Dimeng Yuan has a fun approach to his piece from what I notice while Yu-Peng Chen focuses on the theme and serious feeling that the character is about Both are good, maybe they can just alternate depending on the character given
Yu-peng Chen didn't actually make this specific song, but is credited as the composer because he composed the melody. Xin Zhao actually arranged the song and made it sound the way it does, and credits YPC because he used his melody. Just to clarify, Yu-peng Chen didn't write Novatio Novena.
I know, right? Compared to the standard character demo compositions, Furina's was an entire bloody *cinematic production* of its own! Mon dieu- the theatrics, the flair, the ✨pizazz✨ Was so surprised by the quality (and I mean...come on, electro swing). Definitely one of my favourites ♫ ♪
Before Fontaine released, there was some schmegegge speculating that the soundtrack for Fontaine would be underwhelming as it went with known European symphonic inspirations. People suspected it was just going to be that along with some jazz and generic French folk music. So I am so glad that there's a piece, for Furina no less, that goes against the grain while still embracing Fontaine's inspirations with very French style electroswing.

Wandering theme got me levitating Faruzan theme is also good af. Althathim is a great bop too. Baizhu is beautiful as well Chinese music at its finest. Neuvillette got me singing his chorus truly a tragic yet redemptive theme. Furina them brings me so much joy despite the archon suffering.

@@davidhwang5838 Yes, in French 31 is basically the "perfect" number so anything to do with it is to communicate something impeccable, tbh it's used very often in French for other meaning too from what i can tell
