It's funny watching the interactions between Sarah, Charlie and Angel. Sarah comes out with some off color remark, Charlie just lets it go by, and Angel gets embarrassed! Great team!
After watching this, it’s amazing what you were able to accomplish by yourself in your home garage a couple years ago. Content was great then and just keeps getting greater. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
I prefer this Celica build to any other builds on YT. Lamborghini Porsche McLaren blah blah blah are common as A holes. It seems every YT er has one or has had one and it meant NOTHING to them. This Celica build will be dipped in Sarah's secret sauce and THAT is why I'm here.
@@SarahnTuned they're pretty stout gearboxes and it's going in a super lightweight car so unless you decide to drag race it I think you'll be fine. I just wouldn't put it in (permanently) without going through it. No way to know how much it was abused previously.
it really shows how lit up you get when Charlie, and Food Cake, are hands-on helping you with the project. somehow it feels like it's an Ultimate Sarah at her best version. the quality team brings out your quality qualities...? much 💗 ✌️🐝➕️
Hey Sarah, i’m surprised but very happy there hasn’t been more fabricating/cutting needed. so cool you’re able to get basically custom-made parts off the shelf when not all that long ago it would’ve been needed to be 100% fabricated. Great job at hunting that stuff down. It’s not as easy as some might think can’t wait for the next one. Have a great one.🐧🐧🐧👍
Much progress has been had, a snug fit but it's in. Always great when you have a Charlie and Foodcake to hand. As we tripod peeps can only lend moral support.😁
You did a great job of taking several days work and making a fifteen minute video. I understood everything, even your innuendos. The spatula treatment might work for some people.
I totally enjoy Sarah's free spirit and her tech savvy ways. Angel's sense of humor and just easy going nature throw in Charlie's expertise and you guys got a winner! Still love and respect Sarah but I do enjoy listening to Angel and Charlie too!
I have a 1uz w58 in my RA40 Celica. Great fun to drive. Did all the work myself but I’m picking up some things I might try. Also I’m ex Royal Australian Airforce mechanic now i teach high school kids about cars lol😅
Really enjoying this project. Also enjoying how much more comfortable Angel Food Cake is in front of the camera, he's pretty funny. It's refreshing seeing you having fun with your work. Keep it up Sarah!!
Thank you Sarah for showing some of the progress you've made with the aid of your compatriots. I just made some home made split pea soup. I didn't film it.
Its great you have Charlie and Angel Food Cake helping you, you can't do everything your self even if want to. Guess they like working with you as are fun to be around with your unique 'Saraisms'.
This is going together better than I thought it would as far as no cutting or modifying the body. I can't help but think that it would look better with the bulging hood..... Love you guys
Instead of a wiper for the vapor blaster, Google "spin window". It's a round port hole looking device that spins the water off. They use them on CNC machines and also on ship windows (so they can see out during heavy rain). You can buy them new or used....
Great progress. Love all of the bolt on adapters that are available these days too. Toyota V8 with 5-speed is going to be awesome in that car. Can’t wait for the next installment!!
I have a 1977 celica with a LS1 and I used a 1st gen rx7 (SA22C) radiator and it fit deeper in the radiator support giving you more room. Aftermarket ones are 3 core and will easily cool a v8
Awesome 👍🏽 in New Zealand back in the day we had no new adaptation parts so you had to make them or know someone that new all the different cars and what could be swapped around on them, or you started the project and ended up just sitting there for a few years then someone had made adaptive parts for it lol 😀👍🏽 plus some guys could make new bellhousing from scrap metal to fit with adapter plates
That was so lucky that the gearbox and engine fit without cutting anything. I had to cut out half my firewall and the transmission tunnel down to where the handbrake was when I did my 1UZ/R154 swap in my 1980 Chrysler Avenger wagon.
A little cheek flexing never goes unnoticed. Nice judicious adjustments to get that chunk to fit under the hood. Amazing to see that it's possible. Always an enjoyable learning experience with a lot of laughs along the rocky path of custom fitment.
It's funny watching the interactions between Sarah, Charlie and Angel. Sarah comes out with some off color remark, Charlie just lets it go by, and Angel gets embarrassed! Great team!
I like this trio, need more of Angel, Charlie and Sarah working on projects together.
Wait ... Charlie ... Angels ...
After watching this, it’s amazing what you were able to accomplish by yourself in your home garage a couple years ago. Content was great then and just keeps getting greater. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
At first, I thought you were nuts for trying this, but as you make progress, I was WAY wrong. This is gonna rock !
So true, my brain doesn't even register super expensive cars any more.
I wish I had half her skill...
Someone owns a ford pinto and is pissed off at the world 😂
Charlie keeping it professional, about the shaft 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would DEFINITELY do a "freshening" on the transmission. If it's that far out, now the time, especially since you'll be hooking it to a V8!!!
Ya, 30+ year old transmission, putting a V8 in front of it. Be silly not to freshen it up.
Yeah, it’s already going to be at its ragged edge with the power. If I had $12k for PPG straight cut gears I’d do that lol
Especially since that Orange/Red RTV on the input shaft bearing cover was definitely not factory... means someone has been in there before.

Got a chuckle from the way Charlie deadpanned that innuendo.
Hi Sarah! Thanks for working so hard to make all these videos 💗

I love how much you put into the slip around on the shaft joke, and it just got ignored by all in the room....
Thanks for another cool video Sarah , Angel and Charlie .🐧

Sadly.. many of you will be angry a few videos from now when I have to cut the fenders 😅
@@SarahnTuned I won't be ofendered
Can't wait to see you give this one the beans Sarah... it's shaping up to look like a fun ride
Sarah, I just love your comedic attitude...and your videos too.😜🥴😜Thank you for being so goofy and greatening my grin!!! Keep killing it!!!
My favorite UA-cam girl. Sarah. Never stop being you
I am mega-jealous because I so wanted to do this with my '74 Celica back in the 70s. Keep going, kid! Lovin' this series.
Something we never hear Sarah say, " hummm, I wonder what this is...? " Her knowledge is unfathomable. Fun to watch, too.
Seeing you, Charlie and Angle working together is awesome. You guys make a great team!
I am amazed you figured out the bell housing and adapter thing.
W58 brings back a lot of memories.
This is the part that can't be avoided. An endless series of trials as one tries to make it all fit.
The aerospace mechanical technician shows through - everything has to be spotlessly clean
SARAHS REAR CROSSMEMBER IS ABSOLUTELY AN ENGENEERING WORK OF PERFECTION ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF PRETTY IS AS SARAH DOES GOTTA LOVE HER BEATS BARBIE WAY
Happy to see that the hood can likely be reinstalled without modification. Keeping this car in a sleeper configuration is sooo cool!

YES... FLIP AROUND ON THE SHAFT: Known as "A SPINNER!" Great Work Everyone! J
You did a great job of taking several days work and making a fifteen minute video. I understood everything, even your innuendos. The spatula treatment might work for some people.
Gosh I love this series! It's so cool to see it all tucked in there! Must be a relief...
Great job Sarah 👍 looks like food cake is having fun 😀 , Charlie is a blessing to have around, great work to all
I cant be the only person who noticed the clip from 8:17 repeats at 9:14. I thought I was nuts and had seen into the future when it came back around.
Finally finished this one too.
Little Celi is coming along.
Now back to my project...
I totally enjoy Sarah's free spirit and her tech savvy ways. Angel's sense of humor and just easy going nature throw in Charlie's expertise and you guys got a winner! Still love and respect Sarah but I do enjoy listening to Angel and Charlie too!
That Celica is going to be so bad ass! Can;t wait to see the end results!
I'm enjoying the complexities in this build.
Sarah, Angel and Charlie make a great team.
Video is well put together, entertaining and informative.
I can only imagine how fast you can get all your projects done with all three of you working on them. Rocking it!
Charlie can only do short stints before his back gets destroyed, but he orders parts like a champ!
My heart stopped when that part almost hit Angel Food Cake. Whoa... take care...
Hahahaha the sign! Nice touch. I was waiting for this video, that engine is going to be impeccable ❤
Dangerousing Sarah, dangerousing Sarah. Does whatever a dangerousing Sarah does. Great progress on the build ! Can't wait for the next stage
I wouldn't dare do something like this which is why I watch. "Slip around on the shaft" and Charlie didn't blink an eye was too funny.
I really enjoyed the cabinet crawl.
I don’t know what to say I’ve got a Sarah over load thank’ening for all the videos.

been really needing this today!
Always entertaining, thanks Sarah, Foodcake, and Charlie. Never feel disappointed for spending my time here!
Can't wait to see this when it's finished. Love what you do Sarah 💖💖💖💖🙏🙏👍👍
NO lifting, Charlie! I have bad back problems because I wouldn’t stop lifting heavy things. My back is now fused not fun.
Really enjoying this project. Also enjoying how much more comfortable Angel Food Cake is in front of the camera, he's pretty funny.

This is great!
You sure flipped this around on the shaft, so to speak.
9:52 +100 for the PUSA lyrics/reference!

I'm amazed how well that big lump of an engine fits in that wee Japanese engine bay. Like they had it in mind at the factory.
Great job on the video folks! Thanks for making it.
Really enjoying this series. From those of us who have put an engine and transmission in a place they weren't intended for, much respect.
You Ace of Based it!
That you're able (so far) to do everything bolt-on with no hacking is damn cool. Looking like this is going to be a really clean install :)
Only hacking should be on the fenders.. sorry in advance

Sarah…flip around on the shaft (with smile), 😂 Charlie…we take all these bolts out 🤣

Thanks!

Love you guys
Don't remind her of bulging hood.
Noo,, no bulging hood, sleeper style is the best.
"Cucumber, patch, pigeon, factory" - sounds like someone read you a bedtime crossword the night before.

Kudos. That is a build and a half!! (Gen-X'r loved the Lump reference!!)

Love your hustle on your builds. Such a sweet Toyota
It's great that there are parts to make this swap mostly a bolt-in. My TDI swap is quite the opposite.
