- Boat Ramp 17 is a nice boat ramp it is a free boat ramp has bathrooms, some picnic tables for day use No camping here. there is no in water floating boat tie up. No garbage cans so Pack it in Pack it out!! Making these video's so you can see ground level if this boat ramp is right for what you want to do. I came here last week and it was closed for the season, the entrance for the military i was told everywhere is closed for fishing but the overlook dam . Anyone know if there is an open free place to fish?
You know with the covid situation some places are open during the week and closed on the weekend and some of the parks are having draw deer hunts and are closed while that's going on. One place I know that's been open is Old Hancock trail that has close access to the water I have a video on it's called... Walk by the lake found something weird ... that is Old Hancock Trail and I know people fish there and I know it's free. Hope this helps.
