Hi, we have a similar clock . In transporting to our new home the weights and pendulum were removed. I feel that I have the pendulum hung correctly on the bar but cannot see how I attach the weights onto the wheels. Could you offer advice please. Thank you
The wheel should have a loop that hangs from it (the wheel should be riding on the cable, not hanging by the loop), and the weight should have a hook that goes on that loop. Make sure the cable is wrapped properly around the wheel so it doesn't get pinched between the wheel and the loop. Also make sure the cable isn't unfurled inside the movement - that can happen in transit if the pulley wasn't secured in place.
