I love stories that u dont expect to be a love story... This is the reason why i love Polivia so much! They started as strangers, colleagues, friends, then lovers and finally family... I just love how their relationship grew... One of the greatest love stories ever written!
Peter Bishop Pilot: A man trying to avoid the past and do whatever he wants to do Finale: A man fighting to save the world and see his daughter again. Pretty big change, I must say
Wow, that look when he says "When do we leave?" THAT is a professional negotiator and con man. You gotta be able to give a genuine smile even when the shit hits the fan ... which it did lol.
This very scene sold me to the couple! Like the moment they shook hands and up until season 3 ep 23, I had no doubt that these two would end up together and would make a great couple.
god. Joshua Jackson is one attractive human being... plus the difference between Peter and Walters relationship from the first episode to the last is truly amazing, from 'id rather stay in iraq, thats how much i want to see my father' to 'i love you, dad'
They ditched the "grifter/conman running from a shady past" angle for Peter pretty fast in Fringe. I mean, he did have a complicated past, it just had nothing to do with grifting or Irak or running from loansharks. The writers just hadn't figured out Peter at this point yet.
Come on you two, please remember the last (first) time you met. You really bonded, too bad you both repressed the any information regarding the circumstances of how you met the first time.
Did you see how he looked at her when he saw her for the first time? I think it WAS love at first sight, but then he got mistrustful when she said "FBI"

Bcz this feels real rather than love at first sight or school time love.

"I rather stay here in Iraq, that's how much I want to see my father"
Love that line

after all these years, I really miss this show.
oh the memories, and look how far they've come
One look from her and then the first time she opened her mouth....I would've been onboard for anything she asked.
Good lord she's mesmerizing.
Fantastic love story!
And so it begins...❤️
Funny how he called her sweetheart then and you never see it now... I guess true love for them is much more than that :)
who wouldve thought they would grow so close

Peter remembered the first time they met when he was connecting with the machine, their first meeting was among other flashbacks of him and Olivia
Okay, so it wasn't love at first sight.
Did you see how he looked at her when he saw her for the first time?
I think it WAS love at first sight, but then he got mistrustful when she said "FBI"
Actually it was. They knew each other when they were young and Walter was experimenting on Olivia.

What the hell was on his file? I don’t think it was ever explained was it?
There was no file. Olivia was bluffing. She admits to it later in the episode.
But if the file *did* exist, what would be on it to make Peter suddenly want to go with Olivia?

Season 1 had Peter had a darker past, maybe connected to his father. Sadly the subplot got abandonned/replaced later.
@@laplongejunior how much darker?
