Some of the select few of the philippine military train as us army ranger, us army sf and us navy seal. And then they teach and apply what they learn to the their unit. Pretty cool

Noong nag aaral pa ako sa college ito na talaga ang pangarap ko. Nag hihinge rin ako ng mga tips and advice sa classmate ng kuya ko na former navsog operator. at sa mga sinabi nia sa akin, isa lang ang masasabi ko.
Ang tibay, tatag at tinik talaga ng mga NAVSOG pagdating sa traing at sa labanan.
Unfortunately hindi na kmi naka meet ng classmate ng kuya ko for some reasons, pero when I was in davao I got to meet an actual seal/NAVSOG Operator. grabe talaga ang pag hanga ko sa mga seal.
I hope my maka tulong sa akin maging isang NAVSOG, I am a college grad. with 2 national cert. (EIM & Driving), I am alsop a cert. first aider trained by the Sultan Kudarat Emergency Response Team.

As an American soldier and a former Philippine Army soldier, also a Law Enforcement officer in Alaska my great advices are:
1.) Avoid creating unwanted attention. 2.) Observe everything around. 3.) Be a team player. 4.) Don't quit / Never give up.

Back in highschool when going home from NLEX i would often see these men on a Navy truck because of their distinctive brown tiger camo uniforms.
The Philippines really have good soldiers inspite of lacking equipments but at the end of the day, the Philippine Army will get stronger.

Mali kayo dalawa, silent professional ay ang scout rangers, they assign in jungle warfare kaya nga tinawag silang musang kase tahimik lang pero delikado, mas kilala sila sa tahimik na pag gapang sa mga rebelde.
For me any special forces like SR, NAVSOG SEAL, Force Recon, Airborne Regiment, LRF and others are silent professionals.

May nakasama akong former SEAL operator noon sa barko ko sa 2go 14 years sya sa unit nya pero lumipat na sya sa pagiging vessel escort kumukuha sya ngayon ng experience sa 2go Group kasi balak nyang mag abroad or mag cruise ship.
Brown Viking You’d be surprised how many of the operators here get contracted by foreign military contractors. I hear it’s good pay.
tama ka mego...serbisyo ka muna ng 10yrs sa navsog bago ibigay sayo ang diploma...at ang iba nag abroad nasa cruise ship sila at sbra demand sila sa abroad.. same lang din yan sa marsog... kung lag abroad tlaga napaka demand sa mga cruiseship company...
correction lang mego... wag mo tawagin ex-seal operator.... dahil umalis sila sa serbisyo na honorable discharge at hindi nagkakaso.. tawagin mo former seal operator.. ✌️

Me too I've seen 2 operators Coming out of the camp but that's unusual because they usually like to stay inside the camp.

There’s not much info what guns they use but as far as i know, they probably share the same weapons as the Marines right? R4 carbines, Glock pistols, M40A5, Barrett, and an M2 Browning. They also use a G36 and an M60E4, i saw pics of them.
Most of our troops share the same equipment afp-wide. Their rifles are mostly an m4 variant while the LMGs are mostly Daewoo variants.
If you’ve been to one of their static displays, they lay out all their equipments for the public to examine. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they don’t do those much these days.

You can still join, sir. Under the reserves. Since lagpas na po sa age limit, pero gusto nyo po paring mag lingkod, the best option is to join the reserves. Thru BCMT - Basic Civilian Military training (ARESCOM) or MOT - Military Orientation Training (AFPRESCOM) Either under Arescom (Army reserve command. ) or AFPRESCOM. (AFP reserve command.) Libre po ang training. Mag report lang po kayo sa pinaka malapit na Community defense centers ninyo to sign up. Or kung sa AFPRESCOM naman doon po sa GHQ sa Camp Aguinaldo. Just wear the proper attire and haircut. (White round neck shirt. Tucked in, Blue maong pants, belt and white socks and rubber shoes, 3 by 4 hair cut. )
Taliwas po sa mga nakasaad sa mga post ang training po sa reserves ay flexible sa age limit. Kasi kahit doon po sq Afprescom, meron pa pong 61 years old na nagte training pa as long as physically and mentally fit.
