If you have tried hybrid picking before and considered to feel a bit awkward, Prashant's approach may be just what you need. He first starts by focusing on the rhythm aspect of the technique while keeping the left hand simple. Give it a try, stick with it, and perhaps you can add a new dimension to your playing!

5:59 for the next minute is the best lesson in music you will ever hear.
Thanks..wow..you must be some kind of expert professional to make that claim..we'll surely listen to you.
Thank you. You are an excellent music teacher. I love how you explain but still focus on the creative aspect of playing.
Loving the multiple camera angles very 11 o'clock news
I really like that guitar
It's been a while since I really fealt I am learning something awsum for the repratraua this was a great vedio, great instruction, great instructor , a must have technique wow factor 100%..
Cool video, and I like his playing style! Reminds me a bit of Guthrie Govan but with less shred.
This tequiniqe can help you play chords like a piano player can by hiting all notes in a chord at onces. You can also get different tone than using a pick and it can help you create riffs and licks that you could never do with a pick. If you have a 7 string go check out On Impulse by Aninals as Leaders and learn it. It can help you develop your hybrid picking technuique. Even though practacing Hybrid Picking with light string is easier, you fingers can get so strong if yoy practice hybrid picking with medium or heavy strings.
Love your ESP
I love the lesson, and I really love that esp. I’m wanting to customize me one . Can you give me any specs of that guitar.
Just getting my hybrid going. What's the two ways at around 8:35? Look and sound the same.
Got it. Just switching from pinky or ring. Why though?
excelente
the chords he played at 10:48 sound amazing. someone please tell me what they were
Try copying his hands
Actually I did, and I got it. But like everything else, PRACTICE!! And I'm still unsure on what types of chords were used
Thanks ***** this is really helpful. I appreciate you taking the time out to do this
a good way to find the chord ots by looking at the first base not usually the root note🎶🎶
@@JoshuaKelleyTech hi josh it's A minor 7/11, then he just moves up...A (root), on the e string, G (septime) on the d string C (minor third) on the g string and D(eleven)or 4th + an octave on the b string...good luck cheers
Solid lesson
so true.
Cool teacher
Is that an Ibanez body with an ESP neck?
+guitardavepdx
ESP Custom shop if i'm not mistaken
Bret Garsed is so under rated its not even funny
My fingers don't sound as loud as the plectrum.
Maybe a compressor would help? Wanna buy one myself
Adegoke Tobi Gonna take time.

never used a pick in 35 years of playing and not planing to use it in the future
Well you'll always be missing out on hybrid picking....I use both and enjoy the flexibilty.
Ok boomer
Wow what an unpleasant sound for the intro.
Wow, what a useless opinion.
Very sloppy for a guitar teacher
Such a long video!
it's got some good tips but there's no real need of so much talking of things the audience probably is not interested.
