Thank you so much Cat, I really really enjoyed watching you create these amazing and gorgeous index cards. It’s always a great pleasure to watch you create too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
🙂🙂🙂☕💗☕ you made my day with another one of my favorite Rolodex videos from you. There is nothing better waking up to a great cup of coffee and enjoying a Rolodex video from my favorite artist🌺🌸🌼🦋 hope you have a wonderful day
What a wonderful collection of index cards you have. Loved everyone of you’re creations, such a variety of materials and colours coming together so beautifully. Oh I have never thought of putting the words ‘create’ and ‘Joy’ together, love that. My parents had a couple of the cute wooden ducks, they have now waddled over to live with the neighbours. Thank you for sharing you’re creativity.
Oh my goodness, Cat. Great video, as always. Your precious cards encourage me to create. You have the best ideas! Thanks for sharing. I’m getting over Covid and Covid pneumonia. I can’t wAit to feel up to making cards again. This brightened up my day! Love you, lady. ❤️
Oh wow, Cindy - I sure hope you will be feeling better soon. I know that must be rough… 😞 Thank you for your kind words - I’m glad that you enjoyed the video and SO happy that it was a bright spot in your day! 😃 Praying that you’ll be back to creating in no time! 🙏🏻
Seems like magic doesn’t it?!? It’s less than 18 minutes of OUR time- but my guess is it’s quite a bit more of her time. Both (keeping it short for us, but taking the time to create such fun stuff) much appreciated 🤗 In order to not be frustrated with how long stuff takes ME to do-I have to remind myself about watching craft videos that often much of it was sped up, much was edited out … that time adds up-
Thanks so much, Gloria! I had roughly an hour and 15 minutes of footage in this video, plus there was maybe 30 minutes of prep time, that went into it - picking out focal images, etc. I’m happy to be able to scale it down some for my videos. Hugs to you as well! 😊😊😊
Seeing this Rolodex video from you was the bright spot in my day Cat, thanks so much! I love those fashionista ducks with their polka dot boots! I don’t suppose you could list the catalogs you receive, so that we could send for them too? I’m always cutting out cute things for my Rolodex and index cards too. My sister and I share Rolodex cards through the mail, and it’s fun to see what she’s found to cut out in her area. I plan to mail them to my granddaughter too, since she’s starting college and getting her first apartment soon. When we visit my dear Mom in law, she immediately hands me her deluge of catalogs, because she she knows how much I love to cut out little treasures for my creative projects. My Mom saves me the section of her paper with the Sudoku and crossword puzzles, so snippets of these will surely make it onto my cards too. Thanks for always inspiring me and sharing so freely with us. Hope you’re enjoying summer and staying healthy.
Thank you, Linda. 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed his video and that you’re having fun creating with, and for, your family. I have gotten a lot of images from two catalogs in particular - Uncommon Goods and one called Uno Alla Volta. I don’t know if they have a catalog request on their websites, but both sites can be found at the catalog name .com. Happy creating! 😃
I too love those little wooden ducks with the rubber boots and those beautiful birds; do you sell those or can you tell me where I could possibly get them. I adore these little rolodex cards... what a wonderful way to be creative and get your juices flowing without spending hours on a project. Thank you for sharing.
Those birds are art by Geninne Zlatkis. I love her bird art so much that I buy her 17-month calendar every year. They are chock full of her beautiful bird images! The birds I used on the rolodex card were from this year’s book for 2021-2022, called Birds of a Feather. It is unfortunately out of print now, but you may find one somewhere… Here’s my Amazon affiliate link for this year’s calendar (2022-2023), which I just ordered, as it begins with August of 2022: amzn.to/3NIpMVz
