- Watch the 4 link and air suspension in action. Truck will need some more attention for sure, mainly in the front end/steering department. Thanks for watching everyone!

Glad to see your videos again...
I'm voting for a flatbed build for it 👍 great video keep 'em coming
Flatbed build for sure!
Hammering these videos out! Another great video!
Incredible build !!!
Can't wait to get back to work I'm definitely air bag swapping my gmt400 lol
I put that same sending unit in my 02 24v truck and it has the block mounted lift pump I gutted the intake pump part and ran the hoses to the bottom of the unit it’s been working for several months now
all of the 5.9s even 24v had the lift pump on the side of the block. Dodge made a service bulletin for those lift pumps and made the whole kit to switch to the pump in the tank. You can still probably get them from the dealership if you wanted to.
You can use the factory hitch with the rollpan. From what I'm seeing on the 2g's you just need to move it back a hole. There's videos of it on UA-cam. On the 3g I had to spend $500 on the BHP receiver because the 3rd gen hitches are absolute garbage units. I bought the $85 rollpan too and fitment was questionable but isn't noticeable from a distance.
The fuel level reading is off for a 94 using a 98-02 sending unit because the resistance for the 94-97 sender board is different then the 98-02. Genos garage has replacement Vulcan sending units for both though.
Good to know 👍🏼
A tractor type flatbed would be cool. Basically like an over the road hotshot bed.
My vote is flatbed basic hotshot style
Flatbed for sure. The deck on your trailer almost seems to low for a regular bed to begin with.
It is, it’s made for a flatbed truck
I have a 2g cluster lying around if needed. I'm headed to Florida in the coming weeks. Don't have an exact date yet.
It surely wouldn’t hurt to try 😁
I vote flat bed it. But I am biased and love a good flatbed look 😂
Love the channel. Why did you opt for a tank pump sending unit versus a lift pump upgrade
Cost mainly
@@j_moffitt good honest answer
What do you do with the old pump on the side of the block
For now it’s still there, haven’t tested whether or not I can run without it.
Quick question, how does it ride, unloaded an loaded. Im in the middle of mine, just makin sure its gonna pay off. Thanks for all your work too!
Better than before
Awesome, thanks man
How about your air compressor setup and all those components. Can you send link for that
Your version of a hotshot bed!
Where did you mount your shocks & how much range does it have?
Factory location
looks like the rear track bar needs adjusting, air bags are not straight.
how do you get away with out using hiem joints on the 4 link bars?
I’m sneaky like that
Also, what kind of fuel pressure does that in tank pump make? Not worried about fuel starvation??
Haven’t gotten that far yet but right now it is still feeding the mechanical pump so starvation shouldn’t be a problem.
Do you wire fuel pump to key on or use a relay. Also can you leave the engine pump. I am working on a 97 and have the same issue of locating one without pump.
There is already a fuel pump relay in the fuse box in the engine bay (at least mine does) and I don’t know if it is run off the computer or not but mine wouldn’t kick on until I grounded out the relay. That relay is already wired for key on function. I also left the mechanical pump on for now until I can test it and see if I can get away without it.
Has it needed a swaybar yet?
Nope
Dodge death wobble on front?
Not necessarily “death wobble”, just a typical dodge with terrible steering.
What trailer is that?
One that I built
What size bags are those, where you get them?
Link should be in description
@panicfab how much height does the bag gain from empty to full
@boperry3551
You can cross check the part numbers and find out some specific information but I think compressed height is 5.5” and max is 14”
