They arent as good, how? Most great bands had their primes when in their youth, call it their 20's. More intensity, more bad choices and decisions, wild at times.... immature. Like all of us, really. Then the great bands have their mature stage as they age. Creed sounds fkn great right now in their mature stage. Life lessons learned, make better decisions, more settled in, play better together etc... I was more wild and fun in my 20;s than I am now at 51. Does that mean i was better back then? lol
