  • In this video my dad will make a forge for under $20
    We had the turkey burner laying around so we din't include that in the price. The only thing we had to buy was fire brick for the inside layer of the forge. Make sure you us a turkey burner that has an adjustable regulator (very Important). We used a Similar style for Kyle's first Forge. It's a beginners forge, something that you can make right now and start forging something! You don't need to start out with $500 to make a professional forge, just need $20 to make a beginners forge ;)

      I like his videos also but I like them being on Kyles channel. It adds variety and it's a one stop channel for great content. If the Royer's have a new video out I'm watching.

    Been thinking about building a forge watching a lot of videos today this is by far the most entertaining and the most informative I just happen to have a s*** ton of neighbors to borrow stuff from lol I already got an old broke down turkey fryer behind the shed and a hundred pound tank of propane just need the fire brick

      Good to hear my friend. Remember the idea of narrowing stuff is get to know our neighbors better and to return a good deed done to us. Have fun with it. Be safe and be careful my friend

      The spirit of building the inexpensive $20 forge was to get a chance to meet your neighbors in your neighborhood and to involve them in some of your activities and find if there may be any common interest.
      It’s hard to beat a strong community.
      Building a $20 forge is just one of many ways to do that
      Thanks for the shout out. And a shout out back to you and your 10-year-old.

    It creates a good relationship with neighbors to borrow things without Permission or borrow things all the time!

      Going to disagree with that my friend. The spirit is to create community through communication with neighbors. Borrowing things or help from neighbors builds a strong community. It flows both ways. Cheers neighbor

    Gonna give a psa to anyone new to gas forges propane tanks they are designed to go full blast after like half a turn so if something does go wrong you can quickly shut off the gas supply. (Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)

    Was it a 🐍 or was it a 💩? Lol juuus playin'. I enjoy hearing your thought process, Jeff, you definitely seem to know how to make due with what you have and I wish I had that type of handiness myself. Also, I've admired that anvil for a long time and have always wondered who made it or where it came from, it would be a dream to have that much mass. That's pretty incredible for a homemade anvil, and out or a solid chunk of steel nonetheless. Did you say it used to be counterweight of some sort? Is it made from mild steel? Thanks for sharing guys!

      We didn’t. We just somehow accumulated them over the years from other fun projects we did.👍🏻
      The spirit of the vid is to Encourage us all to get to know your neighbors by borrowing something from them or borrowing something to them, in order to stimulate dialogue and commonroddery possibly even finding some common interest with the other men or neighborhood kids. • @KyleRoyerKnives
      @KyleRoyerKnives  3 роки тому

      Absolutely not my friend. Go get to know your neighbors and interact with them by borrowing to them and borrowing from them in turn developing relationships and sharing our lives with others near us. The journey is more fun when we bring people along with us. A forging project is just a delivery device to develop good neighbor relationships. Cheers my neighbor
