Holy crap, a yoga mat on the workbench?!? That’s genius and cost effective! I know what I’m gonna do tonight!
Yeah - it’s great
Troy, I take the blade off a hack saw. Then I tied a sting on the knobs that were holding the saw blade. Rub the green compound on the sting and your set to sharpen those Ser-Razors in the Black Hornet. Works great!
Keep making videos, I watch everyone of them.
I been using the worksharp for a few years and it’s awesome for broadheads. Keep making good content your channel has really helped a lot of folks.
I got the elite for Christmas and been using it for touching up my foamers.
I’ve tried a dozen or more different sharpening systems over the years and this one you’re using has worked best for me with knives. I’ll try broadheads next.
Its legit.
Awesome video Troy. I have the work sharpe just for knives and it is awesome. This will be the next piece of equipment the I get for my workshop
the WorkSharp system works really well. So far, I've gotten all my knives REALLY sharp with it. Have yet to do broadheads but that is next.
thanks Troy, for all the info you put out there. I want to break more shoulders and ribs while shooting more forward!
You’ll like the results
Thanks a lot for the video!! Helped me out a lot!! Keep up on the good content!!
Wow, thanks for the tutorial! I need all the help I can get 😂
Scary freaking sharp! 👍👍 I use polishing compound on my leather strop. Makes the final edge awesome.
Great info. Thanks troy.
I have a lansky knife sharpener from way back loved it, but was cumbersome. Bought a work sharp belt sharpener and love it, not this comes out GEEZ!! Thanks for all the info you keep putting out to improve us dummies lol
They work!!
Cool machine ! Any good fisherman knows there isn’t a sharp hook that comes out of a package! Just like broad heads they need to be sharpened! I love my stay sharp guides stupid simple and it’s set up for the iron wills I shoot. Keep snapping jaws and shooting straight RF
I’ve used both the stay sharp and worksharp for iron wills and this machine is much faster and gets them even sharper. It sharpens the blade and tanto tip at the same time unlike the Stay Sharp
I will be shooting the Black Hornet Ser Razor this year and i got a great deal on this sharpener. Quick question, you sharpened the ser razor side (front blades) do you sharpen the back angle as well?
This was exceptionally helpful. Thank you!
No, the interruptions are cut through, not beveled.
Look at them closely - you'll understand.
What if you rigged up a rattail file that stone cylinder assembly
Another way to sharpen in the serrated area is by rubbing buffing compound on cardboard and folding up an area.
When will the ranch fairy broadheads be back in stock?
Just got mine yesterday. They've been sexified a bit - few changes we made.
Next 30 days.
Hey Troy, is there a reason you used the older WS precision adjust instead of the newer pro precision adjust? Is there any difference that makes the older model better for the black hornets?
Also, tying your twine/string to a small, flexible stick and making a little bow makes it easier to sharpen the serations.
I mentioned both and just used the middle priced one.
Get us a round stone for concave heads. Simmons land shark’s
Why do you call it the Foamer?
Can you use with the stingers and buzzcuts ?
Yes you can. Same Process.
@@RanchFairy can you post a video of it?
@@anthonyalvarado837
