Cold brew also. Thank you

Thank you so much, darling! I've always hated "normal" coffee, much too bitter for my taste.
@@tatemitchell1479 Indeed. Bitter and burnt just don't suit me well. Blessings to you.
@@GoTellJesusSaves And blessings to you in return! 🥰
@@tatemitchell1479 Thank you! Gladly receiving those wonderful blessings.
❤️☕️ thank you so much Renata! I use the cubes for iced coffee or if so need to melt it for tiramisu so it’s not hot and it’s ready to go! 🥰
So happy to read this! Thank you. Enjoy ☕️✨
We just got to an airbnb in Italy and all they had was a moka pot. I watched your video, and oh wow!! Delicious!! Thank you! I am now buying a Bialeti before I leave Italy! Ciao, grazie!!
I loved reading this comment! I have now a big smile on my face ❤️❤️❤️
I love ice coffee but minus the watery ice 😂😋☕️
Thank you for the lesson. I just bought a Moka pot. This video explained everything I need to know.
I learned to make espresso in a Moka pot ten years ago and there was no going back delicious……love your videos
Right! So good!☕️🥳
Fantastic ! Finally my Coffee is drinkable! From sweden with love:-)
Aww so happy 🥰❤️
It’s such a nice pace, it forces you to slow down a bit! I love it! ❤️🥰☕️
Slowing down and connecting with people exactly what’s needed at any and all times. Have a great week.
Hello, just want to say thanks, my wife and I, started to prepare latte, capuchinos and other and we watched your video and we decide to use the lavazza mixed with the lavazza cream. And is perfect. Thanks a lot. Hello from panama city Panama.
Hello,
It was so nice o receive his comment. I am so glad you are enjoying the coffee ☕️✨
What a fantastic video! Thank you, Annalisa J, for such a thorough explanation. I am buying this coffee machine today!🌞❤
Hello Jelena! Ohhh so happy for you!
A few others are buying the Bialetti, here is a tip for a new machine:
when you first get your Moka, make a couple of pots with a cheap coffee as you will throw it away (the first 2 or 3 are just to prime the machine and don’t taste good), after that use the good stuff and enjoy!
i bought a 3cup moka and found this video and now… i’m over here sizzling out perfection! thank you!
Thank you for this video. I got my Bialetti Moka about a month ago and the "coffee making process" was incosistant. I knew I was not doing something correctly. This video helps a lot. Thank you for the tips and instructions.
Enjoy ☕️✨
I just bough my first moka pot and I am loving it so much! I live in Costa Rica and we have great coffee here but we drink it very differently!
@@photina78 the traditional way is a "chorreador" which is a cotton cloth bag you put on wood base and fill with the coffee, then you can pour the hot water there. The result coffee is not so strong so we drink a big mug!
Thank you. Love your warm smile.
Very nice video. You speech was soothing, making me want to cozy up with a cuppa.
Thank you!! Go for it! ☕️✨
Such a nice to listen voice. Water we kinda ignore, just use tap water. Good point.
Thank you!
This made me smile! Thank you for sharing!! ☕️✨
Ditto!.... except for the husband part. :)
Thank you for the wonderful tips, since moving to county I can't find a good cup of Expresso. I am ordering all your recommendations.
You are so welcome! Enjoy 🥰🤗
Thank you Annalisa; I have been using my Moka pot for a few years, helped me survive COVID, and Lavazza is the only coffee I use at home. However, I was using it wrong by always turn up to high heat thought that it will generate stronger steam, your video help me enjoy my espresso even more.
Wonderful! ☕️❤️❤️
I wasn't in a good mood until I saw your video and it changed my mood. You have a good vibe especially when you laugh
Glad I could help 🥹❤️❤️
You had to alert everyone that if they have a brand new Bialetti (everyone in Italy has a Bialetti Moka 😊) it's better to threw away the first two, three coffees they make. The first coffee of a new moka machine is ALWAYS disgusting! 😅 Your face is so satisfied and proud in this video! Lovely 💕
Cate! This is a super good point! Thank you! I have had a few comments of people buying the Moka and I shared this! I have mine for so long that I literally forgot 🙈
🥰🙏🏻☕️🇮🇹
Is it? And here I was, thinking it was my fault...😳🤣
Yes! I forgot this when i got a new moka pot yesterday( why did I get a new moka pot? Lets just say i found my old one ruined in the dishwasher.) she said it was so dirty🥺
😂😂😂
Man, your voice is so asmr thru this tutorial. This vid is going to be legendary.
😂 thank you 🙏🏻❤️
Grazie mille Annalisa! A presto! 😋❤️
Mmmhhhh i cornetti! Awww I miss those!❤️☕️🥰😋
Thank you for such an amazing podcast. I got a coffee just like yours and was at a loss as how to make a great cup of coffee. Now I feel better to use daily.
What a wonderful instructional video. My mother & grandmother used to make espresso all the time in this Moka. I have one but have never used it. I will now after watching this! Thank you!!
Janet, enjoy it! If it’s the first few uses of the pot, use a lesser quality coffee and toss it, it will prep the machine. ❤️
This video is pure meditation
I just came back from Italy and I had the best coffee there at Sant’ Eustachio il Caffe in Roma. I’ve always used a moka pot (in Puerto Rico we call it greca), but I’ve been using it all wrong 🙈. I fill it up with water all the way and put it on high heat. I’ll try low heat and the stir to see if I notice the difference. Thanks for the tips!
Enjoy ☕️💞
Great Idea to mix the Qualita Rosa and the Crema e gusto . What mix would you recommend? Thank you for the tips .
Hello Ruben, I mix in a container a pack of each. So it’s a 50/50 mix. Enjoy!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful memory ☕️✨
Rule of thumbs. :)
Great video and very helpful. I never knew you didn’t pack the espresso with the moka pot. Thank you!
This was so helpful!!!!! I was doing it all wrong! Made it exactly as you instructed using illy coffee. What a difference! THANK YOU!!
Thank you for your tips, I love coffee I use beans the dark roast, I put a pinch of salt so it won't be bitter. Thanks
I love it! I am guilty of occasionally dropping a nice square of Lindt dark chocolate into my espresso ✨🤩🥰
I will be making this tomorrow 🌹
@@sarai5467 Please share your appreciation of the experiment with me and also if you found your own twist to improve it. Don’t say you added alcohol that’s cheating 😜
@@DesignerFromMars so this morning I added a 70% dark square and it was delicious, I used the lavazza espresso as I love this blend 🌹 thank you
❤️☕️❤️🍫
I have recently bought a small bialetti pot, it makes 3 very small shots or one large cup or mug with hot milk, it’s true it’s taste fantastic and I love the ritual. Next time I buy coffee it will be Lavazza. My favourite time to drink it is mid morning, guess I’m a typically English girl, as I still love a cup of tea first thing! Thank you Annalisa
Rosemary, that mid morning coffee is FABULOUS! ✨☕️🥰
A wonderful and informative video. Thank you! 😊
So LOVELY! Never seen your videos before but I’m an instant fan. You’re just so pleasant all around!
🙏🏻 thank you!
I love this video! I love my Bialetti and have been through so many gaskets, but you're right it still lasts and lasts.I've been making the mistake of tamping down my espresso, so I'll leave it loose now. Thank you so much for this tutorial
Sue, it’s literally timeless! ❤️☕️✨
I too have been tamping down the grounds, which I will now stop. Otherwise, I've been doing it right. Over the years, I've had to replace the Bialetti a couple of times due to melting the handle!
You will probably find yourself using less gaskets?
I love the Italian smile and giggle, always so sunny!
Thanks for your take on the stove top espresso maker…and happy to see you use the Bialetti. I have a good collection of Bialetti’s and find they are superior to many other brands….no issues and no drips! I never thought of stirring just after, and before serving so I thank you for that! Glad I found your video.
With all due respect, you are adorable. Additionally, thank you for educating me on the proper use of the moka pot.
My pleasure 😊
Annalisa you have such a beautiful presence, smile and overall joyfulness about you, it inspired me to enjoy my coffee more : )
Thank you so much!! ✨☕️🤗
Thank you for sharing so many details of the process, that make the difference between a good espresso and a bad one.
You are so welcome! ✨
I absolutely LOVE her, she is just precious!! Thank you for a perfect video, I am new to this way of making coffee! I only used a French press until now! Anyways, as a new fan of your channel, I have subscribed and shared with my family to do the same! Ciao!! ❤
Absolutely agree, the world stops for me at 4pm for my Bialetti espresso, 5 minutes of heaven 😊
I love it Sally!✨☕️
This was the best moka video I've seen and I've seen and I've seen many ...a lot of people have overcomplicated . I only use Arabica
I love Arabica!! Thank you!
Yes!!!! I use it often for tiramisu!😋✨☕️
I only like the Lavazza, the red and white package. I've tried other kinds and it just isn't the same to me. It's pretty bad that when I travel it goes with me!
Lol! My coffee goes with me too 😁😂
@@AnnalisaJ my parents brought their coffee with them when they visited from another State!! 😂

Thank you for such a complete tutorial on the moka pot.!!!
Hello , I found a different way to make my moka , in a very stable way , day after day, so I want to share it with everyone
I only use Sidamo Ethiopian, with a coarse ground ( same as with the french press) .
Bernard.
Oh wow! I will have to try it! Thank you so much for the detailed instructions Bernard!!! ❤️❤️☕️🥰 your English is great ✨
Thank you so much. It’s the little tips that make the difference.
You are so welcome!☕️❤️
Thanks to you Annalisa, I can once again enjoy my coffee - black or milky! After watching so many UA-cam videos on how to use the moka pot, I was almost on the point of throwing the pot away as I didn't see the point of pre-heating the water or running the pot under cold water etc to enjoy a good cup of coffee. I just wanted an easy way to make good coffee. I follow all the steps you mention except for two. I don't use filtered water, just use water from a carafe of tap water left at room temperature and I also use Lavazza organic coffee (for Amazonia). The results have been amazing!
I am so happy to hear this! Enjoy your coffee ✨☕️❤️
Great video! I am enjoying learning Italian and all things Italian!
I love learning about your rituals! I love my coffee and especially espresso. I especially liked hearing about your favorite brands of coffee. I just love the way Italians enjoy everything I a leisurely way. Thanks for brightening my Sunday mornings!❤️
Thank you so much! It’s a nice pace of life. The coffee ritual forces you to take an extra moment in the morning, I like it 🇮🇹☕️🥰
Annalisa, this is the best and clearest explanation I’ve ever encountered. Is that an espresso demitasse cup in the video, or a cappuccino size cup? Thank you, Ed
At the end it’s a tiny Italian espresso cup. ☕️😁
@@AnnalisaJ Thank you!

Must be timing. After watching this video, i went on FB and found someone selling a Bialetti for $5 looks in good shape so Im going to go pick it up. What a blessing. Now ordering the coffee expresso coffee on Amazon. Blessings!
☕️enjoy! ☺️
I have a Bialetti who is 40 yrs old and still going strong, I just changed the gasket. My aunt told me to clean the moka once in a while with baking soda, then wipe it dry.
Yes!!! I bet the coffee is AMAZING!!! ☕️❤️
Perfect video for the espresso from top to bottom. Thank you.🎉❤❤❤
Thank you,.great video.
Excellent video. Thank you
Thank you!
Carmela such a good memory! Aww the time in the morning for coffee is so precious! So glad you made a great cup ✨☕️❤️
Great presentation.. TY...
I ❤️ my mocha pot....
Thank you so much, Annalisa! ☺️ I have tried following tips from other videos such as using soap, boiling water first but it was never quite right. I finished making espresso in the moka pot following your tips here and my espresso is so much more delicious! Grazie Mille!
Yay! I am so happy to hear this! ❤️☕️🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I really enjoyed and lear a lot watching your video.
