and now for another Mario show episode.
This will be another standard edition episode and this will be a season 10 episode this time around, meaning it will have Walker Boone voicing Mario and the emu proteus synthesizers (still used on the show to this very day, making it one of the shows into the 2010’s and even 2020’s to still use the emu proteus synthesizers) and the only season with the emu proteus synthesizers to have Walker Boone as Mario as seasons 11-42 have the emu proteus synthesizers paired with Charles martinet as Mario, and beginning with season 43 it will have Kevin Afghani as Mario and still use the emu proteus synthesizers.
This episode will be titled Mario’s fun in Cincinnati.
This will air on November 1st 1991 which is the same day Fantasia the 1940 Disney movie came out on vhs and laserdisc as part of the Walt Disney classics line, even though the cover for that tape said Walt Disney’s masterpiece.
This will be a 2 hour prime time pledge drive special.
Mario welcomes the viewers, and he announces that a girl named Allie invited the Mario show cast to hang out with her in the Cincinnati/northern Kentucky area.
Instead of using their magic powers, they get plane tickets and decide to fly from Marioland to Cincinnati/northern Kentucky international airport in northern Kentucky.
They arrive at the airport, and then they use their magic powers to head to Covington kentucky where Allie and her family lives.
They arrive magically in a neighborhood in that city.
They see different houses, and a little girl apparently comes out of one of the houses, it’s Allie.
She waves at Mario, Luigi, peach, and daisy, and they all head to her house.
She, her parents, and her little brother Jake greet them.
Allie is 5 years old and in kindergarten while her brother Jake is 3 years old.
The parents made lunch for the Mario show cast and it’s spaghetti and meatballs.
Everyone eats their meatballs, and then the main cast, Allie and Jake decide to watch 3 different pbs kids shows on 3 different pbs stations.
They watch a Sesame Street episode on WCET the main station for Cincinnati, a shining time station episode on KET Kentucky Educational Television which is the area’s tertiary pbs station and the statewide Kentucky pbs station, and they watch a mister rogers neighborhood episode on WPTO now also known as think tv 14 which is Cincinnati’s secondary pbs station, and these 3 are the pbs stations for the Cincinnati/northern Kentucky media market.
They all eat lunch and then play in her room, and then Allie’s dad calls everyone downstairs.
He announces that they are all going to have dinner on the famous Cincinnati dinner train.
Instead of driving, Allie’s parents let Mario and his friends use their magic powers to take them to the train station.
Everyone grabs their tickets, and then they all wait for the train to arrive.
The train arrives and everyone boards the train.
The train travels through Cincinnati, and suburbs in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
It was dinner time, and everyone gets their food.
Everyone eats their food, and enjoys the ride through the Cincinnati area.
Then the train arrives at first downtown Cincinnati, and then back to Bond hill.
After getting off at bond hill, the main cast and allie and her family head back to Allie’s house using Mario’s magic powers.
The next day Allie and the Mario show cast wake up and come down for breakfast having pancakes and syrup, and then it was announced they were going to a Cincinnati reds game, followed by walking around downtown Cincinnati.
They once again use Mario’s magic powers to head from Allie’s house, this time to riverfront stadium which was the reds stadium from 1970-2002 before being replaced by great American ballpark.
They watch the reds play the New York Mets, and during the bottom of the seventh inning, here comes trouble.
Bowser arrives on the field and storms the field, but eventually the ballpark security and Cincinnati police catch him and take him to Mario.
The security says WELL LOOK WHO WE FOUND HERE, THIS MONSTER STORMED THE FIELD.
Mario says BOWSER DID YOU REALLY STORM THE FIELD.
    Bowser says YES I DID.
Mario says ARE YOU KIDDING ME BOWSER.
I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WOULD RUIN THIS CINCINNATI REDS BASEBALL GAME BY STORMING THE RIVERFRONT STADIUM BASEBALL FIELD.
YOU KNOW DOING THAT CAN GET YOU KICKED OUT STADIUMS AND EJECTED, AND IT IS NEVER A GOOD IDEA TO STORM BASEBALL FIELDS.
YOU HAVE CAUSED CONFUSION AND DELAY.
NO TV FOR 2 MONTHS FOR YOU BOWSER.
The security officer says YOU ARE ALSO BANNED FROM THIS BALLPARK FOR THE REST OF THE MLB SEASON.
The police officer says YOU ARE ALSO UNDER ARREST AND JAILED FOR 2 MONTHS, NOW COME WITH ME TO THE POLICE CAR RIGHT NOW.
Allie says THANKS A LOT BOWSER YOU MEAN MONSTER FOR RUINING MY DAY AT THE REDS GAME. SHAME ON YOU.
Bowser says I HATE THAT PLUMBER, BALLPARK SECURITY OFFICER, POLICEMAN, AND BLONDE HAIRED KINDERGARTEN GIRL.
The game continues and the reds go on to win 7-5.
Now it’s time to walk around Cincinnati and explore the city and landmarks.
After exploring the city and downtown, they all head back to Allie’s house.
After going back to Allie’s house, Mario and his friends say bye to Allie and her family and head back to Marioland.
Mario talks about the day and signs off.
This has the seasons 10-11 funding, and the 1989 pbs 3D glass logo fully animated with the fanfare.

And now for a very special Mario show episode.
This one will be a season 20 standard edition episode called Luigi’s grateful Green Day.
This will air on November 7th 2001 making this episode 2048 or season 20 episode 48.
Luigi welcomes the viewers and he announces that he is setting up a party themed to the color green, and he will be inviting characters from other tv shows that are green.
Luigi gathers up the main cast (who are all wearing green made specifically for this episode), and off they go to the downtown Marioland circle park, and they simply walk from the group house to the park.
Luigi and the main cast set up the games and then we see character from different tv shows colored green.
We see Kermit the frog from the muppets and Sesame Street, Zak from dragon tales and one of the rare times he is separated from Wheezie just like the episode not separated at birth, Dipsy from Teletubbies (he does wear his hat in this), Treelo from bear in the big blue house, baby bop from Barney and friends, Larry the cucumber from veggietales, Dorothy the dinosaur from the wiggles, and surprisingly Oscar and Grudgetta the grouches from Sesame Street, plus we also get Percy, Henry, and Duck from Thomas and friends (yes the 3 engines had permission from sir Topham hatt to attend the party), and we even get Terry the tugboat from another fanmade pbs kids show the big harbour (he’s voiced by Danny Devito), plus we also get holly and Steven from the same aforementioned show wearing green shirts.
Let the grateful Green Party begin.
They eat green foods, and they even sing some songs, and they even sing it’s not that easy being green from Sesame Street and the muppets (this arrangement will be in b flat major and scored by Bob singleton using the emu proteus synthesizers).
Then everyone plays a green themed treasure hunt to find green things all over the park and all over Marioland.
After the game ends, they dance to some songs, and eat more food.
The party eventually ends and everyone heads back to their dimensions or to their residences in Marioland (Marioland residents are also in attendance wearing green), or even to the real world (real world people also attend and they are wearing green).
Luigi talks about the day and signs off, and no Mario show villains or grumps with the only villains or grumps appearing in general are Oscar and Grudgetta from Sesame Street but they don’t cause any trouble.
Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes beach from 2000 at the beginning or kelloggs Froot Loops jungle from 2001 at the end appear first, then Chuck E. Cheese’s laughing from 2001 in one of its earliest appearances on a pbs show, and last is juicy juice from 2001-2006 2001-2003 Mario show version.
This has the green background of the viewers like you plug with Luigi which is fitting because Luigi’s outfit is green, the episode focuses on him, and it’s an episode focused on the color green (keep in mind not all episodes focused on Luigi use the green background), and even more fitting is that this episode ends with the 1999 pbs kids dash logo with correct audio which is also fitting because the cast and other tv show characters go out on a treasure hunt and treasure hunts require thinking and solving clues.
How did you like this green themed Mario show episode and what was fitting about it?
