    Nice review. I love the layout of these chargers with 2 USB-C and 1 oldschool USB in the same charger. I've got tons of old cables that I don't wanna have to replace. Good to Anker and Ugreen are roughly equal so I can buy whichever one is on sale at the moment.

    You should've compared the temperature they bring to the device, since that is where the real investment of buying a charger goes in. Of course charger gets hot or warm, but who does produce less heat, Since less heat on a lithium ion or polymer batteries actually potentially slow the deterioration of the battery. I hope this will be included on your next video since this information actually what really matters when it comes to the real convenience of buying a charger. Thank you mate

    • @tobiflitzi4361
      @tobiflitzi4361 Рік тому +35

      This is the task of your device. If your device allows charging with 65W it also should be able to handle the temperature. The heat gets produced by the device when charging not the power supply. For example new smartphones with high input wattage sometimes even have 2 battery’s so they don’t produce that much heat.

    • @3204clivesinclair

    • @guyfriends1843
      @guyfriends1843 Рік тому +5

      The newer Anker 65w will run hotter, but that is because it no longer does preset splitting instead it can adapt the power per port resulting in faster charge times

    • @loughrey101
      @loughrey101 11 місяців тому +1

      That has nothing to do with the charger. A charger can get very hot but the device itself can stay cool. It's all to do with how well the phone maker made their phone to dissipate heat as all chargers that produce the same wattage output will affect the phone the same way. How hot the chargers themselves get is another thing altogether and that can be comparable

    One thing consumers must be aware of is that some phone brands seem to limit their fastest charging mode to 1st party chargers. I own the Ugreen 65W charger and a Xiaomi Poco X3 which ships with a 3A cable. If I plug it into my Ugreen 65 charger I get "quick charge". Which is kinda fast. But if I use their included 33W charger I get "Mi Turbo Charge" which is significantly faster. I haven't looked into it but I cannot seem to get that mode with any other charger than their own. (Which is sad cause it's only 33W, and twice as large as Anker or Ugreen, and only has one classic USB port)

    • @elus89
      @elus89 8 місяців тому +3

      @@loughrey101Yeah the one with greater market availability usually has to put up with more stringent safety requirements to put up with the various regulations. That said, those certifications can cost money that goes into the price of the device, perhaps hedging against the ability of the manufacturer to supply more premium quality parts for the same price point. But then scale possibly nullifies that price component. So really one has to take apart the device and weigh out component value and judge from there.

    Next should be Aukey then Ugreen, but only if both are 30% cheaper than the Anker.
    All have more or less similar power performance and safety in place but the Anker edges out in material and electronics quality especially the their USB A and C out /female plug. My Aukey eventually loses grip before dying (20 months) even if i pry the pins back (USB A) it keeps loosing grip with the cable. my ugreen died first eventhough it was the least used at 16months. It had loose components and was rattling inside when it is shaken after about a year. I think the newer ones are of higher quality than their 1st generation chargers tho.

      @@elyx05Anker cables are always the same price as UGREEN, sometimes cheaper. Their chargers are usually only slightly more expensive but worth it as Anker applies for international safety certification, UGREEN doesn't
