Interesting list and I appreciate the breakdown. I started looking in to Bowat and thought that he looked like a decent left back cover for Struijk. Similar profile to Wober so in theory you could cash in on Wober and then buy him for a lot less. Querfeld would be a nice option to have but I don't think would come especially if we have Rodon. Similar stats but again his advantage is his age so possible he can improve further but like you said probably unrealistic.
Love the work Locky, but we need 2 or 3 CB's maybe a young right footer to replace Cresswell and back up to Rodon or a similar profile and a left footer as replacement for Coops and back up for Pascal thats why we were linked with Torunarigha.
Ye exactly, I agree. It’s hard ri say fully at the moment given we don’t know the fate of Rodon but even if he stays we 100% need a young back up that Farke trusts and unfortunately that sadly doesn’t seem to be Cresswell. Ye Torunarigha and smith both do similar things in terms of ball progression from the back although they are a different style of defender.

Haven’t we got CB’s in the U21’s Diogo Montero for example, we need to be looking at what we have properly and in depth before we go out splashing money around, especially as Farke won’t be here after December. Jeremiah Mullen is one of the best Young defenders I have seen for a while and both players are at the club NOW, both internationals. My only gripe is we aren’t looking at our own first. It’s obvious Herr Farke isn’t going to play Cresswell and this will put a lot of these youngsters off from coming to Leeds this is what I’ve been talking about and why I’m always mentioning Joseph because these youngsters know each other and speak to each other via social media and the fact that a player scores two goals against Chelsea and the following game gets zero minutes which Leeds lost by the way speaks volumes to youngsters we as a club are hoping to recruit.
Every club has promising young players in there youth academy and you could make your argument for every single position so see we just not signing any one then ? Diogo is a young player but hasn’t even been on the bench so to not invest in a position where we literally have 1 player and rely solely o young players is silly. Mullen went on loan to Scotland and didn’t play. Again he needs more time to develop. Lopata-white is one i think could really push himself higher than the others. Regardless we are short in that position and obviously need to bring in a CB. You seriously think we replace Rodon with a youth prospect as appose to bringing in a top pro at this level ????

Ye a good player that I honestly had no idea about until about 3 weeks ago. But really impressed with what I saw and seems like he’s massively improved this season. I guess it’s similar to Ben White in the sense it’s a young British Cb who’s not known until he is .. ye Querfeld would be class until I saw people linking him to athletico Madrid 😂 but you never know.
Farke seemed to be saying he wants more aerially dominant players in the squad (although Cresswell, Cooper and Struijk are all v good but 2 he wouldn't play and one was injured). Set pieces at either end could make all the difference

Good quotation. There was 2, 1) Josh flint - looking at the linked CB profiles I think he’s too short for a Farke CB option he’s only 5’10 I honestly thought he was taller. 2) Xavier Mbuyamba - sadly has missed most of the season with “heart problems” which is sad to see.

But they will cost 10 to 15 million John, that’s the point. Clubs in Holland, Belgium and Germany will take 5-10 at a push for most of these players as they are not as rich. Also a lot of championship clubs won’t sell there top assets to a “promotion rival” without really pushing up the price.
