What was the cost in chemicals and time to achieve the results meaning is it worth the time and what does it do to the environment around you you do it a very opened area no scrubbers gloves etc.
The costs totally depend on your system which you want to run this process. I could be done only using wood as the fuel (but yeah a bit nasty due to the smokes) But if you want to use lead i suggest using a scrubber or at least a good gas mask and far from your home backyard! Around 1-2 % of lead oxide turns into the fine dust as a smoke and it will cover the environment around you. But if you want a safer way use direct smelting and running through a copper sulfate cell to get the gold and other PMs. In the end Yes it is worth it with a good e waste price pick up and considering the above details.

The sodium feeicyanide methode won't work for the ics and bga and plated pins??
Only Thiosulfate and ferricyanide can't dissolve the gold bonding wires just gold platings and ammonia should be added.
