I connected it straight to 12volt power when the car is on you can connect it to your fuse box just hook up a test light to see which one is on with the key on

Sorry on the late response hopefully you were able to figure it out if not I just got a brass fitting from Home Depot to connect to the back of the carburetor so I could connect the brake booster line to it

No I did not have to make new holes I used the original ones
If the carb has an electric choke but you don’t plan to use it will it run different not plugged in??
Yes it will run not how it should if you don’t plan on using a carb with electric choke probably should go with one that’s manual if that makes sense
