Creed was so far ahead of their time and it was unfortunate that Scott Stapp had such deep rooted alcoholism and addiction problems that led to their demise. He’s doing great now though and they’re doing a reunion on a Cruise Ship of all things. These guys are amazing live and I’ll just say that the voice is really powerful and can’t really be matched. Mark Tremonti is also the most underrated guitarists of the current generation and is so damn good.
THey respect that each band had their own hardships to overcome to be recognized, thus giving them something in comon.. If you think you can do better, go ahead and give it a shot. But don't Bitch about bands that you dont like because they most likely had to work very hard to get where they are. Every band and musician deserves respect. Any true musician would know this.
Go see them live before you judge - you don't sell 50 million albums because you suck - Stapp has ridiculous stage presence and aura and power in his voice !

However seeing as back then I was working 40 hours a week, going to school 40 hours a week, as well as going to the doctor three times a week...I can see how that got past me at the time.

Who knows maybe you are already, but if not get the Aenema c.d. or Undertow by TOOL and you will be a fan forever if you like true music. They have a few other albums but start with those and you will see why they are the best band of this generation.

IMHO, However, Scott does appear to be having trouble on this song...and backups don't help...it could be the first or last song of the night...or the cold...or not warmed up. It's hard to tell without seeing the whole concert. I loved Creed, but due to egos, self-righteousness, damaged vocal cords, separatism, they have gone the way of other has beens. Alter Bridge never beat Creed.
