Unexpected Happiness | Who knew a car ride could be so heartwarming?

- It was late morning when we got into our car, started the car engine then we saw this bird perched on the windshield. I was thinking it might be sick or just wanted to rest. But after waiting for about 5 minutes, it didn’t flew away.
I was too excited and truly ignorance about this small and cute bird. We decided not to speed up but drove our car slowly and carefully because we did not want to create fear for it.
It followed us for more than 3 minutes and it finally flew away after more and more cars on the street.
Please let me know what you think and help identify what bird is that.

That was a baby bird. Baby sparrows have yellow beaks. It was waiting on your car for the parents to come feed it. You drove it away from the parents that were caring for it.
Oh no, what should I do? :( I had no experience, what ashamed of me! But why it can fly so high if it is still a baby? Now I am sad… how can I bring him back to the mother sparrow? But there is no bird nest or big tree near our parking. There are two trees but quite a distance away but no nest is seen there. I was in tears while typing this… actually I was feeling weird why it didn’t want to fly away even we had closed our car doors quite hard. We only saw it after our car engine was turned on 😢 if only I knew it is still a baby bird, I would carry it and put it down on a safe place near a bush. Please forgive me, baby sparrow and your mom :(
Thank you so much for telling me, I learnt something from my mistake. Actually I should cancel going for the ride after waited for about 5 minutes. That was a sign of something wrong already. The baby bird needed help :(
Hopefully it will be able to find food or it will find other birds who will show it how to survive. Don't feel bad. You're not to blame because you didn't know. I wasn't trying to criticize, just trying to make people aware.
