Chopin would be so proud of Bruce. I listened to the final and all three galas just wanna say thanks for this amazing performance.

Ok, his parents are proud, his teacher is proud, his conservatory is proud, his country is proud, but why would Chopin be proud?

Clearly, he would love to take some break first, process the win, be with himself and his family and friends, and only than start to give concerts. One can feel the little dissapointment that he must get into that busy schedule right away after winning the competition. I feel for him. Wish him all the best and finding the good balance between his private life and giving concerts and interviews.

This also shows the diverse culture Canada has as a country. We represent over 200 nationalities who call Canada their home.

Hey buddy, take care of yourself. The great Horowitz had a nervous breakdown and doubted his abilities. Many artists within every discipline have suffered emotional and psychological difficulties. Even though some of us of lesser abilities as yours greatly appreciate people like you, you do not owe anyone your sanity and happiness.

Yes from all the interviews he seemed to be nostalgic for home.
Life of a concert pianist can be brutally lonely. Public adoration and ovation cannot beat the happiness of feeling at home

Indeed, it’s inhuman to hold all the prize winners to have the tour concerts immediately after the stressful competition without a small break.

He’s got the right hair to be a musician. All messed up. He looks like a young Beethoven. You can always tell an artist with passion - they 86 the comb and hair gel.

He is only 25. I think he must feel very stressful for the huge responsibility. After win the championship, they need to give him some time to break and rest to recover. He has so many hobbies, maybe piano is not everything for him. I can feel that he is not fully prepared for the music career. He also said he doesn’t want to change his lifestyle and be himself.

He looks fine, just tired which is understandable. He’s also learning to adjust to the fame of winning the Chopin competition and the demands of being a newly minted concert artist. He is living his dreams which he has worked so hard for. I’m happy for him.
